“This was our first time using Anna and wow!! She did such an amazing job, we got daily updates with pictures. She told us what Dusty did from morning to night time! We are so impressed and Dusty seemed to love his stay with her, she even gave him a bath and trimmed his nails. We are so pleased and will definitely be using her again!”

“This was the first time I didn't stress about leaving my dog somewhere. Kasey and Adam were great! I knew my pup would have fun with the other dogs right away, and their property is AMAZING! Next time I'm going to send my pup on vacation and go staty with them myself!”

“Rena P provided exceptional care for my dog. She is incredibly caring, energetic, and professional. We received consistent updates and photos throughout the stay, which I really appreciated. It’s rare to find someone you trust implicitly with your pet, but Rena P is definitely that person!"”

“Geysi was great with our dog and accommodated last minute requests. She even met us the first time to drop off and pick him up since we had trouble with our GPS. I highly recommend Geysi and plan to use her again.”

“Blanca was amazing! She sent me pictures daily to check on my Molly, we even video call! The pre-meeting was a success as we got to meet her dogs and they were very playful with my dog. Her place was really close to me and she was very flexible about to drop off and pick up times. We will definitely use her again!”

“Folks, if you are searching for the BEST, you have reached your destination! This was our first time using Rover.com and let me tell you, Mikayla made us feel at ease and ensure we were updated throughout our trip. Going above and beyond, she provided texts, videos, and picture updates over the course of watching our pet. We truly could not have asked for a better first time experience and looking forward to using her more in the future!”

“Marina was absolutely the best! She kept me updated multiple times a day, which gave me so much peace of mind, especially since this was my dogs’ first stay with her and her dog, Misty. They played until they couldn’t play anymore, and it was clear they had the best time 🐾 We’re already looking forward to their next visit—more like their next vacation ;)”

“Rachel and her husband were outstanding. My pup was well cared for, kept clean, fed and had fun. I will always seek to use Rachel's service in the future and Definitely highly recommend to anyone!”

“Ashley has been an exceptional host for my dog, Neo. She is incredibly friendly, and her daughter and dog, Daisy, was equally welcoming to Neo. Throughout his stay, Ashley maintained excellent communication, keeping us updated with photos and videos of Neo’s well-being. I could clearly see that Neo was thoroughly enjoying his time with her. Additionally, Ashley ensured that Neo received ample physical activity by taking him to a dog park. I wholeheartedly recommend Ashley as a host.”

About: I have animals since I am 6, I have a malinois in the house with us and my husky is going to join us in December. I have my husky since 6 years now, those bread teach you a loooooot of patience. My Malinois is still young only 6 months old. We also have a kitty, my parents back in France have a lot of cats that I took care for years. I am at home almost all day expect to go do some grocery or else, I take my dog out when I wake up, during the day and before going to bed. She also knows how to ask. My animals are free to go anywhere and sleep with us in the bed or in their bed at our feets. We put her in the room when we leave to avoid having to much mess everywhere. I don’t wanna put her in a crate.
“I had never used Rover before and was quite nervous about leaving my Lab... however, all that was for not... Ashley was great with my Bosco. She sent pictures while he was there sent messages about how he was doing and apparently even worked on some of his training. Thank you for opening up your home.”

“My wife and I are extremely satisfied with Haleys care for our dog. She was attentive, communicative and accommodating to our last minute dog boarding request and even woke up early to meet our needs. Haley sent plenty of pictures throughout the stay. She was sure to properly integrate our dog with other dogs during his stay and my dog was happy to have plenty of play time with the other dogs. Our dog is normally anxious his first night away in an unknown place and usually does not eat. With haley he was completely comfortable with eating all his food and sleeping as normal in the comfort of her home. We will definitely be using Haley for any of our future needs.”
“Theresa is wonderful! She responds very quickly, communicated thoroughly during the sitting, sends plenty of pics and videos, and I genuinely can tell she cares about animals. She will be my first choice anytime I’m in need.”

“My Harley had a great time I was very pleased with the care and the many updates that were sent without having to ask. When Harley first arrived he had an accident I’m thinking he was nervous out the car ride she understood didn’t make an issue out of it and we went on with the appointment. Harley didn’t want to leave 🤣😊 the home was clean and cool I will certainly be rebooking.”

“Samantha did an amazing job of taking care of my cat. I was really nervous because I'd never used rover before and I knew my cat would be super anxious. Samantha always responded in a timely manner and was able to provide updates showing that he was getting along well. I would use her services again”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
