About: I have been pet sitting dogs and cats for about 17 years. There were always animals being fostered or adopted into my house growing up, and I now have 2 cats, 1 dog, and chickens! I currently work remotely as a contracts specialist. I have the luxury of being able to work my lunch breaks around your pets’ need. Your pets will be cared for around the clock! Of course you’ll have the opportunity to meet me to ensure you are 100% comfortable before trusting me with your family pets. I have experience administering oral medications, bottle feeding teeny babies, and more. If you are looking for a sitter for just one animal or have a litter of foster kittens on your hands, I am the person to keep you at ease while you are busy working or playing. Feel free to contact me to work out your needs- whatever they may be. I genuinely love animals, want to spend time with your animals, and look forward to caring for them as my own. ***Get $20 off your first book with my referral code: ALEXID74283, https://www.rover.com/sit/alexid74283 I work remotely from home, so I have plenty of availability. Please reach out with any scheduling requests, and we can get the details squared away. I have a fenced in area in the yard and additional acreage for your pups to run if you want! I love walking, so I’m always available to take your dog to get plenty of leashes exercise as well.

About: I'm certified in CPR emergency vet services and have watched dogs in my home for years. If you are working long hours and or regular hours and need someone to take care of your dog while you're at work, I'm the one. Sometimes when we leave our dogs alone at home while we work they can get into a lot of things. They can get bored. They can be destructive and they get very lonely. Most of the clients that I work with have a job work long hours and their dogs at times have torn their house, their furniture or whatever they can find completely up and then they have such a mess when they get home. We love our dogs. We love them more than anything and it's hard to come home like that. So if you're tired of it and need someone to help, I'm the one for you. I'm retired. I have two dogs that are so used to other dogs. They don't get out of my sight. Believe me. I have leashes harnesses beds. Anything they need? Lots of toys and lots of activity. I don't have a fenced-in yard but that's why I take small dogs and I can walk them two to three times a day. Whatever you would like to have done. They are allowed on my furniture and in bed with me if they happen to spend the night. They have full run of the household just like mine does. My two dogs are small and they love other dogs after their first initial visit. My dogs are used to other dogs in my house that are not mine and we all get along. Meet and greets are essential. I love animals of all kinds, but I find that dogs are my ones that I can handle the best. It gives the owner peace of mind knowing that their dog is with someone that will take good care of them. So if you need somebody like me just me know. We'll see what we can work out. Randomly I will be able to watch them overnight. If something happens you have to work late or the weather gets bad and you can't make it to my home. That's not a problem. I've got a big bed and lots of blankets and lots of pillows and lots of dog beds if that's where they like to sleep. 🐾 All dogs must be up to date on shots and flea and tick medicine. All dogs will be checked when they come to my house to make sure that there's no fleas. If they do have fleas then I will bathe them And let you know that they need flea and tick medicine before they return. I have plenty of references if you request. I’m retired and am home all day. I’m prepared ahead of time for hosting dogs. The reason I have a one-day notice is so I can prepare my house with anything I may need so that there is no leaving the dogs by theirself. All pets free roam my home. They get to sleep wherever they are used to. They are fed according to the pet parents instructions. All pets get two to three walks a day .Lots of potty breaks, water provided outside and of course inside. They get lots of hugs and treats if aloud by pet parents.

As a federal employee, I recently started going back into the office every day, a big transition from my previous one day/week schedule. One of the stressors was finding quick help so my dog wouldn't be stuck inside for the extremely long days - Kayda to the rescue! Kayda has been reliable, flexible, and very kind; she stops by to take my little old guy for an afternoon walk. I appreciate her help so much and would definitely recommend her!

Amazing person! Gave multiple picture updates and told us everything she did with our dogs! Came over to meet the dogs to see if she would be a match, listened to everything we needed to say about them! We have a huge yard that they can play in but she still took them on walks in our neighborhood!!! Taught the dogs some new tricks and gave them so much love when we were at work!! Highly recommend Shannon! You will not be disappointed and your dogs will love her just like ours do!!

About: I have had the honor of having dogs my entire life. Recently, helped my daughter potty training her rescue puppies. They have become the protectors of my grandchildren. As an Empty Nester, I enjoy the simple things in life and would love to offer my services for walks during the early mornings and evenings. Additionally, if you need overnight care, I can provide that service in your home upon request. Currently, I do not have pets in my home, as I do not have a fenced yard that would allow them to safely play and enjoy outdoor activities.

I am also a quick learner for any other needs, so just let me know pet-specific needs! I love to cook elevated pet meals enriched with beef, fresh veggies, fish oil, etc and also am a strong supporter of animal enrichment such as treat puzzles and learning new tricks! As this is my only obligation, I have the time to give my full attention to your pet! Before booking, I would love to chat with you to make sure this is a good match! Getting to know you and your pet can help ensure a successful trip for your pet. I would love to know details such as your pets’ personality, likes/dislikes, fears, and anything else you deem important. I am located walking distance to a vet as well as Zonolite Park. We can go for long walks there or doggy play dates with a close neighbors’ dog if you would like! I have many years’ experience babysitting, so understand this dynamic well. About: While I may not have formal experience, I’ve spent years caring for my own dogs and truly understanding what it takes to keep them happy healthy, and comfortable. I am attentive to their needs, from feeding and walking to playtime. I also know to be patient and gentle whether I’m helping a playful puppy burn off energy or making sure a senior dog feels safe and loved. I’m currently home from college and have a very open flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention, care, and love they deserve. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company, I’m available throughout the day and can easily adapt to your pets routine. I have spent years caring for my own dogs and truly love being around animals. At home, I walk them twice a day, make sure their bowls are clean, and always give them fresh food and water. I also brush them and wipe them down when it is raining to help keep them clean and comfortable. I do my best to keep a routine that makes them feel safe and happy. I’ll bring the same level of love and attention to your pets treating them like my own with lots of patience, playtime, and care.

About: I have had animals throughout my whole life. The animal I’ve had with me the longest is my 16 year old chihuahua. I’ve had him since I was 5 years old. I grew up with him and I take really good care of him. He’s very healthy and also very spoiled. As of right now I’m only doing the dog walking service and the dog and cat drop ins. I am available anytime as of right now. I will give them lots of attention and love. If they have certain times they eat at I will feed them at those times. Whenever they need to go potty I will let them out if there is a fenced yard or I will walk them if there is not a fenced yard.

As of July 2026, there are 680 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Kasiesville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Kasiesville. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Kasiesville.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Kasiesville. On Rover:

  • 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 91% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
