About: I’ve grown up with Beagles and work well with all breeds and ages. I strongly believe that every dog deserves a day out on the town (or maybe just a walk around it). I’m free most weekends and various times during the day. I can do early mornings or late nights, happy to spend time with any dog throughout the day. I knock and ring the doorbell always first, just so the dogs know I’m coming (if they don’t already), walk in, greet everyone and wish the dogs a good morning, feed and water them, then let them have their breakfast and take them on a walk afterwards, always making sure to clean up after them when I first get there and definitely before I leave.

About: I have taken care of close friends and families pets for years and I have decided to expand and see if anyone else needs care for their animals! I have plenty of experience working with animals. I started out as a farm aid at Turtleback zoo a couple years ago and left to go work with marine mammals in Florida. When I came back to NJ I went to Cape May and worked as a full time seasonal animal keeper. After my 6 months were up I went back to Turtleback zoo as a Relief Keeper. I left the zoo field December 2021 and started working part time at a local vet clinic where I work with all size dogs and cats. I know how to give medications also if your dog or cat have any special needs! I currently work full time, first shift for a laboratory. I also work part time at a vets office but when I am dog sitting I do not just do that your pets have more of my attention and are my priority. If I were to stay at your house I can walk your dog around your neighborhood or take them on local hiking trails! Whatever works best! I am here to care for your animals just as I would my own. My dogs Cooper and Ginger are very spoiled and I can guarantee yours will be also! Depending on the needs of your pet will be the deciding factor of our daily routine. We can talk about that more in details if you decide to message me! I have two mini dachshunds that are friendly and love to walk/hike! If your dog is friendly and adventurous I would bring them along for the fun!

“Emily was absolutely amazing. We had a very unusual situation where we lost power the night before leaving for vacation, which meant we could not leave Tucker at home as planned. Emily was incredibly understanding and stayed available in case the power came back on and we were able to leave. When the power was finally restored, she refunded us for the days she did not need to come, even though she did not have to. We had specifically asked her to remain available during that time, so we truly appreciated her honesty, flexibility, and understanding. Once we were able to leave for our vacation, Emily was wonderful with Tucker. She took him on really nice, long walks, communicated with us consistently, and did everything she could to accommodate our situation. You can often tell what someone is really like when nobody is around. We have cameras inside our home, and while I was not sitting there watching every moment, I would occasionally check in to make sure everything was going well. Every time I checked, Emily was incredibly sweet, patient, and attentive with Tucker. You can absolutely tell that Emily is a true dog person. She treats the dogs she watches like they are her own, and that gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We would not hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable, honest, caring, and genuinely great with dogs.”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, including a Black Lab, Miniature Pinscher, Rottweiler, and German Shepherd. Being around such different breeds has taught me that every dog has their own personality, energy level, quirks, and way of showing you what they need. I also have hands-on experience caring for dogs in my family. I regularly help care for my sister’s two dogs—a 1-year-old Corgi and a 13-year-old English Bulldog. Having both a young, energetic dog and a senior dog has given me an appreciation for how different their needs can be. One may want to play, explore, and keep you moving, while the other may need a slower pace, extra patience, comfort, and a little more attention. I also frequently care for a French Bulldog in my family when his dad needs someone he trusts to look after him. I truly enjoy getting to know each dog individually and learning their routines, personalities, favorite activities, and little quirks. I also have experience caring for Ozzie, my mom’s boyfriend’s 7-year-old Whoodle. Spending time with Ozzie has given me even more experience caring for an adult dog with his own personality, routines, and preferences. And of course, I can’t forget Mochi, my boyfriend’s approximately 5-year-old Chihuahua-Terrier mix. Caring for him has also taught me that sometimes the smallest dogs have the biggest personalities! What makes pet care special to me is that I don't look at it as simply a job or a checklist of feeding, walking, and letting a pet outside. I pay attention to the little things—whether a dog needs some extra exercise, some quiet time, reassurance in a new situation, or simply someone to sit beside them and give them some love. About: I’ve taken care of pets since my early 20s. I began fostering dogs in my early 30s and even had some foster failures. I have always been that friend, neighbor, stranger that will stop and help and animal in need or just stop the world to say hi to a four legged love ! I have full open availability! I am a teacher and am home during the summer so I can meet most needs. I am also willing to travel to help a pup in need. I prefer to board at home and I have two small pups at home, Eli and Gidget. Eli is a 12 year old Havanese and Gidget is a 2 year old Brug. They are sweet and get along with all animals and people.

About: I have been around animals all my life, especially dogs. Growing up we always owned a dog. I grew up in an apartment around dogs, birds, rabbits, chicks, ducks, hamsters and turtles. I am home by 4pm. I take my dogs out for long walks or to the doggie park when I arrive. My husband is our pets caretaker during the day since he works nights. They also take long walks three times per day. We also have a dog park five minutes from the house and they enjoy going there.
