5. Jessica C.
“Jessica was attentive, sincere, and happy to engage our cat above and beyond our expectations. We had just laid out for her to feed and make sure he got his pill, but she also spent time socializing, playing, and even cleaned out the cat box without us asking her to. We thought he loved us, until we saw the photos she sent from her visits. She won him over and surely made our absence more bearable for him. 11/10 will contact again next time we need a cat sitter!”

About: I intern at an animal sanctuary where I provide full animal care to cats, dogs, foxes, birds, wolves, horses, a beaver, a bear, an elk, and much more. I have been there for over a year as well as taken care of many other animals for families over night and daily check ins. I am studying environmental science where I hope to work with animals so I have been gaining a lot of experience and knowledge with all kinds. I work another job currently as well as school so my check ins would be early morning and nights. My schedule varies from day to day so I’m willing to work it out as needed. I am available for over nights almost every night. I have watched animals with and without fences. I have gained a lot of experience in how to keep both me and the animals safe from my internship knowledge.

16. Emily N.
About: I’ve loved pets my whole life. When was about 13, I created my own pet sitting business called Whiskers and Wags. Now that work and personal commitments allow, I’m getting back in the business! I have always felt a connection with animals. My sitting experience includes cats, small dogs, reptiles and birds. I want your pets to get enrichment and affection. My priority is to help your pet feel loved and cared for, so you can rest easy! I work in an elementary school so I am available outside of normal school hours. Weekends work best for me during the school year, but I’m happy to do some sitting over school breaks and the summer! In my home, we have doggy gates and a litter box for each of our cats. I have some informal dog training and can easily crate your dog if needed! There are water bowls in several parts of the house to ensure everyone stays hydrated, especially during the summer months.
