“Janet is such a dream! We had our reservation booked for months ahead with our vet’s kennel. We discovered just 3 nights before we were to leave, that our kennel does not have any attendants in the building from 7pm to 7am. Our senior dog has health concerns and we were contemplating canceling our trip if nobody could be with them overnight. After connecting with Janet, we knew our babies would be in good hands with her. She checked in often and sent pictures. Her feedback on their progress of adjusting (they have never stayed overnight away from home) were reassuring and gave us such peace on our trip. About: I have always loved animals and understand the importance of compassion, responsibility and trust when caring for pets. I volunteered for 10 years fostering lost and or abandoned pets. Fostering gave me valuable experience of understanding routines, medication instructions, providing companionship and attention to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I take pride in being responsible and trustworthy. Pets are safe, cared for and treated like family. Available full time! Retired, no children. Neighborhood park within walking distance. Feeding schedules and medication instructions followed. Photos of your pet provided during your absence.i do not use crates unless the owner request one to be used. Pets are allowed on the furniture so let me know if you do not allow them at your home. Dog beds are provided unless you prefer your own. Feel free to bring a personal article of your clothing if your dog has separation anxiety or a thunder shirt. Fenced yard. Child free home. Crate provided if requested by the owner. Retired, now spending the next chapter of my life doing something I truly enjoy and feel passionate about-caring for animals. Fresh water provided all day. I keep dogs on feeding schedules as provided.

About: I’ve worked for a doggy day care and boarding facility. I also have owned pups my entire life. I love pups and would love to take care of yours! I am available anytime to play with and care for your pups! I can work around any schedule 7 days a week. Whatever is convenient for you just let me know. I have 2 pup friendly fur babies if your pups would like to play with them. If not my pups are well crate trained and I have an extra room if needed for my pups to go into!
“My Otis has separation anxiety (so I thought) so I had planned to take him over to Dennis's house 2 days in a row before leaving on the third day. The two days were not necessary because the first day immediately eased my heart and mind. Otis was immediately comfortable in their home! I walked away to for 10 minutes to see if he'd cry for me like he usually does, not a peep came out of him ❤️ Through out the trip Dennis and Sue consistently sent me pictures and in every single one he was getting showered with attention, was super comfortable and seemed so content. If I could give 10 stars I would! This will be the only sitter I choose from here on out. Thank you Sue and Dennis for taking care of my baby and for giving me peace of mind on my vacation. 🫶🏾❤️”

- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

You and your Joiner sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
