“Kate was a great choice for our dog while visiting the area. She always responded back very promptly and immediately put me at ease when I dropped off Alta. Alta had a fun day playing with her dogs. She took her for a great walk and sent lots of pictures! I would definitely recommend her.”

“Jessica and her family were lifesavers! They took our two dogs last minute and loved on them so well. They did such a good job of integrating our dogs and sending lots of pictures during their stay. Our dogs came back so happy.”

“Laura and Bill were great hosts and really made us feel comfortable about leaving our dog with them for the weekend. They made sure to have us inside to meet and greet and asked all about Mabel's specific needs and habits. She got lots of playtime while she was with them and seemed right at home! Laura and Bill sent plenty of photos and updates throughout the weekend too. We will definitely bring Mabel back next time were headed to Maine.”

“Rebecca was amazing! We had so many issues with our transportation and ended up having to drop-off and pick-up and different times. She was so understanding and flexible. Our dog Pepper can be very stressed and particular when we are apart, but she had such a great time with Rebecca! Would 100% book again next time we are in Maine!”

“We were so lucky to find Emily to care for our dog, Sonny, while we hiked the Lake of the Clouds Hut in August. From the moment we arrived, we knew he was in the best hands. Emily has a warm, welcoming home with plenty of outdoor space for dogs to play and explore. She took Sonny on walks, played ball with him, and even brought him swimming—which he loved! Emily kept us updated regularly with messages and photos, giving us complete peace of mind. It’s clear she genuinely loves dogs and treats them like her own. Sonny was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and we would absolutely trust Emily with him again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for loving, attentive care for their dog.”

About: I grew up with dogs, since I can remember, I was watching all of my neighbors dogs before I was even old enough to work. I have no problem, administrating medication‘s, or even giving them a bath or doing their nails. I love animals so much that one day I hope to grow up and have a big piece of land so that I can hold a sanctuary for all the animals I can give a good home too and rehabilitate. This is my full-time job watching your loved ones and helping out in anyway I can so I am fully and completely at your disposal. I have an un fence yard currently so unless you’re comfortable with having them be off the leash I’ll take them for a walk or to a dog park with your permission. I don’t mind animals on my furniture, but if I were in your home and that’s not cool with you, just let me know. All I wanna do is provide comfort and enjoyment while giving you the ability to relax knowing your pet is in good hands.

“Eliot was wonderful! My Stella is a rescue dog and she was so understanding of that. I truly appreciate the fact that Stella gets anxious with crates and she let her sit on the couch with her and sleep with her. If you’re looking for a kind, caring and truly wonderful person for your fur baby, Eliot is it!”

About: Dogs and cats love my hands-on, dependable care. Whether it’s timely feeding, active walking, tossing a frisbee or tennis ball or a soothing snuggle, your beloved dog will love to see me. You can rest easy knowing your companion is in good hands. I am available for overnight sits with advance notice as well as drop-in visits. Weekdays I can drop in as well as evening visits. I am also available for walks. Please note if you are farther than 15 miles from Bridgton, I will require reimbursement for fuel expenses. I am able to care for small dogs in my home but prefer to care for pets in your home due to restrictions in my HOA.

About: 🐾 Need a place for your furry friends to hang for the day? Overnight care? Visiting the area and want a safe place to leave your dog for an afternoon of two? Going on vacation? Regular day care while you are at work? Playtime and exercise? Walking and check/ins? I can do that! 💕 I currently have one 30lb lab mix, Ruby, who is a year old- she is very sweet- loves other dogs and people! 🐾 We go on at least one long walk in the woods on our property every day- sometimes adventuring to the river for a dip, or out on the local, less-popular hiking trails. We know all the secret spots ; ) 💕 I love having a little dog pack around, and love watching them play and run together. I believe in providing plenty of outdoor time for playing, sniffing, exploring, listening to nature, or sitting in the sun- whatever your dog needs to be happy! I will meet them where they are at to ensure they are comfortable in a new environment. Leashes will be used until we are sure it’s fine to take them off. 🐾 Trained in basic doggie 101-we usually have basic manners and recall in practice for healthy treats and affection-especially for puppies- and can provide a crate, comfy couch or bed if your pup needs a space to retreat. 💕 My only requirement for care in my home is that your dog must get along with other dogs and cats. I will gate the stairs to keep some separation, so if your dog is “cat curious” but intimidating, they will all have their own space to relax. 🌟 Local residents of Chatham, Conway and Fryeburg looking for regular care (3 or more days a week) please reach out about joining the “Wolf Pack” for discounts/ local rates! 🌟 🐾 I work from home mostly, and have a flexible schedule. Pet care is perfect for my lifestyle! 🌲 We are outside a ton- gardening, hiking, xc skiing, swimming- adventuring on our property and in the surrounding National Forest. 🐾 I would prefer dogs that are good off-leash and have good social skills- I will always keep your dog on leash if I feel they are not okay otherwise. I only take 3 at a time the most, in-addition to my own pup. We live on a very private property with an open yard offering plenty of space to run and play. We have a comfy animal-friendly couch and a screened-in porch with a queen-size bed for your pups to nap outside without being “loose”. I have one pup who will be happy to keep your pup company! They will be able to go in and out freely in a natural home setting, (as long as they are okay off leash) and your dog will be cared for like our own. If I visit your home, I would typically have my dog with me to play with yours- unless you specify otherwise. Each visit would be an hour of play and affection, outdoor time, feeding, water, etc.

“Amazing as always! And our puppy intro of Kiva is going perfectly! I can't wait for her to start :) Although I need to run it by Bagheera as she will be crashing his party!!!”

“Grace was fantastic! She watched our boy for our wedding weekend and sent us pictures through the weekend and even brought him to us at our venue to get pictures with us. She made sure she had all of the info she needed and had us meet the other pups our dog would be with for the weekend before hand to make sure everyone was comfortable and the dogs would get along. Our dog is our world and we are particular about who we leave him with and we will definitely be having Grace watch him in the future!”

About: For over two years, my life has been a revolving door of furry faces, wagging tails, and the occasional purr-fect cuddle. Fostering animals isn't just a hobby; it's a heartfelt commitment to providing temporary homes and endless love to those who need it most. I have three days off each week, and am busy with weddings on weekends usually! I am completely free when it’s my time with your animals and will help in anyway I can to help them feel comfortable and accommodated for. I’m happy to do weekly check in’s and care! Caring for pets, whether in my home or yours, is my passion. With over two years of fostering experience, I've developed a keen understanding of each animal's unique needs and quirks. My approach combines a nurturing environment with a focus on their individual well-being, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and stimulated.

I care for pets at White Mountain Dawg Barn like they are my own. Each dog has an individual kennel to relax and sleep after going out in rotating small playgroups or a one on one hike.

About: 12+ years of professional experience boarding and training dogs of all ages, breeds and temperaments. Dogs stay in our brand new kennel attached to our home and are treated like our own. I am a full time dog trainer and boarding business owner. My facility is currently being built which is attached to our home. Until then, dog guests get to stay in our home. I work from home and typically don’t leave the house for more than a few hours at a time if I have errands to run. I have 5x5 kennels and crate options for dogs to sleep in over night. Owners are welcome to provide anything they think their dog might like while here. I have a fenced in yard, large field and trails on my property for walking through the woods. I have experience working with dogs of all ages, breeds and temperaments. Dogs have different opportunities for enrichment including individual walks/play time, puzzle games, running in the fenced in yard, swimming in our pool, hikes in the woods, toys, fetch, etc.

About: I have been pet sitting for a long time now and even made it my summer job in college. My goal is to give your pet plenty of love and attention to make them feel comfortable. I have a 2 year old mini schnauzer who loves all dogs of all sizes and he will make sure your pet has plenty of play time that when you get home they are tired. I work fully remote so I am always home. I have a yard out front and then snowmobile trails behind my apartment where we can go for long walks. I work fully remote from home and will always be around :) I am usually up around 6:30 am and go to bed around 10/10:30 pm I offer a lot of love and attention to all pets. I love taking my dog out a few times a day and make sure he gets at least a couple long walks. I have a living room for them to play or my yard out front is just as great. My doors are always closed and I live in a safe area of Fryeburg and live on a dead end road. I promise your animal will get more attention not just from me but from my dog.

“Shane works at our local doggie daycare and he’s wonderful. I would absolutely trust him with my dog any time.”

“Dependable, caring and respectful! Christina will treat your animal(s) as her own. So much experience and education in dog behavior and training. I would highly recommend her to anyone.”

Ashley G.
“Ashley is a colleague of mine whom I've known for 2 years. I have seen first hand her love for dogs, and the respect she has for them. She is the most organized person I know, so if you give her special instructions on your pet's specific needs, she will honor them completely. Her home is warm and inviting, with plenty of access to areas for dog-walking and playing. She has done pet-sitting for the dogs of several of our colleagues, and they all are extremely excited when she can care for their pets. Your dog will love his or her time with Ashley (and Brady).”
Kearsarge dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kate & John were amazing with my dad’s dog, Walter! He is an anxious boy, and they made sure he felt at home, and got him settled right in. Their dogs, Theo and Luna, were very friendly and welcomed him with happy tails and they had a lot of fun together. They took him on adventures to a brook, walking trails and lots of playing fetch. They were very responsive and communicative which put my nervous dad at ease and he was able to enjoy his vacation worry free. It is very apparent that this family enjoys welcoming other dogs into their home and caring for them, we highly recommend Kate & John!
