“This was our first experience with Rover and with Halle. The ease of booking and communication was very good. While we were away, she communicated with us about how our babies were doing. When we returned home, they both seemed very happy. With no issues. Our house was clean and tidy. We will definitely be rebooking with Halle in the future. I highly recommend her and Rover.”

“Anna did an absolutely wonderful job with our very high energy pup. We were very worried about leaving him alone for a week - and by the time we got home that worry was completely gone. Our buddy was extremely happy when we got home, and Anna didn’t even complain once. I would highly recommend Anna to anyone looking for a professional sitter who you can trust with your most loved animals. We will certainly hire her again (if she’s available)!”

“Chelbi was a very responsible and knowledgeable sitter for my puppy. She sent pictures and kept in contact with any questions or updates. I hope she is available for any future sitting needs we may have! Thank you, Chelbi!!?”

We have had big dogs to very small pets. I have a sister that was a assistant Vet for about 30 years and she has taught me a lot about how to safely care for their health and maintain a good diet and exercise. Love All types of Pets !!! Your pet will be able to run with ours and I take mine outside all throughout the day. If you would prefer them to be created I will provide them with any rules you would normally do at your home. I promise your pet will be loved and cared for as if they were my own.

I’m super reliable, always keep you updated, and make sure your pet gets plenty of love, snuggles, and fun while you’re away! Pet care fits perfectly into my weekly routine! About: I’ve had dogs all my life! I grew up taking turns potty training, walking and trick training our dogs. I also have experience bottle feeding puppies. I have partial experience caring for senior fur babies. I also have partial experience giving oral medication. I know some dogs have their own preferences for medicine taking, whether with cheese, meat or peanut butter. Just let me know what works for them and I’ll do it! We didn’t have our senior dog for very long but I am more than willing to learn what your baby needs and will do whatever it takes to make them happy and comfy! I’m excited to meet, love and care for your pup! I currently work, mostly, full time. Tuesday afternoons and Thursday mornings are my free time during the week, but I am also willing to work before or after work on the other days! Also, my Saturdays are entirely open! I unfortunately cannot offer boarding but I can come to your pet and give them the best care I can! Depending on what your pet needs I can let them out to potty in a fenced yard or I can walk them then crate them after, if called for. I can stay for as long as needed to accommodate their potty break and/or if they need play time or just some company! I will follow whatever schedule you have set up for them!

“Absolutely amazed by Alexis and how well she did. Very professional and had no problem watching our house even with some of the extra tasks asked of her. Ive had sitters in the past but never have I come home to house that felt cleaner than when I left. I appreciated the daily updates and behavioral observations. 10/10 will use her again”

About: Hi! I’ve been dog sitting and caring for homes for over 10 years and truly love what I do. I’m proud to have long-term families who still trust me with their pets, and I currently have more availability to take on new clients. I live in Longview and work full-time as a school counselor, but caring for animals has always been something I’ve done on the side. I’ve had the joy of watching many puppies grow into adult dogs and caring for them throughout their entire lives. I offer walks, medication administration, and can follow any special care routines your pet needs. I’m also happy to help with vet visits, grooming appointments, and anything else that makes your life easier. If you prefer in-home care, I’m very respectful of your space and can also help with light house care while you’re away. Most importantly, I will love and care for your dog like they are my own. I have a consistent routine that allows me to give your pets reliable, attentive care throughout the day. I leave for work early in the morning, so I always make sure your pets are taken out and their full morning routine is completed before I head out. If needed, I’m able to stop by midday for a potty break and quick check-in. I finish work around 3:30–4:00 PM and head straight back, where I’m available for the rest of the evening. This includes walks, dinner, playtime, and just spending quality time with your pet so they feel comfortable and cared for. I always care for pets based on their individual routines and needs, because I know how important consistency is for them. Whether I’m in your home or providing drop-in visits, I aim to keep your pet’s schedule as close to normal as possible. In your home, I follow all feeding schedules, walking routines, and any specific instructions you provide. I make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship, not just the basics. I also keep your home tidy and respected while you’re away. I’m comfortable administering medications, handling special care needs, and caring for pets of all ages, from puppies to senior dogs. I’ve had the privilege of caring for some dogs throughout their entire lives, so I understand how needs can change over time. I also provide updates and communication so you feel at ease knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. My goal is always to make your time away as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet
“Genesis took care of my four dogs, in my home, for a week and did a tremendous job! She’s super sweet and very conscientious. I’ll be using her again! Thank you so much, Genesis!! ❤️”

“Brandi is wonderful - our dogs are a lil needy - one is high strung & constantly jumping, running & needing lots of attention & the other just had knee surgery so he has to be leash walked 4-6 times a day for rehab & potty breaks &&& both dogs take multiple meds several times a day - needless to say there is a serious chart to follow &&& Brandi never missed a beat. We feel very comfortable w Brandi in our home & caring for our beasts :-)”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the energy and presence I bring around animals. I’m naturally calm, patient, and attentive, which helps pets feel safe and comfortable pretty quickly, even if they’re shy or anxious. I’ve spent a lot of time around animals and genuinely enjoy being with them, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just sitting with them and keeping them company. I pay close attention to their behavior and needs, so I can adjust how I care for them based on their personality. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy being around animals and staying active. I structure my schedule so I have the time and flexibility to give each pet the attention and care they need. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine. Whether I’m in your home or caring for them day-to-day, I make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was about 10, I’m 21 now. My major is Pre-Veterinary because I’ve had a love for animals and dream of being a vet since I was 7. I have a cat of my own, Luna, and she’s my world. I treat her like a baby so I would love to share the same love to your fur babies! I work full-time as a manager at Walmart, and I’m a full time college student (online). I’m pretty fair and understanding with scheduling, as long as you reach out in advance. If my schedule doesn’t fit for you, I do not mind adjusting to accommodate you and your fur babies! I also don’t have an issue with last minute planning, just be mindful of scheduling issues or certain questions I asks in regards of the service you’ve requested! When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, and get plenty of exercise and attention throughout the day. I also monitor their behavior to make sure they are happy, healthy, and not feeling stressed while their owner is away. As well as in a clients home, I respect your space and specific instructions on pet care! Ensuring your pets and home’s safety is never an issue.
“Sarah was so attentive with our baby girl. She was a great house guest for 7 days while we were on vacation. She sent updates and pictures which we appreciated. Sarah was excellent with our Marley and I look forward to using Sarah again in the future!”

About: I'm a lover of all animals, willing to accommodate special hours or instructions, if medications are needed I'm comfortable doing that as well. Have been pet sitting for 10+ years and have yet to meet a dog/pet I don't adore? I'm willing to work with anyone's pet and meet them beforehand to make sure they feel comfortable with me. A pet should always come first so I would want to make sure I can accommodate their needs. I'm a firm believer in in also having a healthy relationship with pet parents and most certainly encourage any questions to make sure your pet and I both be comfortable each other before accepting any job. Please feel free to contact me, I'll answer any questions about myself and background as well as provide references. I am currently a part-time student so my schedule can work around yours. I set my school hours accordingly, therefore it doesn't interfere with the care of your pet. Patience goes a long way when it comes to establishing a connection with a pet. Pets are attached to their owners and some can become sensitive or withdrawn to new people. It's up to me to form a bond with all pets. Most pets I have come across form relationships easily, however there are cases where pets may come with a past. Such as being rescues whose previous owners didn't treat them well . In such cases lots of love, attention and patience would be given on my part to ensure that your pet feels safe.

FAQs for House Sitting - Kelsey
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 102 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Kelsey. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Kelsey walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Kelsey maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Kelsey choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
