About: My background includes veterinary nursing and exotic animal care. I've undergone many thousands of hours of feeding, befriending and caring for a dizzying variety of animals in a perplexing array of contexts including shelter care, walk-in clinics, hospitals, sanctuaries and the occasional backyard. I've done a little bit of everything, a lot of bit of some things. I'll ensure that they're as happy as possible in your absence. I recently moved to South Florida, so I have the luxury of flexibility. My schedule is generally open, so few if any conflicts will present themselves. If there are specific activities they love, then we'll do them, because happy dogs are healthier dogs. Otherwise, I'll be co-existing with them and doing my best to keep them occupied. Besides religiously checking their water, I like to have a schedule in front of me to adhere to: anything time-sensitive won't be missed (ie insulin, oral medications), and will note anything to bring to your attention.

About: I have been in animal care since I was 9 years old! I began volunteering at an Animal Sanctuary when I was 9, where I cared for cats and dogs as well as various farm animals. At this age, I began a small neighborhood dog walking and daily pet care business. I have also worked for Leasherly Life in Massachusetts, where I provided overnight pet care and dog walking for clients. I have always grown up with dogs and cats, adopting the responsibility for feeding, cleaning, walking and caring for them! I’m currently an intern with the FWC Manatee program. I work Tuesday-Saturday 9-5 and I have all day Sunday and Monday off. Ideally anytime after 5 any of my work days would be awesome. I am available for overnight pet care any day of the week as well, with my 9-5 in mind! About: I have had a pet of some type my entire life, and I love to take care of animals. I work from home and have 2 willing teenagers at home who would love another pet but will settle on helping care for yours. I'm current home all day and will take your dog for walks and play. I have a ton of flexibility to walk dogs, take care of pets and play. Someone in our family is always home. We have a family dog at home that gets along well with others. I haven't met a dog or cat that I haven't or that hasn’t loved me. I am dependable and will take care of your pet as if they were my own. I volunteer at furry friends so I am well versed with most breeds and ages as I’ve taken care of puppies and walked elderly dogs. I have also worked in the cattery learning how to nurse kittens, give medication, clean the litter boxes and offer tender love and care even to the most skiddish of cats.
