I have my own babies that I love and adore, so I know good care is super important:) I am comfortable crating them when left or leaving them out! Whatever the family is most comfortable with. About: What sets me apart is that I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m patient, dependable, attentive, and I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, and individual needs. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and energy levels, from playful puppies and young dogs who need extra patience and consistency to senior pets who may need a slower pace, medication reminders, extra bathroom breaks, or additional attention. I’m also happy working with shy, anxious, or nervous pets and always let them warm up to me at their own pace. I believe the little things make a big difference—keeping pets on their normal routine, providing plenty of play and affection, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. Most importantly, I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal. I take that responsibility seriously and strive to give every pet the same love, patience, and attention I would want for my own. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m dependable, flexible, and able to provide consistent walks, playtime, attention, and loving care throughout the day. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment while following each pet’s routine. I give plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection, while respecting their individual needs.

“This is our second stay with Allie and we always love having her! We had a long trip out of state this time and it was nice to be able to leave our pups and home to someone we can trust. She’s a great communicator, polite, considerate, and great with our dogs. We’ll keep having her back as long as she’ll have us!”

About: I've been taking pet-sitting for neighbors and friends since I was In high school, along with having many pets of my own. I have experience with a wide variety of pets, including cats, dogs, equine, fish, reptiles, and exotic animals. I adore what I do, and I'm committed to proper care and creating a relaxing environment, keeping your home safe for your furry friends while you are away. Im pretty flexible! I do work a full time job as a nail technician Tuesday-Saturday from 11am till 8pm, but it depends on how many clients I take that day as I do own my own salon and run my own business hours. So I am a little more free then some people working a full time, though I would consider that I do work full time if you have a pet that needs 24/7 care or frequent potty breaks. I feel comfortable doing practically whatever you might need from me, I can easily let pets out, exercise, crate, feed, and clean up after them. I did have an older dog myself (who unfortunately passed away feb 2025) but she took lots of medications and required lots of attention, so I'm comfortable pilling, or administering medication if needed. I’ve also taken care of diabetic dogs who have needed injections and other special treatments for special needs dogs and kitty’s! I am incredibly comfortable with any kind of pet with special needs or extra help as long as my schedule works okay with the pets needs!

About: As your pet's second best friend, I offer tailored care, genuine love, and a paw-sitively unforgettable experience! I am well educated in dog training, ensuring they’re mentally and physically stimulated, to overall pet health. I take care of my dog to the fullest extent, your dog will be treated all the same as a new member of the pack! To ensure safety and health, we don’t play right after eating to avoid bloat, I am very conscious of heat on their paws when walking on different surfaces, I avoid rawhide treats and go with homemade or very natural treats instead, and those are just scratching the surface of do’s and don’ts! I keep a structured but flexible routine, which allows me to give your dog plenty of attention, exercise, and consistency. I prioritize walks, potty breaks throughout the day, and lots of playtime and enrichment. I’m home often and very intentional about making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Whether your dog needs structure, cuddles, or high energy engagement, I adapt to their personality and routine to make their stay feel as close to home as possible! Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a well-socialized dog, Dilo, who has a background in working in high stress environments to not be reactive. Nonetheless, I always do slow introductions to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. If needed, I can crate or provide separate spaces for rest and decompression. Inside my home, I maintain a clean, structured environment with plenty of space for play and relaxation. I closely monitor interactions, follow feeding instructions carefully, and stick to your dog’s routine as closely as possible so they maintain some sense of routine while being away from home.

As of October 2026, there are 997 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Kyle. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Kyle walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Kyle maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Kyle choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
