About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life! With the occasional rabbit or fish. I have two dogs of my own now, Bo-Jack and Moose and my love for animals has only grown! I love helping other people care for their pets (aka their family💜) when they need a helping hand! I have house sit, walked, and cared for both dogs and cats for over 10 years. I am a teacher so I have summers off! I am free almost all day everyday until mid to late August and then I will be free in the evenings and on weekends once school starts! I triple check all locks and anything that needs to be cleaned up and/or put away.

I was raised with a variety of large dog breeds in the home and worked at Beaver County Humane Society throughout college. For drop-in visits in your home, please provide me with specific care instructions and how your animal(s) prefers to be interacted with (lots of love or do they keep to themself, specific feeding requirements, etc.) For stays in my home: I have a large home and yard with plenty of room for play and naps. Smoke-free living space where cuddling on the furniture is encouraged! Potty breaks are usually as often as needed since I'll be home throughout the day on most days (I will provide my schedule during your pet's stay with me). I use a tie in the yard for bathroom breaks and outdoor running since my yard is unfenced, though leashed walked can also be used if your dog prefers that. I have never used a crate for any of my animals, please let me know if your pet is more comfortable with one. I've also owned/cared for horses, birds, snakes, chinchillas, iguanas, goats, pigs, and a variety of other mammals. Frequent updates and pictures will be given to you throughout your companion's stay with me. Currently unable to take any large breed dogs for boarding. My lab/collie mix does well with smaller breeds. My cats interact well with dogs since they have been raised with one. My dog is on Frontline, and I require an active flea and tick prevention method be used for your pet as well. I work a hybrid schedule (remote about 3 days/week), so potty breaks and walks can occur at nearly any time throughout the day, depending on your pet's needs. If your dog needs a crate for comfort and "their space," please bring their own for use. I have an unfenced yard so leashed breaks and outdoor ties will be used.

Dogs love me and I love them. ❤️ I have an older service dog as well, and am able to help train a dog if needed. I'm semi-retired, so it's rare that your dog would be left alone at all, but if you're dog enjoys being left alone, that's always an option as well.
