About: I grew up with a beagle as a kid and he was loved up until the very end. I now have a beagle and lab. After undergrad, I began overnight sitting in my home for family friends. I have experience with small, medium, and large dog breeds including those with medical needs. I’ve had overnight stays up to 2 weeks and one experience of deskunking! 😅 I’m happy to walk, feed, play, and watch all dogs. I work full-time Monday through Friday. I am a lawyer, so there are some days when I need to be in person for my clients. However, I loved pet sitting so much while I was in college that I continue to do so now on a limited basis. I am available for mornings, afternoon lunch breaks, and anytime after 4 PM on weekdays. My weekends are pretty limited because we do enjoy to travel and to spend time with our friends and family. I’m available during the week early mornings, lunch time potty breaks, and after work on days I’m out of the home. Otherwise, I’m available more frequently on days I work from home. I am not accepting overnight pets in the home as I rent my current space and we have our two dogs on the lease only. I am happy to watch in client home, walk, or stay at your place!

About: I have been caring and training dogs for over a decade, including experience with large breeds. I am especially experienced with Newfoundlands, Newfoundland-Poodle mixes, Goldendoodles, Dogo Argentinos, and Vizslas. I am comfortable handling strong, energetic dogs and always approach animals with patience, respect, and understanding their individual needs. As a healthcare graduate student, I bring responsibility, attention to detail, and caring communication to every pet I care for. In addition, I genuinely enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so I'm happy to provide long walks and structured exercise for pets who need to burn off some energy. Come May, I'll have a flexible schedule as I complete the classroom portion of my Doctor of Physical Therapy program. With a lighter schedule and no part-time work commitments, I'll have plenty of time and energy to dedicate to walks, drop-in visits, and giving your pets the attention they deserve. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I follow all owner instructions carefully, maintain secure handling during walks, and supervise pets closely at all times. I respect each home's rules and routines to ensure consistency for the pet. I am attentive to behavioral cues and changes in health, and I communicate promptly with owners if anything seems out of the ordinary.

About: I have over 10 years of experience working and volunteering at a dog and cat kennel, where I cared for pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. My experience includes caring for dogs ranging from Great Danes to Chihuahuas, as well as cats with different temperaments and care needs. I have experience administering diabetic shots and other veterinarian-prescribed medications, handling reactive or aggressive animals safely, and helping reinforce training and positive behaviors. Through years of hands-on experience, I’ve learned how important patience, consistency, and compassionate care are in making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Right now I work a part-time job, and my schedule changes from week to week, which actually makes me very flexible and able to adapt easily to different pet care needs. I’m able to plan ahead and make time for walks, drop-ins, and longer stays as needed, and I always prioritize being reliable and consistent once I commit to a booking. I enjoy working with animals, so fitting pet care into my routine feels natural rather than stressful. I’m also very communicative, so pet parents can always expect updates and reassurance while their pets are in my care. I have a large, comfortable home with a fully fenced-in yard, providing a safe space for dogs to play, exercise, and relax. I also have four very friendly dogs, which can offer great social interaction for pets who enjoy companionship. However, I understand that not every dog is social, so I can easily keep visiting pets separate if they prefer their own space or need a calmer environment. Every pet in my care is treated with the same love, attention, and respect as my own, and I always prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. I strive to create a calm, welcoming environment where each dog feels secure, cared for, and at home while you’re away.

About: We are a pet loving family. I’ve had pets since I was 3 years old. I regularly take care of friends pets when they are out of town and would be happy to make more furry friends. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible. I am currently working from home so my schedule is very flexible. I am available for drop offs or I can drop into your home if requested. I am ready to give your pet all the attention they need. I love playing, snuggling, and going for walks. Our yard is not fenced so your pet will always be walked on leash.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
