About: I've been a foster carer for various greyhound organizations here (ATX and DFW) and in Australia. I get the hounds that are cat safe and get them used to living with cats. I'm always fostering, which is why I cannot take in more dogs for sitting, but I can do pop-ins. Before I fostered greyhounds, I used to petsit for friends' parents. I love to scritch ears, make up stupid songs for them, and play on the floor. My current pack consists of two sighthound mixes and two middle-management cats. Am I Katy or Mary? Both. The joy of going by either the first name or the nickname. You can call me Katy. The IRS can keep calling me Mary ... and please, if you're from IRS, don't call me. I am currently working from home and would love the excuse to get out and walk or, when it's really too hot, engage in play in the backyard. I am mindful of the various personalities I could encounter. I understand that not all pets want to play. Some want to chill and know that you're there. Others need to get that energy out. When doing pop ins, I would be mindful of what their humans say.

About: I’ve had animals since I was 10 years old ranging from, dogs, fish, cats, chickens all kinds. I would love to take care of your fur babies and help you out! I can walk any animal weekdays after 6 pm and on the weekends, I can house animals throughout the week but I do have a 9-6 so they will be alone with my own animals during the day except on the weekends I will devote all the special time each animal needs whether that is giving extra play time for the higher energy walks or extra couch time for those home bodies. I have a big backyard completely fenced in.

I’m available Tuesday through Sunday, with full availability on weekends. I work a hybrid schedule, so I’m flexible for weekday visits and able to work from home most days. Mondays are my only limited day due to being in the office part-time. I’m also available for overnight stays with advance notice. I provide pet care in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, medication, and household guidelines.
