“Christina was amazing!! Our little Charlie has had a tough few months since he lost his sister. It’s been quite an adjustment for him and when we would leave him, he would be so sad all the time. Christina did a drop in with him, and when we came home, he was a happy boy. She communicated very well with us, and when he met her for the first time he fell in love. I totally recommend her!!”

About: I have owned dogs and cats for my entire life, so I know the day-to-day treatment that they need. I have also done sitting for neighbors, friends, and family. Professionally, I did animal care for various species of reptiles, amphibians, and fish, so I understand that every animal has different requirements and routines! I’m a natural caregiver and would love to make your pet feel loved and safe. I’m a recent college graduate living at home until I start my master’s program in August! I would love to fill all of this free time by spending it with animals. I am willing to care for pets as needs by each individual! I can pop in for 10 minutes a day or I can stay for a couple hours to give your pet the attention that he/she needs. I will do the basics (feeding, taking outside for bathroom, playing), but I can also administer medication and go for walks!

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats! I have a car so I can drive as much as needed and I am responsible AND dependable. I am very flexible with time and days, multiple times a day if needed! Please just let me know what your pet needs and what you usually do! I want to keep your pets comfort table and safe. I will keep a close watch on them and make them feel loved and cared for!

“Elioenia was INCREDIBLE! She took us on with very short notice and was everything I could have hoped. Very communicative, an absolute pleasure to work with, and everything is perfect. She even brought in packages and pulled the trash cans up. The biggest thing though- the first night we were away there were some nervous stomachs apparently and our big dog had a very big, nasty accident on the carpet. If I didn’t know about it, I wouldn’t be able to find the spot. She cleaned it all up and shampooed that area. WAY above and beyond what could ever be expected and I don’t know what I could possibly say that would express my gratitude fully. Thank you, thank you, thank you Elioenia 🙏🏻.”

“Tracy is so awesome, in fact I think Banner likes Tracy more than he likes me now. The updates I get while I'm at work are so reassuring and just make my day. I highly recommend and appreciate Tracy.”

“Wes is fantastic. My dog Sam really enjoys his visits and spending time with the other dogs Wes cares for. It's been a really good experience with Wes! Thank you.”

“Natalie is 5 Stars amazing! We came home to 3 tiny pups who were wore out from the fun and love Natalie brings with her. I felt she listened to what I had to say to make me feel better even though this chick knows her stuff!!! Our dogs loved her and I think disappointed when they saw it was us coming home and not her!!”

About: I’ve taken care of my aunt’s dog since I was little and then briefly lived with one until he passed. I was in charge of walking and feeding them and both dogs absolutely adored me. Now as I’ve grown up, my favorite animals are still dogs but I unfortunately don’t have any and I have the cutest little kitties. Hoping to get my serotonin boost from hanging out with your pups instead! I’m currently studying so I’m available for onboarding any day you need me to! I’m free to watch over them and make sure their needs are met since I am home all day typically. My yard isn’t fenced fully but it is mostly and your fur baby will have all the space to run around. I will be home all day to keep them company and make sure they’re happy.

About: I have a calm and peaceful presence that animals respond to almost immediately. You have seen it, some people just seem to be gifted at calming animals down when no one else can. I am delighted to say animals and I just seem to understand each other. I have a genuine love for all animals and they can feel this. This is especially true with dogs, horses, cats, and tame birds. I've never had a time when I didn't have animals, and I'd be delighted to care for yours like my own. I prefer to meet with you and your pets before your scheduled appointment so that you don't feel like you're leaving your animals and house with a stranger and so your animals and I get to meet prior to you leaving them in my care, so that we can help release any sense of abandonment issues they may have. I work a 9-5 job during the week, but I am able to leave and visit your home as needed for potty breaks and to provide lots of love and attention. I only watch pets in your home, so they know that you are only temporarily away and they still feel safe and secure in their own environment. My hope is this also helps you feel separation anxiety a little less, knowing your pets are happy and frolicking in an environment that you are very familiar with. I want you to enjoy your time away, knowing your pets and house are well loved and cared for. This includes me taking care of your house, plants, mail, putting the trash bins out, doing potty patrol of the yard and cleaning the litter box. I'm very detail oriented and follow instructions well. I do my very best to give you your house better than you left it and to remove all traces of me having been there, so you don't have to come home and worry about cleaning up. I understand what it is like to have to leave your pets behind and will contact you with pictures as often as you would like, so you know everything is going fine! Every pet is different and wonderful and I adapt to each and everyone's needs. If this includes them sleeping beside me or me waking up every two hours for a potty break, then you can know that is what is being done. I have been a house and pet sitter for many years, but have only recently started offering my services on Rover. I have undergone an extensive background check so you can know your pets and belongings are safe in my care. I look forward to meeting you and your pets to make sure we are a great fit together!

“Amara was great with my pets! They always seemed very content in the pictures and videos that Amara sent me while I was away on vacation. Amara was also very flexible and patient and very kind. My pets definitely seemed to love her! 😊”

About: I’ve grown up with pets all my life and have house sat and pet sat for many people over the years! I will even water plants! I am a student athlete at Cal Baptist University. Therefore, my schedule can be either super flexible or all over the place but I love working with people and getting to know all sorts of pets. I have a lot of free time in between practices and classes along with a lot of free time in the evenings and I’m up very early I am a very very clean person and when I am in others homes I am a guest so I do my best to leave the place looking better than when I got there!

2. Ellie C.
“We moved here from Brazil in 2022 and didn't know anyone. But we needed help with our dog, Nala. We contacted Ellie and she responded right away. She was dependable and experienced and kept in communication with us as we had asked. Nala is a large dog that is difficult to walk because she can get overly excited. But Ellie had no problems with her. In fact, Nala seemed disappointed when we got home and she didn't get to see Ellie anymore. Ellie knows a lot about animal care and is willing to tailor her approach to each animal's individual needs. She provides doggie massage and mental games for the dog, as well as lots of cuddling and love. She is truly the best pet sitter we have ever known.”

3. Jenna L.
“Jenna is a dependable and responsible pet caregiver. She enthusiastically interacts with pets and is willing to provide whatever care is requested . After our vacation we came home to a clean environment and happy dogs . It was obvious she took good care of our fur babies . We would hire her anytime .”

9. Tricia P.
“Oh, Tricia is simply amazing, almost beyond words! I believe the best way to explain is to tell our story. Tricia was a neighbor I knew from watching her walk all kinds of dogs and she would always stop at my fence with the dogs when my Dalila was in the yard. Dalila is my King Charles Cavalier, she had no doggie companions and loved to great the neighborhood dogs. I had never had a doggie birth before and my vet kept reassuring me that I really didn't need to do anything when time came Dalila would naturally know what to do, but it seemed that it was taking too long and Dalila seemed to be distress. I didn't want to move her by myself, but I heard Tricia coming by with the dogs and rushed out to ask for help carrying Dalila to the car. Tricia quickly put the dogs in my fenced backyard and came inside. She checked Dalila out and asked me some questions. She assured me that yes Dalila was indeed in labor and showed me how I could feel her contractions. She told me that Dalila was doing just great and since she wasn't damp from sweating, her breathing was heavy, but not not unusually so, that she was just in labor not in distress. She said she would happily help me carry her to the car, but that the moving and veterinarian trip could put her distress. The whole time she was talking with me she was petting Dalila and Dalila was laying there and seemed much calmer, where before she kept moving around. I told Tricia that I would give it a little more time. She asked me to sit where she was and to talk to Dalila while petting her and that she would drop off the dogs and return within 15 minutes. I was feeling much calmer and could tell Dalila was too. Dalila still hadn't had a pup by the time Tricia returned and I was getting worried again. Once again Tricia gently touched Dalila's belly. She said that she believed we would have a pup very soon. She wasn't wrong, Dalila gave birth to 3 pups over the next two hours. Tricia stayed with me until we were pretty sure Dalila was done. Tricia seemed to have a wonderful calming affect on both Dalila and myself. Tricia tried explaining that Dalila was just stressed, because I was and because this was her first litter and that Dalila had calmed down, because I had. I told her that I think she just has a magical touch with people and animals. We have all become good friends since then and I'm just so grateful for Tricia's calm nature!”

“Hailey is a great choice for your pet! She has been caring for dogs, cats and fish her entire life. She will give your pet lots of love and special attention. Once while dog-sitting for me, she discovered that my pooch had excessively licked a spot on her leg causing a wound-something I had not yet noticed. You can leave your pet in her care with confidence.”
