About: My family got a Havanese when I was 14 years old and she just passed away February 2024. Recently, my partner and I got a Micro Bernadoodle puppy in June 2024. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk and take care of their pets since I was in high school! I am a teacher during the school year so I have all summer off! I am available most days for a walk or a quick stop-by. Currently, I have a puppy at home so I am very attentive when it comes to safety for your fur baby. When walking your pet, I can always bring my puppy with me for a friend if you want your dog to be socialized!

About: I’ve been dog walking and sitting for neighbors since I was 12 years old. I’ve dog sat multiple types of dogs. I’ve done dog walking, check-in & potty break visits, and I’ve stayed at a clients home for long periods of time (5+ days) to be with their pups. I’ve also been tasked with administering insulin shots to dogs before. And I have a lot of experience with dogs that have anxiety, whether with new people, thunderstorms, or anything else, as I have one myself and a long remaining client of mine does as well. I’ve always loved dogs, having grown up having 2 smaller dogs myself. I am hoping to do pet sitting as a new permanent business, so I will have nothing but time to look after your pets! I will schedule out days and time periods based on client necessity and to provide the optimal care for your pets. Because I have two dogs myself, one of which has severe people and other animal anxiety, which for the safety of your pets and mine means I am unable to bring any pets into my home as of current. However, I’ve stayed at the homes of clients before to be with their pups while they’re away. I feed them every morning and night or make sure the food bowl is full depending on how the client feeds their dogs. I give them any medicine or joint tablets that they need to be well. I let them out multiple times a day whenever they need it. And I try to play with and pet them as much as I can while I’m there so they don’t miss their humans too much. I will even take them on a walk if allowed.

I now have a black Yorkie of my own, and I treat every animal I care for like part of the family—whether they bark or purr! I currently work part time- and have lots of free time! I will send out a daily schedule of what I’ll be doing with the pets! I will take your dog out on walks on our neighborhood trail outside! I also have a few ring cameras, and will send a lot of pictures/videos throughout the day.

“We have a Tortoise, 2 gerbils, and a cat that Olga has pet-sitted wonderfully. We went away for a week, she stayed in our home and kept everything in fantastic condition upon our arrival. Sometimes it’s hard to find a pet sitter who is comfortable with reptiles and cage critters as well as Dogs and Cats, I’m so glad we found her, we have also had a 67 lb boxer move in with us and we are re-hiring her because of her comfort level with all the different animals.”

“"I can’t say enough wonderful things about Gillian as a pet sitter on Rover! She has taken care of my dog on multiple occasions, and each experience has been exceptional. Gillian is incredibly reliable, communicative, and clearly passionate about animals. From our first meeting, it was clear that she genuinely cared about making my pet feel safe and comfortable. Gillian kept me updated daily with messages and photos, which made me feel completely at ease while I was away. My dog absolutely adores her, and it's easy to see why—Gillian is attentive, playful, and goes above and beyond to make sure he has a great time. I could tell she followed all my care instructions closely and truly treated my pet like her own. If you're looking for a sitter who is dependable, kind, and experienced, I highly recommend Gillian.
