“Lindsey and Leland, et al, were great. 😊. They seemed super excited to have my baby Brandy, Brandy seemed very at ease with them When I picked her up. She was very chill - way different than she is when she is at a kennel. I was nervous as to how she would do, but the team at Lindsey and Leland’s seemed great. Brandy already has time set up to “visit” with them again!”

“This was Kimber’s first stay with a Rover (or anyone other than my parents) and I was so nervous about leaving her because, but Ashley sent me so many great updates and photos and worked really hard to get Kimber to be comfortable! Kimber was so well loved while she was there I wouldn’t hesitate to leave her there again!”

“Ashley and Todd are such wonderful and caring hosts. We left our two dogs with them for a long weekend and they treated them just as lovingly as if they were their own. They were great about providing us updates on how our pups were doing, and made accommodating our drop-off and pick-up times an ease. Thanks Ashley and Todd, and our boys will look forward to hanging out with you all again soon!”

“As always, Katie took great care of my baby boy while I was away! I never have to worry about him when I’m gone. She updates me regularly and sends photos. She is THE BEST!”

“Much over due review. Our dog loves Tracey. She usually gets anxious when we leave? but with Tracey she just bounds up the steps and jumps into her arms. Tracey has been always very calm when any situation arises (like stomach upset) and takes our dog for romps at the beach regularly. You can tell Tracey watches dogs because she just loves them and is very comfortable and knowledgeable about dogs. We are very grateful for Tracey!”

About: I've worked with many breeds of dogs. Mostly small to mid-size dogs with a variety of traits. Mostly working dogs namely Blue Heelers & Huskys. I tend to live an active lifestyle and that means hiking/walking/and lots of exercise. Rest assured both me and your pooch will be getting a good workout! In the past I've facilitated overnight lodging for dogs, and temporary stays of up to a few days. Be noted I do not currently have a large open or fenced in yard. I work with neighbors and friends pets on quite a regular basis! I regularly feed, train, walk & care for pets when away or on business! I work from home so this environment provides a perfect spot for pets to be nurtured & played with consistently! I always check prior to booking any special exercise and or dietary needs of your pet. Ensuring door remain locked when inside and timer's are set for when pets receive food upon client preference. Safety is of the upmost priority, so I will discuss a full plan and schedule so you know where you pup is and his progress while away. I will send regular check in photos to provide accountability for myself and the clients well being.

“We are really happy with our dog’s stay at Sylicia’s home. She walked him and gave him lots of play time in her dog-friendly backyard. Sylicia kept in contact with us over Cozmo’s 5-night stay. I really appreciated the text updates and photos. I recommend her for loving and attentive pet sitting! Thank you Sylicia!”

About: I used to work as an assistant manager at a pet shop for over two years which has been an incredible learning opportunity for me. I've taken care of dogs ever since I was 10. Friends and family trusted me to feed, bathe, and walk their sweet babies. As for reptiles, I have been taking care of and rescuing reptiles, mainly bearded dragons and leopard geckos, for over three years now. Because of my experience at a pet shop, feel free to inquire about caring for other pets. I'm working full-time, so I can fit in walking/caring for your furry or scaley babies on the weekends, early Monday-Wednesday, and later evening on Thursday and Friday. I do not offer pets coming to my residence. Regarding care for my personal pets though, my dog has dietary restrictions, so she gets pumpkin puree, goats milk, unsalted beef broth, and sardines mixed with her grain free kibble. These help her poops stay solid, strengthen her stomach, as well as provide some extra protein. My bearded dragon gets a fresh salad every day that rotates ingredients every week and adores the dubia roaches that I breed myself. My leopard gecko is obsessed with mealworms that I have to keep buying because he keeps eating them before they can breed a proper amount. Both of my scaly babies are in bioactive-ready tanks that I have so much fun redecorating every couple months with new wood and rocks. With my experience of working in a pet shop and having a pet that has their own special needs, I've learned to take great care of the individual need of each and every pet under my care.

“Vicki did an excellent job taking care of my dogs! She gave updates and sent pictures regularly. She went out of her way to make sure my dogs had a good time and I’d definitely book her in the future!”

“Jessica, her family, and her home were so welcoming to our floppy labrador. She's got a great backyard, near a park, and definitely gave Bosco loving attention. He came home anxiety-free, exercised but rested and clean.”

Kingston dog parents share their Rover experiences
Simone truly deserves these five stars? Our dog Luna had a very relaxing three days with her; and it made our being away so much easier knowing that she was being loved, well taken care of, and enjoying the company of Simone's two dogs. In Luna's eight years, this is the first time she has been boarded with someone other than family, and it was a very positive experience. Thank you Simone!
