“MacKenzie was fantastic! We had a family member cancel with short notice for watching out 2 dogs and 3 cats for a week while we were going on vacation. I quickly hopped on Rover to see who was near us, and decided to message MacKenzie based on other reviews that had been left. She was quickly able to come over and meet our gang to make sure it would be a fit. After that initial meeting, my husband and I both felt very comfortable and confident with her coming to stay and take care of things while we were gone. The day we were supposed to leave, we ran into some issues but MacKenzie was flexible and fast to communicate. She was very punctual and sent brief updates/questions throughout the week (she has our preference on communication and we had told her we didn't need regular check ins or updates). When we got home, we could tell our dogs and cats had missed us, but it was also clear that they had been well taken care of. Overall, if and when I may need another house & pet sitter, I wouldn't hesitate to reach back out to MacKenzie and I won't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for help.”

About: Hi! my name is Denique and I have a strong love for all types of animals. I am a 24yr old graduate from A&T University with a major in Animal Science. I have been caring for pets ever since I was a toddler. Caring for a pet in my household has always been my responsibility and I’ve done so very well, although I currently do not own a pet at the moment it just makes me more passionate to care for others. Making sure your pet is happy, safe, and having a good time is one of my main priorities. I am so excited to care for your pets and give them the best time. About: I have taken care of animals since I was 7 years old and professionally since I was 18 years old. I love ALL animals. I have experience with the following animals: Bearded Dragons, Cats, Dogs, Ferrets, Rabbits, Fish, Hamsters, and Birds. I know how to administer shots and give medications orally to Cats, Dogs, and Ferrets. I believe that pets aren't pets - they are family. I live in a house with my husband, 4 month old baby, and 2 kitties. I work a 9-5 full time job but can take breaks to help with walks, potty breaks, and feedings. I have a full-time job however, I can take breaks throughout the day to attend to your animal's needs (walks, potty breaks, food, etc.). I have full availability on the weekends. I have 2 cats who get along with other animals. They roam around the house and tend to do their own thing. Staying in client homes, I will only use items/rooms that I am told can be used. I ALWAYS clean up after myself and will do light housework if asked/needed.

About: I’ve taken care of both cats & dogs, small & large breeds since I was 15. I took veterinary science for 3 years and I’m dedicated to keeping your pet safe and happy ! As of right now, my schedule is flexible. I have classes on Tuesdays & Thursdays. I also have a part time job at a doggy daycare so I will always be able to care for your pets before & after work & my classes! I’m available for house sitting after 10 am starting Friday. I have a fenced in yard with 2 friendly dogs named Rudy(bichon frise)& Dior ( pitbull), as well as a curious bombay kitten named Sauron. I had a calico cat named Gracie whom I no longer have but loved very much. I can bathe/groom, give medication to your pets if they take medication daily. Once I move into my new apartment, pets will sleep in the same room as me & will be feed 2-3 times a day ( depending on how your feeding schedules work, i can change that.)

About: I've taken care of dogs and had dogs all through life. Have fostered for Richmond ruff house. I enjoy taking care of animals and walk a lot so your pet will get plenty of exercise. I have a large fenced in backyard so your pooch can play freely and have potty breaks any time they need one. I work in office during the week and have the ability for your pets to be let out during the day and during the weekend am around full time for your pets. I have a fenced in yard, a daughter who loves taking care of animals and it is a smoke free home. I am happy to exercise and walk your pets regularly and maintain any feeding schedule you prefer. I currently work in office during the week and have a hybrid schedule at times. But my teenager is there after school to help and let pets out. I have a large yard with a 6 foot privacy fence. I have dog bowls and a large dog crate on site so less for you to pack.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals my whole life from dogs, cats to all our other loved animals on our small farm. I love helping people out when they need an extra hand to make sure there animals are getting the most! Available everyday, anytime:) being able to provide plenty of walks / potty breaks and more!! I love walking on the trails near me and also letting All the different pets see so much of our beautiful nature! About: I’ve taken care of all of the animals my neighbors and family have had since I was able to walk. Animals mean everything to me I only work part time (and plan to keep it that way) so I’m always available to take care of your animals for you, especially on the weekends and holidays I stay in an apartment without a yard unfortunately, but there are dog parks that I visit often near by and plenty of space inside my home and around the complex for your animal.

About: I’ve been in the emergency vet field for over a year and a half now with experience in handling emergency situations, aggressive animals & administering medication. I’ve taken care of dogs since i was 18, from my own who now needs seizure needs daily, to my family dog who was paralyzed and needed to be expressed daily. Dogs are my life & I want the opportunity to help others in any way I can. When i’m not at work I am usually at my house. I work 3 days out of the week from 7-7 (the days vary) but i am always available before or after those hours. I will spend most of my time snuggled up with your baby as i am mine in my free time.
