“We are new to the area so did not know anyone to ask for dog care, so I found Elliot totally organically via Rover and am glad I did. Elliot was awesome. We had him house/dog sit for us for close to a week and he was great. Very responsive and understanding when the dates of our trip got moved around. Also he was able to swing by and let the dogs out again when our flights got delayed. The dogs were happy and healthy when we got home and seem like they loved him. We will be asking (hoping) Elliot can dog sit for us again in the future.”

About: I’ve had over 50 years of caring for many breeds of dogs, including my own. I am respectful of others homes and can be trusted to give loving care to your dogs. I am a retiree that has a fairly open schedule and able to spend the night at your home. I may need to leave for an hour two at times for health appts. and going to our home to let our own dog out for a bit. I am flexible on how to care for your dogs in your home, including using a crate. I will respect your current ways of sharing your home with your dogs.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since I was 10, including dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, and horses, and have some dog training experience. I just graduated from college, so I have a relatively free schedule as I transition, and would love to dedicate that time to animal care! About: I've been lucky enough to share most of my life with dogs, as well as a cat that worshiped me for about 15 years. I'm able to quickly form connections with animals of all kinds, and have rarely encountered a dog or cat that didn't like me, including several deemed "difficult" by others. I also have experience working in a veterinary clinic that offered boarding services. My time spent with my pets is the most rewarding part of my life, and neighbors often comment on how lucky my dogs are to have me. I'm currently looking for work and have put in applications at pet boarding and daycare facilities. In my last job, I provided support for adults with developmental disabilities, but the work was a little bit too emotionally intense for me, despite it being highly rewarding. My dogs are always on my mind, and I walk them at least three times a day. My schedule is currently completely open, and I'd love to use my time caring for your pets! I walk my dogs, including my brother's dog Rosie,at least three times a day and they receive plenty of engagement with other dogs in the neighborhood. Lila can be difficult with some smaller dogs, so boarding wouldn't really be possible at this time.

As a grad student and pet owner myself, I understand the emotional support that animals can provide! Pets are family members and I understand what it takes to look after family. Meal times, walk times, crate/no crate, on/off furniture, treats, etc. are all things I try to attend to. I am open to specific requests your pet might need!

About: Hello! I am an IU alum and live on the west side! We have a fenced in yard in case your pup needs to run off some energy while boarding! We have two 5 year old black labs - Kennedy & Finn - who are our babies!! I work from home full time and I am available most weekends as well! I am very responsive via phone, text, or email. I work from home and my work schedule is very flexible! I am able to care for dogs in my home and visit homes to take dogs out and on walks! My husband and I keep a very tidy house and have automatic secure trash cans. We never leave food out and do not believe in scraps given to our pups. We definitely take the necessary precautions such as neutering/spaying, chipping, and vaccinating our pups. They are also on flea tick & heartworm medicine.
