About: My name is Melissa and I have taken care of animals since my first dog in second grade. I previously had a Labrador and Shih-Tzu who both lived until old age. I also fostered older dogs who could not find homes due to their age. I currently have a one year old yellow lab mix. He’s dog and cat friendly. In order to board your dog, your dog must be dog friendly. I also require a meet and greet to ensure it’s a good fit. I offer boarding in my home. I live in a second story apartment in an old building with a large yard. There is a picture of my apartment located within my pictures. I only board one animal at a time as it's a one bedroom apartment. It allows me to spend quality time with your pet! For boarding I do provide food dishes and toys, but many animals prefer to have some of their own. I also have a medium sized dog crate if required and requested. I have open availability on weekends, however I work from home on weekdays and there may be times I need to be out of my home for up to three hours. I have a camera in my home and will be able to remotely check on your pet if I need to be away for work. I will always inform you prior to the booking if I have appointments out of the home. I am experienced feeding animals in a variety of ways and will follow your instructions on feeding and walking. I ensure animals are well cared for, played with, and that they receive the attention and care needed.

About: I've helped take care of dogs ever since I was five years old. I was relied on in my family to feed, walk, and give emotion care to our various dogs over the years. I've helped to take care of small dogs and very large dogs. I currently work as a middle school teacher, so I would be available to take care of your dog in the evenings and on the weekends. I have a large shared backyard that could be used to throw a ball of frisbee with dogs. My house is close to the Burlington Bike Path which would allow for easy access to walk. My apartment is also spacious enough for your pet to be able to roam or big enough to accommodate a crate if needed.

About: I grew up on a small hobby farm with goats, chickens, horses, dogs and cats. When I was younger I helped train 2 Border Collie/Australian Sheppard mix puppies. I have a good sense of what animals need and am very patient and loving with all animals. I have a infant daughter who will be accompanying me with most my drop in visits. She will be in a backpack while I take care of your furry friend. I am available most mornings, nights and weekends. I love being outside and love being around animals. I am active, friendly, and responsible. I can't wait to take care of your pet and give it love and attention. Looking forward to meeting you and your pet! I am flexible! I have little ones (2 young daughters) but they will be able to come with me on occasion and they are also pet lover themselves. I have a fenced in yard if needed and love going on long walks and hikes. We would get lots of play time in and happy to bring my dog along for companion if wanted.

About: I've taken care of neighbors cats and dogs since middle school in my hometown. I've grown up with pets my whole life and greatly understand their needs and the responsibilities associated with pet care. I’m a clear and responsive communicator and will always listen to how you want your pet cared for. I also enjoy going for runs and hikes, so if your dog has a lot of energy, we will get along well! I’m excited to meet your pet(s)! I am able to do overnights with pets and can visit them during mornings, midday, and nights. I can take last minute bookings. I work a flexible schedule during the week. I make sure to assess the comfortability of the animal before settling into the house. I try to keep it a quiet atmosphere until the animal feels comfortable being around me. I make sure that they are my priority and I give them full attention given that they're most likely stressed. About: I’ve helped take care of my family’s Australian Labradoodle, Penny, ever since we got her, 5 years ago. In these past couple years I’ve facilitated dozens of “doggy play dates” (communal dog walking and play time at dog parks and backyards) with dogs of all different sizes. I am very comfortable and confident with all types of dogs, and often dog sit and dog walk for friends and neighbors when they are out of town. I currently live in Burlington and am free on weekends and after 5pm MWF and after 6pm Tuesday and Thursday. I am able to spend as much time as needed with your pets if it makes you, or them, more comfortable! I’m comfortable caring for pets in new environments. I can crate, feed, walk, and play with your animals, and will be clean and respectful to your space and home.

About: I have experience with cows, horses, dogs, cats, pigs, Guinea pigs, fish, chickens etc from basic feeding and cleaning to much more depending on needs I am currently working part time, and am self employed. I am willing to discuss flexibility to accommodate needs of clients, homes and their pets! I adapt to the needs of my clients and the surrounding. About: I’ve had 15 + years working in animal rescue and have always had dogs and cats from childhood. My pets are my babies and I’d love to provide the same care yours in their own space when you have to be away. I currently work from home with a very flexible schedule so it’s easy for me to adjust to provide for your pets comfort with multiple visits as needed.. I can provide multiple short walks or one long one. My own dogs love a 1.5 hour mid day hike which we can include your dog on if he/she is friendly with others.

About: I’m a fur mama of one 85lb , 3 year old mush who is hyper, energetic , and very needy. I love taking him on walks, to the beach, and anywhere he can go to get his energy out. My fiancé and I are planning our dream wedding and I would love to offer pet care in your house ( or mine if your dog or dog friendly) . About: Hi! I'm an experienced house and petsitter who truly loves the animals in my care. I've watched pets for many friends and families. I discovered my love of animals while living in Australia when I was asked to live in a family friend's home for six months to watch their aging border collie and cat. I then became a daily dog walker for a yellow lab while her primary caretaker was working; I have also looked after a rat terrier, an Irish terrier, and three labradoodles with regularity. I was a Canine Companion at my local SPCA, having completed a thorough training program there, as well as a volunteer with the local ambulance corps. I have had great experiences with dogs and cats of many different breeds and ages and I look forward to meeting your furry friends! What sets me apart is the amount of time your pets get with me. About: I've owned a dog ever since I was 12 years old. Dogs have gotten me through the best and worst parts of my life. I have a background in physical therapy and massage and for years I enjoyed bringing my dog to work every day, she became the nursing home mascot, seeing the joy she brought to both my patients and coworkers made every day at work a great day :). I work in Saranac Lake and Lake Placid as an independent contractor. My work schedule/hours can be very flexible/adjusted accordingly as long as I have advanced notice to plan accordingly. I live on 4.5 acres with a long driveway set back from the road. My property backs up to a wooded trail network. I also have a very large, gated Freedom Fenced in dog play area on my property. Dogs are free to all areas of home without restriction. Unfortunately, my husband and I are allergic to cats so I am unable to board them. I do have a 3 year old daughter, so if boarding, pet must be good around children. I also do not board or provide in home services for dogs that are exposed to smoking or vaping of any kind. Please note; when providing pet care services, I will never leave a dog unsupervised, or under the care of anyone other than myself.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. Recently I worked at a Doggy Day Care where I ensured the safety of over 20 dogs by myself at a given time. I promise to love and take care of your dog like they were my own Open schedule. Weekends and weekdays acceptable. Overnights, one dog at a time. My focus will be solely on your dog.
