About: Hi there! My name is Jamie and I am a very active dog lover!! I love taking dogs for walks and runs, playing fetch, playing tug-of-war, and playing any other kinds of games that your dog may enjoy! I have 3 years of paid experience in caring for both dogs and cats. I love spending time with furry friends and will make sure that I take care of your pet as if it were my own! My husband and I have two English Cream Retrievers and we love them more than anything in the world! I know that puppies, dogs, and all other animals require a lot of time and attention, and I am more than willing to provide the care that they need! My husband and I are both Firefighter/Paramedics, and know first-hand how difficult and anxiety provoking finding a reliable pet sitter can be. I am committed to walking your furry friend when needed, dropping in to visit them while you are away for the day, and we are open to hosting your furry friend in our home if you need extended care. We have a small, fenced in backyard where your furry friends can play with ours, and we live near the lake so extended walks are always available!! I know my schedule in advance, so scheduling should not be an issue! If we are boarding your dog in our home, someone is almost always home between my husband and I! We also walk our own dogs daily, so we are used to daily walks and exercise! If your fur-baby is spending time at my house, I have two very loving and playful doggos that can keep your dog company! I live near the lake, so there are plenty of places to walk and explore! I am also willing to take your dog to the dog park at Pets Park if that is something your dog would like! I am very active, so long walks/runs are not an issue!

About: I've been dog-sitting my friends' & neighbors' dogs for years now. Everything from Shih Tzus to Labs to Collies and Pit Bulls, I do well with all types of dogs! I love taking dogs for walks and playing fetch! (Also, I love cats! (I'm a Cat Mom of 4)). I'm currently pet-sitting full-time, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pet(s)! I am always respectful of my clients' homes & make sure I take the dogs out frequently to use the bathroom & for walks/play, that litter boxes are cleaned, & that there is always fresh water/food given.

About: I have been taking care of dogs for about 4 years. I have experience with sick dogs and puppies, and I am also outdoorsy so if your dog needs walked I would love to do that! I am available from Monday morning through Sunday evening every week any time, and I am okay with short notice because I understand that that's how life works sometimes. So as long as there is an opening I can work with you! I am currently only taking appointments for caring for pets in the clients home. I can come by for playtime, feeding, walking, and letting dogs out to use the bathroom.

We work as a team to cover the care of any dogs that are staying with us, and during times when one or more of us is busy with an activity or appointment. Your dog will get plenty of fresh air, sunshine and green grass to enjoy throughout the day. Additionally, we may also take a walk with your dog. This is determined by weather permitting, how many dogs are in our care and your dog’s energy level. We have a small fenced yard, with plenty of space for your dog to run and jump and play. You will also receive daily updates and pictures. Oftentimes your dog will have a play pal to enjoy during their stay with us as well.

About: Hiya! I'm Rebecca and I was in school to become a vet tech, but now I'm going to school to be a mortician and I'm a tattoo apprentice. I live in Kenosha, which is 15 minutes from the beach and I live around the boarder of Illinois too!! I'm an animal lover I have two dogs at home, an 8-year old westie and a corgi/heeler mix puppy. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs! My friends have cats that I care for when needed. I have also taken care of horses, reptiles, rodents, and birds as well! My availability is pretty open right now, but I do have dungeons and dragons on Sundays, Friday and Monday nights. So I wouldn't mind if you needed me to do pop-in visit or walks! I can hold a small conversation in ASL! :) I cannot wait to meet you and your fur babies in the future!! :) I have dungeons and dragons on Sundays from 12pm - 5pm, Mondays from 6-9:30pm (online), and Fridays from 6-9:30pm so taking care of your fur baby will not be a problem if they can be left alone for a few hours. Otherwise, I'm available at anytime! I'm very flexible, so if you need an someone to do an emergency sitting for awhile, I'd be more than happy to look after your fur babies during that time! I treat your companions like my own pups, spoiled and treated like queens or kings. I will go to your house and stay there for the sitting including overnights. However, if you do not let your fur baby on furniture, I will respect and follow the house rules. I can take your fur baby for a walk, or we can go to the dog park if you're okay with that! If your furbaby needs medication or fluids, I would prefer to show me how you do it at home, so they can be the most comfortable when I have to give them their medication when you're away. I may a have a friend come by, but I will always ask first. I promise you that there will be no wild parties in your home!

About: Owned animals my entire life. My dachshund recently passed but not ready to own again yet as we plan to move in the next year. Have owned beagles, dachshunds and cats in the past. I work remotely so I have plenty of time for your fur babies. Walks, play time and lots of love available in our home. No kids, just my wife and myself. If you’d like pictures and videos of your pets throughout their stay and I’m your guy. Large back yard in closed subdivision away from major roads. Plenty of room to roam in the house as well. Crating is not required in our home but available.

About: Hi there, I'm Nichole, and the dog in my profile picture is Chance! She was my best bud for 12 years so senior doggos are my heart! She helped me be familiar with giving oral medication and needing lots of naps and low-key play times! Besides Chance, I’ve had dogs whose ages range from 5 months to 10 years of age, and a variety of different breeds and sizes! I am comfortable with tug of war, playing fetch, or a good snuggle and belly rub. Currently we have two kitties and a doggo that just turned a year and an half (we’re working on behavioral needs with her so I’m very patient!) Are walks your furry best friend's favorite thing to do? Just leave me a note or give me instructions (if needed) in case they are really energetic or have a bigger than life personality so I know what they need. I can of course send pics of your best friend enjoying themselves on our walk, play time or even if they’re snoozing or chowing down on a meal. Do not hesitate to check in either asking how they are! It is my priority to be here while you’re away and to help you feel comfortable with their care even if I am just doing a check in. I know that their mom or dad is the best, but it’s my hope to help them not miss you as much while you're gone so I will make it a fun time for them and love them and care for them like they were my own. As far as how pet care fits into my daily routine, I would be available to walk or do check ins any time after 1 pm Monday-Thursdays and on Fridays anytime after 9 am as I am currently working summer school so have more flexibility in my schedule. Weekends are mostly free for the above mentioned as well as house sitting, I do like to keep some weekends free for a better work life balance though but of course still reach out and we can chat! For house sits I can do up to 4 days unless we’ve spoken of other arrangements; due to family/work life balance I will no longer do more than stated above unless I’ve already had you as a house sitting client prior. With doing house sits during summer I of course will be out of the house still for about 5 hours for working at school so I like to be up front about that but besides running a quick errand I would be back at your house so you can make sure your furry friend is receiving the best care while you’re away! I will care for your pets as if they were family. I will be as hands off or hands on as needed depending on what they like or need. :) I also do have my husband come with me to all meet and greets due to safety reasons. He will not come to the walking or drop ins when being done.

I love all creative pursuits, including writing music for piano and singing. I've always loved all dogs, especially larger breeds (though the smaller pups are super cute and sweet and steal my heart equally!). My pup, Bella, a black lab mix, was a very kind, sweet and gentle dog. She passed in 2016 at age 14, having had a very nice life. I would love to help other fur babies who need caregiving while their humans are away or need a daily walk or check-in. I'm at home working during the week and have access to a wonderful backyard, an amazing neighborhood, and parks nearby. I love all outdoor activities, especially hiking and swimming. Would love to take your pups to the beach or on any sized walk they desire!! :) I offer these services because I love dogs, not to make a living. It's a great win/win to have a sweet fur baby around from time to time. Yes, it's nice to have some extra cash to work on the house, but my primary career more than covers my income needs. I share this info so you can be sure no other dogs will share your pup's time with me.* I keep to a strict policy of one-on-one care and up to two dogs from the same family... if you have more than two, please reach out, and I may be able to make exceptions. My rates reflect this customized care and focus for your sweet puppers! *In mid-2024, I started pairing up dogs that requested having another pup present from a different family. Please let me know if you are open to having a playmate for your pup. If you prefer no other dogs in the home while yours is here with me, I strictly adhere to your preferences and take this quite seriously. I specialize in customized care for dogs with behavioral issues such as not getting along with other dogs. Since my dog passed in 2016, I have been able to devote all my time to your pup when they're in my care. They will be carefully cared for and pampered, with every need catered to. The only thing I won't abide is a pup who isn't house-trained. If your dog/pup has never been left with a sitter before and you'd like to ensure they're a great house guest, I do suggest booking a 1-2 night stay much in advance of your trip so we can see if your pup has any specific issues to call out, and if I'm a good fit for them/you. I have found this to be of great benefit to you and me! I charge a cleaning fee IF your pup has "surprise" issues with incontinence, as this behavior can happen; however, I don't take on dogs with this issue unless we have a solution, like a doggy diaper or pee pads (for puppies). Severe separation anxiety can also be challenging, as my own pup had this issue. If there are situations such as this, I ask that you bring a crate, and the pup must be trained and be OK to be in their crate as needed. If no issues like these exist, they need to have their own bed or spot where they like to sleep. I don't allow dogs to sleep upstairs with me. Snuggling up on the sofa with a couple of pups is one of my favorite things to do. I know most dogs like a comfy bed. As noted above, please bring a fresh bed for your pet, either a cleaned dog bed from home or a new one. I have blankets for the floor and a lovely sofa that I cover with a blanket for the occasional daytime snooze. If you have an elderly dog, I know just what to do to provide the best care. As my dog Bella aged, I learned how to adapt every year. Listening to your dog and providing the best care is my priority. I realized that leaving an ailing or elderly pup in another person's care can be stressful. I would treat your dog like my own and hope to put your mind at rest. I welcome all questions as part of our meet + greet. I only sit for dogs I know or can meet during our meet + greet (unless out-of-town circumstances or timing prevail). I can sit at the last minute only for pups I've sat for previously or know well. If you are traveling from out of town and cannot sync up for a meet + greet, please reach out to discuss your situation. As far as breeds go, I have experience with an extensive range of breeds—larger breeds with special needs like an elevated dog water/food bowl due to how they process food or other breeds that are great with humans and not so wonderful with other dog breeds. I've had great results with training. I have experience with smaller breeds as well. As mentioned, I only sit for house-trained and well-behaved dogs in the home. I book up early... sometimes six months before a planned trip. Please plan ahead to secure your desired dates. I look forward to meeting your amazing pups soon!! Jules I'm home most of the time.
