About: I’ve worked in veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant and kennel assistant in multiple different offices and shelters for ten years. I also have owned numerous dogs and cats in my lifetime. I have experience with diabetic cats and dogs, and administering medication. There is no dog i cannot medicate when he needs them! I’m a stay at home mom of 1 with two dogs and one cat, so I’m always available. Rain or shine, day or night, I can always pop in on Fido or Fluffy! Unless otherwise discussed with the pet parent, my usual rounds would include cleaning and refilling the water bowl at every visit, feeding at the agreed upon times, bathroom breaks upon my arrival and departure, regardless of the length of my stay, and plenty of loves and scritches for your four legged best friend!

I am a runner so I love to run with dogs although my pace isn't lightning fast. I also have a kitty who is 9 years old. She loves being outdoors and sometimes will walk with me as well. I am married. My interests are outdoor hobbies such as biking running and gardening. I work early hours, so I am available later in the afternoon and on weekends to play and walk your furry babies. I can take them on long or short walks.. whatever they are used to I’ll provide water and food as needed and plenty of tummy rubs. Keep them on leash at all times and keep them out of harms way on walks

About: I have worked with lots of animals including: dogs, cats, horses, goats, and chickens. I also have experience of giving oral medications and subcutaneous injections. I'm available all day during the weeks, and after 3pm on the weekends to watch and care for your pet. I currently work part time during the day on the weekends. I can care for your animals in their home environment so they feel safe and comfortable and stress free, and recieve lots of love and care that they need!

About: I’ve volunteered at animals shelters for years and fostered cats with medical needs. I love all animals and believe they all deserve the best care! I’m currently working full time, however am available from 4pm-10pm to spend time with your pets during the week. I also may be available in the mornings before 8am if known ahead of time. I can adapt to however you prefer to care for your pets! I currently have a cat who is very friendly towards other animals as well.

About: Hello! My name is Lexi, and I have a lot of experience dealing with dogs. For about 7 years now, family and friends have relied on me to take care of their dogs. I have worked at an animal hospital as a kennel technician as well as been a dog bather. I have learned so much from those jobs and gained a lot of knowledge on how to care for them. How I Care for My Own (Very Spoiled) Pups 🐶💅 Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s part of who I am! At home, I’ve got two fluffy Samoyeds who rule the roost, and I treat them like the royal (and slightly dramatic) snow dogs they are. I’m big on reading body language—every tail flick and side-eye tells a story. I always let the dog come to me first, especially when I’m in their space. It’s their territory, and I fully respect that! My pups eat like allergy-conscious kings: red meat-free kibble (sensitive tummies!), a splash of wet food for excitement, and daily vitamins to keep their coats shiny and their energy high. They get fed twice a day—7:00 AM sharp and 4:30 PM, just like clockwork. I make sure they get out for potty breaks at least 3–4 times a day, and I’m borderline obsessed with checking their water bowls (fluff equals thirst, especially in warm weather). Before I ever leave the house, I always do a quick scan to make sure there’s nothing they can chew, eat, knock over, or mysteriously destroy while I’m gone. Safety first! When I’m caring for someone else’s fur baby, I go by your rules and routines—but I treat them like my own: with love, patience, and the kind of care you’d expect for a four-legged child (because… they are).

About: I am a certified veterinary technician in Illinois. I have been in veterinary medicine for going on 10 years. Just over 6 of which have been spent in emergency medicine. I have grown up with pets of all kinds. Cats and dogs being my favorite! I currently have a 2 year old bulldog/ terrier mutt who loves to run, play, and will do anything for treats. We are graciously allowed to share residence with 2 handsome cats. I also home a 10 year old bearded dragon, a crested gecko, 2 Russian tortoises and a 2yr old hooded rat! I love to take the time to get to know any pet in my care whether at the clinic or as a sitting client. I believe that engaging with each pet on their level and with what they want to do brings them happiness and helps create a bond between us. I’m currently a stay at home mother to 3 tiny humans so I can be flexible with timing of pet care for my own pets and for yours! I have a fenced in yard and a spare room that will be set up for your pet if boarding. I try to practice patient care/ pet care like I would in a medical setting. About: Hello, I’m Joshua, or “Shua” for short! I’m very personable with both people and pets. I’m a driven, energetic, and playful person who lives for moments of 1 on 1 connection with animals. I don’t have any dogs of my own, but I have accumulated so much pet sitting experience through Rover. I’ve had the privilege of caring for a diverse range of pups, including Black Labs, Retrievers, Shih-Tzus, Goldendoodles.. You name it, I’ve cuddled it! Through my pet sitting experience, I see myself as an adoptive pet parent. I LOVE that my apartment is rarely empty, and a fur baby is always in reach ♥️🐶 I live in the suburban neighborhood of Spring Branch. I love how much there is to do here. It’s great for running, playing, or any other activity a dog’s heart may desire. My apartment complex has a large yard with lots of open space and grass for my furry guests to play. I play soccer competitively and practice every day. I also enjoy running and cooking. My favorite shows are Suits and How I Met Your Mother. I love watching TV with friends and family. I got a 30 on my ACT and take pride in being able to find creative and intelligent solutions to any problem I’m faced with while dog sitting. Feel free to reach out with any questions!! My work schedule is very lax and subject to change in order to accommodate pet care. Of course, making sure that each room is stacked with the proper food, water, and equipment whenever i’m leaving the house is part of my routine, and is of paramount importance to me. I live in a one bedroom apartment. I like to distribute the dogs evenly amongst the bedroom and living room, depending on compatibility between pups. Then the rooms are stacked with toys, food, and water. From there, it’s just a matter of making sure the pups receive adequate exercise. This can be accomplished through ball play in a smaller space, Fetch, or light jogging outside.
