About: I have had dogs and cats of my own. I’ve helped family and friends with dog sitting. I have also grown up with dogs, so I understand the care that goes into them! It’s definitely a daily routine I get into just like with the kids. Feeding, play time, rest time; everything from taking care of the kids and pets all flows together. Treating them like family. About: Pet sitting experience: I was raised in a pet-loving family where having 3+ animals at home was the norm. We cared for dogs, cats, turtles, birds—and even helped out with relatives’ farm animals. I learned to treat all creatures with kindness and respect. I don’t believe any species is “better” than another. All animals deserve love and thoughtful care. For the past 10 years, I’ve raised my own pets, including two dogs and two cats. I currently live with a sweet rescued puppy from Hawaii, a senior tabby cat I adopted in Argentina, and a curious little stray kitten from Wisconsin. During the pandemic, I volunteered to foster sick and vulnerable rescue puppies and keeping them safe and healthy until they found forever homes. Friends have trusted me with their pets for over a decade and I also gained professional pet sitting experience while living in Australia on a working holiday, caring for small dogs and cats. I have a lot of patience for puppies—because I’ve got one myself in the last year! I’m confident in basic training, including potty and crate training, leash work, early socialization, and essential commands like sit, down, paw, stay, yes/no, off, leave it, and more.
