“Debbie is amazing and has the BIGGEST heart when it comes to dogs, and their owners! Her and her husband loved and cared for my dog like he was their own. I will always be grateful for his stay with her!❤️”

“Deirdre has a very kind soul and it is apparent in the way that she treats her dogs & farm. Louise was happy as could be when we came and picked her up. How couldn’t she be happy? Deirdre has ample space to let her pups run around safely!”

“Very happy with the care Seneca received from Karter. She must have had a great time playing with their Shepherd puppy. Seneca is much stronger now after her stay with them. We plan on using Karter M. again in the future. Thanks again Darice”
“Kira was great to work with! I reached out to her last minute and she was extremely accommodating and easy going. I boarded my 2 Pomeranians at her house for a week while I traveled. My dogs seemed perfectly happy when I picked them up! Would absolutely recommend Kira as well as use again!”

“We were anxious to have our dog in an environment with another dog that she has not met, since she can be a little unpredictable. Tristan set up a meet and greet and was confident that our dog would adjust. We are thankful to him for watching her for the weekend when we were in a bind and needed a sitter. We would definitely book again with Tristan if he’d take her!”

“If Joan is available, book her! Our boy immediately felt at home, and was loved and cared for so well. He was happy to see us….but was in no hurry to leave. Joan adapted everything to his needs, asked all the right questions, gave him lots of attention and kept us updated. It is hard to find the right sitter, and we will travel out of our way for Joan to sit Mac again.”
“This was our dog’s first time with Lynnea, and we couldn’t be happier with how it went. Our dog was well-cared for, and communication was frequent and meaningful. We appreciated all of the photos and videos Lynnea sent us while we were away. We will definitely use her as our sitter in the future!”

“Fernando was great! Our dog went in a little more nervous then usual and left happy and calm. I appreciated how responsive and communicative he was while we were traveling. Any dog would be in great hands if they stayed with Fernando.”

“We were desperate last minute for someone to watch our dog on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We reached out to Lydianis and her husband Alex on Rover. They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much! We will definitely be calling again to have them watch our little fur baby!”

“Our experience was excellent! It was our first time leaving our puppy with someone new, but Mollie is so warm and welcoming our little guy had no hesitation going with her. She provided frequent updates and was communicative, helpful, and reliable. We have already recommended Mollie to our friends and will continue to do so! You can tell Mollie loves what she does, and her caring and kind nature shines through in every interaction. We know when our pup is with Mollie he is safe and loved like her own. We will definitely be booking again!”

About: I've owned three dogs in the past 20 years. A greyhound (rescue), a border collie/retriever mix (rescue) and a chihuahua. Each one unique in their personality, energy level and needs, giving me a broad understanding of dog care. I recently retired and can't think of a better way to spend some of my free time, than with pups. I'm available M-F, and we could probably negotiate some weekends if needed. I love taking dogs for walks. We frequently walked our dogs at Kolapechka park and utilized the dog play areas. I could do the same for yours. Open to broadening my services to include overnight stays in my home once a bond/trust is developed between myself and your pet.

About: As a proud pet owner and animal lover, I know our fur babies are family! 🐾❤️ I provide a safe, loving environment filled with cuddles, playtime, and plenty of attention. Whether it's walks, feeding, or simply keeping them company, I'll treat your pets with the same love and care I give my own! Caring for pets is already a natural part of my daily routine! 🐾 I enjoy making time for walks, playtime, feeding, and cuddles. I'm happy to coordinate schedules to ensure your fur baby gets the love and attention they deserve! Your pet's safety, happiness, and comfort are my top priorities! ❤️ I provide a clean, loving, and welcoming environment where your fur baby will feel right at home. I'll always respect their routines and treat them like family!

“Deanna is great. Her communication was fantastic and I enjoyed the pictures she sent. You can tell she really cares about the animals in her care. Our dog has a medical history (not a constant issue, but occasional issues) that we were upfront about and we really love that she has a veterinary background. She had no concerns about caring for our boy. When we went to pick him up, we could tell he (and the other dogs) was well cared for.”

About: I am more than a sitter – I’m a loving companion for your furry family members! With over 5 years of experience owning dogs of all sizes and temperaments, I offer personalized care, daily photo updates, and plenty of tail-wagging adventures. Whether your pet needs medication, a buddy for long walks, or just someone to cuddle, I’m here to ensure they feel at home while you’re away. I work from home during the week so I have lots of time for walkies and playtime. I am also flexible on weekends for last minute bookings. I live in a apartment close to a doggy park and have 1 fur baby to keep yours company during the day and to play with.
“We cannot say enough about how happy we were with the care Taylor and Joseph provided for our little guy. Koda came home SO happy and exhausted from playing with their sweet and adorable pup, (his new best friend) Mac! We were able to relax and enjoy our trip knowing that Koda was in excellent hands. They made sure all of his needs were met, including that his medication was administered properly, plus they gave him plenty of love! We received several photos and updates on how he was doing. Their home is immaculate, the fenced in yard is perfect, and they are truly wonderful people. I highly recommend them!”

About: I have always had pets since i was a little girl and continue to care for animals. I have one handsome dog. Please reach out if interested! Available anytime and any day during the week. Let me know your needs and we will work out a schedule for your precious puppy or furry animal! I do not have a fenced in yrd. I have one animal at home who is crate trained and goes on a leash to go to the bathroom or outdoor activities
About: I work from home full-time, so your dog will have plenty of company and attention throughout the day. I also have a friendly husky named Henry who loves having another dog around and is always down for a new friend. I keep boarding very limited so your dog can actually settle in and feel at home rather than being one of a bunch of dogs. I’m around all day, can keep up with their normal routine, walks, feeding schedule, medications, and whatever else they’re used to. I know leaving your dog with someone can be stressful (unfortunately firsthand) so I’ll be sure to keep you updated with plenty of pictures and videos! I work from home full-time, so I’m around throughout most of the day. My schedule is pretty flexible, which makes it easy to keep your dog on their normal feeding, walking, and potty routine. Henry gets plenty of walks and attention throughout the day, and any dog staying with us gets included in the routine! I treat every dog staying with me like I would my own. I’m home most of the day, so they’re rarely left alone for long periods. I keep a clean, comfortable home and only take dogs that are a good fit with Henry. I’m also happy to follow any specific routines, medications, or instructions you have so your dog feels as comfortable as possible while you’re away

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
95% of sitters in Kaska can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Kaska home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Kaska.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
