About: NOTE: I work weekdays throughout the school year. Still available, but pets will be at home without me on weekdays for about 7 hours. I have owned and cared for dogs for over 25 years. I have cared for small dogs <25 pounds all the way up to large sized Great Danes > 200 pounds. I have been fostering dogs for Safe Paws Iowa for the past 3 years. I am available for a large portion of the summer because I only coach softball outside of the school year. I am very active and would love to share that energy with dogs! Walking, jogging, or just playing in the doggy pool is no issue at all. I currently have two dogs of my own. They can play all together or be kept separated! I also have experience giving dogs meds as some of the dogs in my care have different long term conditions. Can’t wait to meet your precious pups! Please contact me if you have any remaining questions! I am mostly free over the summer and weekends. I run errands or make plans outside of when I’m taking care of pets. Pet care is my priority while hosting! I have a fenced in yard, my own dogs to join in play if wanted, I have gates/doors and a finished lower level where I can separate dogs if need be, and have multiple kennels. I allow my dogs on furniture, but can follow owner house rules.

About: I have had pets in my life since the day I was born. I got my first cat when I was 3 and have had many more since then. :) Caring for my pets has become something that I have worked on and improved over the years - and I love meeting new pets! I own my own business that is run from my home and a downtown location - just three blocks from my home. :) My husband runs our household and is home or helping me daily. We have a fenced in yard that is big enough for the dogs to run laps - and three other dogs who adapt well to having friends over. :)

About: I am a homeschool mom. I have had several dogs over the last 26 years from blue heelers, labradors, a lab/dane mix and most recently an Australian Shepherd. I've house-broken and crate trained all my puppies and we also adopted an adult rescue dog and acclimated him to family life. I've taken different obedience courses over the years and most recently am working on Rally Obedience with my aussie. My family, which includes my husband and two teenage daughters love dogs of all sizes and ages. I’ve got a very large fenced in back yard, a fun loving Aussie, and am home most of the time to give your fur baby lots of love and attention. I have recent experience in dog obedience and have house-trained puppies. I love to walk dogs and give them lots of attention. Because I homeschool, most days I am home and able to attend to dog or puppy care. Our two year old Aussie loves to play with other dogs and has earned his CGC-A. Backyard play or leash walking would be part of your pets care. On occasion we may go to a park and our dog often accompanies us. I have a large fenced in yard with lots of shade and green space to run around in. I have crates of various sizes to keep your dog safe and comfortable at night, when we leave for an errand or to retreat to as needed.

Growing up with dogs, I have years of firsthand experience in caring for them, from feeding and grooming to basic training, and being CPR & FIRST AID Certified making me the perfect fit for any medical emergency that might occur. My passion for animals extends beyond my own pets—I am dedicated to ensuring every animal in my care feels safe, loved, and well-attended to. I prioritize meeting each pet’s needs, including feeding, providing fresh water, regular potty breaks, and plenty of playtime. I understand that every pet has its own personality and requirements, and I take the time to ensure they are comfortable, happy, and treated with kindness. I’m majoring in Animal Ecology and this summer I have online classes so I will be more available than I am in fall, winter, and spring. On weekends, I travel home to care for my family’s animals, further reinforcing my commitment to animal welfare. I love to make sure that your pet feels at home even when away from home, I can mimic your daily schedule as best as possible and provide as many or as little updates as you wish! Whether it's every other day or every hour, I'll make it happen. There's no smoking or any sort of paraphernalia allowed in my home, as my family has a history of health issues.

About: I love animals! I was the go to neighborhood pet sitter as a kid, and have enjoyed so many dogs and cats over the years. I'm a stay at home mom to older children. I love walks and enjoy the challenge to wear high energy dogs out in all seasons! I will follow your specific care and/or exercise instructions to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible and well loved while you are away.

About: My pets are indoors AND outside because I have safe, pet friendly, separated or joined, sheltered, natural areas where we can all unwind on my seven acres. I'm a retiree who devotes all my time to my grandkids, animals and hobbies. Your pets' needs are provided for at all times whether they are here for a day, week or month as they are included in our family activities. Pets are kept separated or allowed to play together depending on their needs. I provide crates, mats, kennels and even my bed for peaceful sleeping.

About: I have spent a lot of time caring for puppies and senior animals and everything in between. I enjoy the differences in all different animals. I am currently not working during the weekends and am free to spend lots of time with your pets. We love to be active and to cuddle whichever your pet enjoys. I have a 6 foot privacy fenced backyard and a friendly 3 year old boxer. My cats do their own thing and have little interest in other animals.

About: My husband and I have 8 Huskies that we have rescued. I have a ton of patience and lots of love. Your dog will be considered as part of our pack. I will be the one taking care of your baby. I work at a hospital 4 days a week. Our dogs are kenneled for their safety while I'm at work. They are fed twice a day (morning and night) and walked 2 miles a day We do not have a fenced in yard, but we do have tie outs so your dog will be safe. They are allowed on the furniture and we have a full basket of bones and toys to share.

About: I want to be a dog sitter to be able to help fur parents enjoy their vacations. As a dog mom I know the stress of trying to find the right person to take care of your dog while you are away. I know the value that comes with the piece of mind that your dog is going to be taken care of in the same way you would. I have had animals my whole life, I grew up around them. My parents allowed me a cat at first so I could learn responsibility. I have not professionally pet sat, but I have pet sat for people I know when they need to be away. The thing that would set me apart from other sitters is that I promise to make sure that you do not worry about the care your dog is receiving while you are away. I am willing to send any updates you would like. I know I always enjoy receiving a "doggy-update" from the person that is taking care of my dogs. A normal day in my house would be, wake up, go outside and potty and then have breakfast. I usually have my coffee and cuddle time the dogs then. We catch up on tv shows.After that is done we go outside and "work" in the yard (aka mom pulls weeds or picks up sticks and the dogs watch). We play fetch and if the weather is really nice I will read outside while the dogs sun bathe. In the evening we will eat dinner and then watch some reality tv before going to bed. I live in the country so we have plenty of room to run around. However, I am on the Dog Park Committee and know the benefits of going to the Dog Park. There is also a bike trail in town that is good for leashed walks. I work full time in an office nearby. My schedule is flexible. I will only take dogs at my house when I am home on the weekends so I can ensure the dog has a great time. Since I will only watch dogs at my house on the weekends I will be able to spend the entire weekend with the dogs. I do have FIVE dogs. They LOVE other dogs and enjoy playing. They are all fixed and not aggressive at all (not even with food or toys). I love dogs. I have three dogs and they are treated as if they are my kids. I understand the anxiety of trying to find someone "worthy" to look after your dogs while you are away. I will treat your fur children just as I treat mine. With the love and attention they desire :) I have "high energy" breed of dogs so I know the importance of making sure they do not get bored. I also have experience with rescued dogs that maybe shy or timid with strangers. During the weekend we are super flexible on schedule and my schedule revolves around my fur kids! During the week I’m only available after work. We have a small fenced in area and a dog door so the dogs can come and go. However we live on acreage so dogs that need a little more room to run can go on walks (we live down a dead end road).

About: I've always been fascinated by canine behavior and have tried to learn all I can about training methods of all kinds. I loved to walk with my dog and train her to do tricks and how to behave around the house. Although she was about 65 pounds, I taught her how to act gently around my 3-year-old nephew. Sadly, she passed away a few months ago. I want to continue to share the knowledge and techniques I've learned while exploring the great outdoors with furry friends of all sorts. Beyond my own dog, I have some experience with dogs of all ages, shapes, and sizes. I have also done grooming like combing, bathing, tooth brushing, and nail clipping. The bottom line is that I am happy to do whatever care your companion needs. :)

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life and use to dog sit for months at a time . I love the all the different breed and sizes of dogs and know how to care for them well. I currently work part time so we have plenty of time to take care of your little babies when you’re unable to! I am great at helping and following directions. I have no fences but will walk dog on leash if that what is needed I have one nice dog named simba and a cat who runs the house named keems who both love other animals .

About: I've been an animal lover since childhood. If I can't adopt each one, at least I can provide a safe, playful, and loving temporary environment I am a stay at home mom which means I am available for your fur baby days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. About: I am here to provide stress free care for your fur (or no fur) babies! I have taken care of all kinds of pets including keeping track of medicine. I am a stay at home mom which provides me the flexibility to be available all day and night. I am a light sleeper incase you fur babies need company over night. I have a finished basement that is pet free incase your fur babies don’t like other pets, otherwise our upstairs has a cat, dog, and bearded dragon to keep your pets company!

About: I love dogs so much, I got paw prints tattooed on my wrist! I am only working part time at the moment, so I am extremely flexible with meeting the special needs of your furry friend. I have been caring for family fur babies ever since I can remember. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, pigs, horses, snakes, tarantulas—if you can own it, I have fed, watered, and loved it at some point! It wasn’t until I moved away that I realized how much I miss having that in my life. About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, horses for over 40 years I love all types of animals. In addition I have a variety of wildlife I feed all year long. I’m home all-day long so, lots of time to love on your animals while you are away. We can go on walks then nap on the couch. I live in the country so lots of room for them to play, or have time to hangout at your familiar home with them as needed.
