“Rachel was amazing with our old pup! She let us know how he did during the day, when he ate, and anything to follow up on when we returned. She was thoughtful and adapted to his quirks. Our house was well taken care of and we felt all was safe and sound while gone. She is truly caring and understanding with senior dogs.”

“Caitlin was a great sitter for our old timer who required extra attention. She is a very good communicator and did very well with our dog. I will definitely be reaching back out to her!”

“Our pup and kitty LOVE Kaelin!! We’ve had her pet sit for the past 2 Christmas breaks and she’s been wonderful. Our dog is very high maintenance (kidney issues, IBS, and he’s blind) and it’s such a relief knowing he’s well taken care of while we’re away.”

“Our 1 year old dog had a lot of fun with Willow, Maggie’s dog, while we were away. We received pictures everyday and she kept us updated on the little things. She’ll definitely be sitting for us again!”

About: Growing up on a farm means I have an abundance of experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. This experience has only grown thanks to the 1000+ hours spent caring for a great variety of animals thanks to my preparation for and training in veterinary school. I have worked in several veterinary clinics, a couple of shelter settings, and a commercial aviary. This means I am incredibly comfortable caring for all kinds of pets of any age, as well administering medications and keeping up with unique needs. Much of my love for veterinary medicine comes from the opportunity to bond with people and their pets, and providing pet care is another amazing chance to do just that. I would love to serve you and your four-legged family! Being a student allows for a very flexible schedule, perfect for attentive and personalized pet care! Much of my course work can be done online, so I am often free to hang out with your furry friends while I study throughout the day. I try to build my schedule where I don't need to leave pets alone longer than 6 hours maximum, and I am willing to adjust according to your pet's needs. I take great care to keep your pet's routine as similar as possible to their normal to minimize stress. I love to schedule a meet & greet beforehand to get to know you and your pet, and get to know all the details of their routine. I know what questions to ask to make the process as enjoyable and stress free as possible. I also know how nice it is to come back to a clean home. Therefore, when staying in a client's home I take great care to leave everything exactly as it was or better. That way you can relax knowing your pets are well taken care of, and you have nothing to worry about when you return.

“Rachel took great care of our huskies and our house. We were so appreciative of the photos and updates during our vacation. The dogs were happy to see us, but were very chill and pretty calm when we got home, unlike after their kennel stays. We will be booking Rachel's services again! Thanks Rachel.”

“Rachel was great! Before our trip she suggested we do a meet and greet. It was a great chance to introduce our cats to her, show her where things like the cat food is stored, etc. Once we were on our trip, Rachel sent pictures and videos of the cats each day, which was a great comfort as one of our cats is pretty shy and nervous with people. However, he warmed up to Rachel within a few days of her home stay. She also took great care of our house! Everything was tidy and she even washed/dried the bed sheets and remade the bed! We will definitely be checking if Rachel is available when we go on trips in the future.”

Kaela w.
“Kaela has been my go-to dog sitter for many, many years. I have had a series of crazy Boston terriers, usually two at a time, and she has taken care of all of them with such love and attention. She's cared for them when they were truly crazy puppies, and when they were senior dogs who sometimes were hard of hearing and nearly blind. The dogs have sometimes been on special diets and often on medications that were different for each dog. I knew the dogs would get what they each needed, and no detail would be overlooked when they were in her care. It always eased my mind that she was with them because I knew they were getting the best love and snuggles and play possible. My preferred way to have a dog sitter is for the sitter to stay in my home and I knew with Kaela the house would be the same when I walked back in the door as it was when I left. Our dogs usually prefer to sleep with us and Kaela was even willing to share her bed with the little bed hogs. I can't say enough how much I rely on Kaela as my dog sitter, nor how much my dogs love her.”
