“Had to find a sitter for my cat last minute and Taylor was quick to respond and made the time to meet me and my cat before I had to leave. She was communicative and made me feel comfortable leaving my little guy for a weekend. Will use again!”

“Sara has been an absolute god send! She was my 7 year old Golden Retrievers sitter for 5 days while I was out of town. She always sent photos of their walks and visits, let me know how each visit went and was always punctual. Echo loved her too! It’s always hard leaving town but she really took my stress/anxiety level from a 10 down to a 2. She went above and beyond! We love Sara and can’t recommend her enough. We definitely will contact her for our sitter/walker needs in the future.”

“I can’t recommend Karly enough! My cat is usually shy, but she’s clearly so comfortable around her! You can see it in every video and picture she sends. I really appreciate the constant photo updates, which give me total peace of mind while I’m away. It’s obvious she always makes sure my cat is happy, safe, and well cared for!”

“Kendra was wonderful with a last minute request to let our pups out while we were both at work. She sent the best pics and videos to update us throughout our long 12 hour shifts away.”

I truly have a love and passion for animals, and thought this could be a great way to dive even further into it! I am currently doing Rover full-time as I am a college student at UNK! About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, personalities, and needs. Growing up, I helped care for my senior dog who was blind and diabetic, giving me experience administering insulin injections, providing daily support, and helping dogs navigate their environment safely and comfortably. I am comfortable giving medications, including pills and other oral medications, and have experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I grew up with Australian Heelers and raised several of them from puppyhood, giving me experience with puppy care, crate training, and managing high-energy breeds. I also enjoy taking active dogs on walks, runs, and hikes to help them stay physically and mentally stimulated. In addition to my personal experience, I have volunteered at local animal shelters and have worked with livestock, including pigs and horses. These experiences have taught me patience, responsibility, and how to confidently care for animals with different temperaments and needs. Whether your pet needs a walking buddy, extra playtime, medication administration, or gentle care during their senior years, I will treat them like family and provide dependable, compassionate care while you're away. I am currently a graduate student at UNMC in Kearney, Nebraska, with a flexible schedule thanks to my online coursework. This allows me to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet care throughout the day, including many weekdays and weekends. I grew up surrounded by animals, including dogs, cats, and even pigs, and I have three energetic and lovable Australian Heelers back home in Arizona. Caring for animals has always been a part of my life, and pet sitting gives me a great opportunity to stay connected to animals while I'm away from my own. As a former Division I softball player at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, I love being active and spending time outdoors. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, hikes, or simply some extra attention during the day, I'm happy to provide the exercise, companionship, and care they need. With my flexible schedule and lifelong experience with animals, I am committed to providing dependable, attentive care for every pet I meet. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I understand that every pet has different needs, so I take the time to learn their schedule, personality, and any special care instructions before providing care. In a client's home, I strive to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible by following feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions, and any household rules. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and companionship while ensuring your pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, and pets with medical needs, including administering medications and insulin injections. I am also experienced with crate training and understand the importance of creating a safe and positive environment for pets when their owners are away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
“Jamie is the best!! She has play dates and sends pics to us from home. Our dogs have so much fun with her…she spoils them and we couldn’t ask for a better sitter to leave our fur babies with!!!”

About: I've had pets all my life. I've watched over animals for family members and friends, and worked as a dogsitter for 2 years. I've taken care of dogs, cats, and everything inbetween. I am avaliable nearly every day and will be more than happy to take care of your furry family member. The only exceptions are on holidays. There is nothing I love more than playing or cuddling with animals. I have plenty of experience calming my own and other peoples' pets during stressful situations, such as during fireworks. Just let me know what your pet likes and I am willing to provide. I am currently working part-time, so I can care for your pets anytime outside of my normal work hours. I only work for about 3 hours per day so that leaves plenty of time for them. My number one priority is making sure that your pets will feel safe and happy. I am always willing to keep their favorite items at the ready for whenever they may need it.
About: I have had dogs in my life ever since the age of 4. I have been counted on to care for all breeds and ages of dogs as well as cats. The care of your pet is not something I take lightly as I know how much four legged family members mean to you! I am a college student and a part time employee at a nursing home. I have availability to check in on your furry friends in the afternoons. I care for animals the same as I would people. Putting your animal and it’s needs first. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
