“Our girl got so much love and attention with Lyndsey. I felt comfortable that her needs were met and she was safe. Lyndsey was so friendly and easy to work with. Will definitely use her again.”

“Wonderful!! Katelyn and her family were so kind and helped me get a nervous pup into her home. She took care of her so well sending pics that were so comforting. She even slept near her a while to help calm her. I’m so grateful for such great care!”

“My dog returned from Alejandra's good care happy and exhausted. She cared for him well, entertained him, provided lots of playtime with other dogs, and kept me up to date. She was also very accommodating when I found my flight plans cancelled due to bad weather. It was reassuring to know that she would not leave my dog in the lurch!”

“Allison & Nicholas are the best!!! They took such good care of my Deso. He couldn't have been in better care. They sent me pictures and kept me updated. Would recommend if you need a good sitter. Will definitely be using in the future as long as I am Ft Wayne. Thanks again.”

“Pen had the most wonderful two and a half weeks with Rebecca. He loves her so much I plan to set up some daycare visits just so he can spend time with his best pal. They went in walks and snuggled on the couch, she gave him lots of love and attention, he was always happy and well cared for. She sent updates and pictures every day so I could feel confident he was relaxed and happy. He even made friends with the people in her neighborhood! He’s a social butterfly and she knew I was okay with him saying hello. This was my first time leaving him for a long vacation and I was really nervous about how successful he would be, but he had the most wonderful time with Rebecca and I was able to relax and enjoy myself knowing how happy my guy was.”

“Josie and Michael were fabulous! It is such a relief to have a place to leave your fur babies and you do not need to worry. Josie made drop off a breeze and when I picked them up my babies seemed very relaxed, even though it was their first night away! I appreciate them very much and will definitely be using them again in the future. Do not hesitate to call on them, you will not be disappointed. Thank you so much Josie & Michael for welcoming my fur babies into your home.”

“Hannah and Haley did a great job with my baby! A perfect fit for Jamie's separation anxiety, since he was never home alone, and he came home a very tired baby after playing with Hannah's dogs all weekend. He didn't seem to want to leave!”

“Kristen is amazing. Kristen provided such great care for my 8 week old Shih Poo. I had only received River seven days prior to having to board him. I had surgery and had no choice. It was a hard decision but I am glad I was led to Kristen. She made me feel at ease with my decision. She also provide me several daily updates and photos of River. As needed, I will rebook with Kristen for any occasion.”

“If you were to imagine the couple you’d want to watch your family pet its Alex and Jaycee. They are very professional, clean home, great communication, and evident pet lovers!”

“Heather was awesome! She took great care of Leo and was quick in communicating. We would definitely rebook and would recommend to anyone looking for a welcoming place for your pup! Thank you!”

“Mindi's gentle spirit was a perfect fit for Ozzy. He was very happy when picked up and seemed to enjoy his walks and time with Mindi. She kept in touch by sending pictures of Ozzy and asked questions about how best to care for him. I will gladly reach out to Mindi again the next time we need someone to watch Ozzy.”

“Faith and her Family are great! I’ve felt so comfortable leaving my fur babies with them! The photos and videos I got daily showed how much they enjoyed and cared for them while they were there. I will definitely keep faith as my go to when I need a pup sitter!”

“This was the first time I used Rover, Alicia was great! I went on vacation and had to leave my senior Lab mix Sugiebear behind for the first time. She is 12 yrs old and has some health issues. Alicia's home is very neat and was accommodating to my Sugiebear 's needs. Alicia took great care of her and sent me pics and updates everyday. I also had car trouble coming home which caused me to be late picking Sugiebear up, Alicia was very understanding. I will definitely be using Alicia again and I will be recommending her to everyone I know. Many thanks”

“Great experience! A wonderful family that loved on our dogs while we were gone. We received pictures every day and put us at ease with our first Rover experience. I highly recommend!”

“We absolutely love boarding with Millie. Our dog always feels at home. And while we have been traveling this holiday season. Our daily photos have been extra festive with our dog sitting in front of her Christmas tree. Millie is always very communicative and flexible with pick up times and in general with daily updates about our pet.”

“Cory was very kind and made me feel so comfortable with leaving my pupper (Roko) with him. The communication was 100%, great amount of space for Roko to run off his energy and play, and just awesome understanding and care for him. I will be rebooking for the next time we have a family trip because my Roko felt so loved and comfortable and happy here.”

“Violet always has the best time when she goes to Agnathas home! She comes back exhausted, from all the play time she gets in while there! Agnatha loves to spoil Violet as well, she snuggles her and lets her on the sofa! I was worried Violet wouldn’t want to come back home with us. It is a nice relief knowing our pup is getting the best care while we are away!”

About: I have had animals my entire life so I am very accustomed to taking care of pets. Our dog had seizures and had to take medication 2x/day. I know how important our animals are and what they mean to us. They are family. Having 3 pets of my own, animal care is in play 24 hours a day. Whether it's potty breaks, medications, or feeding time, I always make sure my animals are healthy and happy. Ensuring that they have food and water and a safe, warm place are of utmost importance. - Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
