“Moriah was an amazing dog sitter for our pup Peaches! She followed all of our care instructions perfectly and made sure Peaches felt loved and comfortable while we were away. We especially appreciated all the photo updates. On top of taking great care of Peaches, Moriah also took wonderful care of our home. She’s responsible, kind, and clearly loves animals. We’d absolutely recommend her and would love to have her watch Peaches again in the future!”

About: I'm a huge dog lover! I've had a dog since I was 8 years old and have always had one around me. I'm kind of a dog whisperer at this point; sometimes I can communicate with them if I'm around them long enough. :) I don't have an issue with any kind of dogs, big or small. I'm pretty much flexible when it comes down to my weekly schedule. I work for Uber/Lyft five or six days a week, but I'm more than happy to work around to help you with your schedule. I don't mind any kind of dog or cat roaming around. Just let me know ahead of time if there's anything I should be aware of, such as "might nibble on a hand" or "still learning how to go potty" or anything like that.
“Leland was great! He is a kind soft spoken young man that loves animals. I really enjoyed the daily pictures and updates. My dogs and house were very well taken care of. I will definitely use him again!”

“I really appreciate the time and care. Emily took with taking care of my babies. Being able to watch them in my home meant so much to me with me traveling it keeps the dogs feeling comfortable and I really appreciated that from her. I can tell that the dogs really enjoyed her and the time they were able to spend they were just as happy when I left as when I got home. I think her so much will definitely be booking with her again.”

About: I raised my dog Rocky from when he was a puppy, so I’m experienced in caring for pets of all ages. I’ve pet sit many times before learning about Rover. Every pet is different, and I’m prepared to do my best to meet your pet’s individual needs. I believe a routine is incredibly beneficial to pet care, which is why Rocky is part of my routine. If your pet is staying with me they will be feed and walked first thing in the morning. Potty breaks throughout the day for pets with more frequent needs. Then second feeding and walk at approximately 6:30 pm. If I’m sitting at your place, if your pet has its own routine we will follow it, if not I will adopt a routine based on the environment. Previously, my house was a 3 dog 3 cat house. After some relationship changes, it’s just me and Rocky. Rocky is completely submissive, although he’s a Goldmation he very much embodies golden retriever energy, and gets along with pets of all shapes and sizes (like I said, 3 cats) When sitting at your house you can be sure that both your home and pets will be cared for. Cleaning is one of my favorite activities, so you might find your house is even a bit more tidy than you left it. And Rocky is very low maintenance and stays home when I pet sit, meaning that if you want me to spend as much time at your place as possible, I can do that.
“Sierra was amazing! She provided excellent customer service, professionalism and communication. She babysat our two boxer dogs Nash and Rose. Nash is newly adopted and has some challenging issues and she went above and beyond with them. She also stayed in constant communication with us by sending updates and pictures. It was nice to be able to take a trip and know that our pups and home were in good hands! Thank you so much Sierra!”

About: I grew up with a Great Dane and now care for two smaller babies. I love all animals and I’m sure I’ll love yours ☺️ I had exotic animals when I was a teen. My little zoo had rats, ferrets, birds, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I currently do some gig work but I’m free otherwise and would love to meet your animals! If needed I can set some time aside for your animals if they need a quick potty break I am naturally shy and quiet, but just let me know what your animal’s needs are beforehand to make them more comfortable. (like I know some dogs rely on calm, quiet environments and others may like loud and energetic environments.
“What can I say? Anastasiia won my cat, Julie's heart over. Julie does not like people, traveling or being alone so you can imagine the predicament. During our first meeting, Anastasiia walked in and Julie investigated, and let her be petted, immediately. I knew at that point. During my trip, Anastasiia sent updates and pictures of Julie playing and basking outside. I didn't have to worry about what was happening at home. If you are looking for a pet whisperer, Anastasiia is your sitter.”

About: I have worked in banking for 25 years. I know attention to detail means the entire time you’re on the job. I had two cats that passed away last year. I no longer have pets and wish to include them in my life, but not have them in my home. I would love the opportunity to find some love with other clients pets. I’m single live alone no children. My mom lives in Hot Springs Village. She has 83. I work in Malvern and Hot Springs at Clearway Credit Union in the operations department I am single I live alone. I have no pets no children. I am seeking companionship with other clients pets to fill my life. I work full-time at Clearway Credit Union in Malvern and also Hot Springs and I work remote two days a week so I could be with your pet all day twice a week. I would rather stay at the house, but I am open to making stops and potty trips and walk trips. Thank you. Make out with the center of my world I spent all my time taking care of them because they have no children brushing them, loving them, cuddling with them playing with them. I would be the same for your pet pets. I have been missing companionship in my life since my cats passed away last August. This will give me a purpose of great joy. Thank you.
About: Animals, specifically dogs and cats, have always been a key part of my life. I have a black lab of my own named Indy and she is my pride and joy. There are also several other dogs and cats within my inner circle that I absolutely adore. I know how important it is to have someone you genuinely trust caring for your baby, and I would treat yours with the same love and attention I give my own. I’m dependable and comfortable following even the most elaborate routine, whether that includes walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medications, recovery restrictions, or lots of extra cuddles. I also have several close friends and family members who work in veterinary medicine, including my cousin who is currently in her third year of veterinary school and is always just a phone call away. My schedule is extremely flexible, which allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m able to adjust my schedule around your pet’s needs rather than expecting their routine to fit around mine. Pets in my home will be treated just like my own—with lots of love, attention, and plenty of cuddles! The dogs in my home are very friendly and accustomed to being around other animals. I want your pet to feel as comfortable and at home as possible while they’re with me. Pets are welcome on the furniture and beds in my home, especially if that’s what they’re used to at home. If your pet is crate-trained or you prefer them to be crated at certain times, I also have a kennel available and am happy to follow their normal routine.

“As always our babies were very well cared for. Got pictures and videos while we were gone as well. We got home to very happy pups and kitties. We don’t use any other sitter at this point because she just takes such good care of everyone. She even makes sure the lizard and fish are tended to. Highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Jozlyne did a wonderful job. Like most people’s pets, our pets get special treatment and she was definitely up for it! She was caring and attentive. We got updates and amazing pictures while we were away. I felt super comfortable having Jozlyne taking care of things while we were gone. Will definitely book with her again!”

About: Hi there! I’m a dog loving gal for all the doggies in the world. I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. I’ve bottle fed my dog personally until he could have puppy food. I started dog sitting for family three years ago and have done it ever since! Now, I’m excited to welcome your furry friend into my furry family! I’m currently between jobs, so I have plenty of free time to help you or your furry friends with anything you need for a safe, fun and loving experience! I have two furry family members with vastly different sizes and personalities. Despite their differences, they all require the same amount of love, but they have distinct needs. I treat my furry friends like children, and I’m sure you’ll want the same for yours!
“Very wonderful and took very good care of my 2 fur babies! Lots of pics sent to us and updates through out the days! If I ever need a sitter again I will get her again! We had her come to our home so they would be more comfortable.”

About: I have cared for many a dog and cat for family and friends. As well as I am a pet owner myself. I will love your baby and play with your baby as if it were my own. Pet sitting and house sitting will be my job. So I will be dedicated to whatever schedule is needed for my client. I will be available on weekdays and weekends. I also can provide pet pick up and drop off to vet visits or groomers for a fee I would rather keep your pet in your home. If I need to I am certainly willing to bring to my house. I do not have a fenced yard, but can walk your pet for exercise. I do own two cats, so if your baby does not tolerate them, then it would for sure need to be your home I stay in with them.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 90 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Jones Mill. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Jones Mill walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Jones Mill maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Jones Mill choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
