About: I have been rescuing and fostering dogs for over 10 years. I’ve been boarding over 2 years now, have 7 years experience in shelter medicine and 2 years in vet med. I am pet CPR certified and your doggos will be cared for like they are my own. My place is small and I do not take on more dogs than I can handle — not only for me, but also to keep stress levels low while your pup is away from home. I work part-time at the Leitchfield Animal Shelter, but my schedule is extremely flexible. My mom, Norma, also helps with cleaning and letting dogs out for potty time if I am not able to step away immediately. I have a fenced yard for your pups to run and play in. I provide an indoor temperature controlled space that is consistently monitored by a camera. The indoor area offers the pups a comfy couch, blankets, and other amenities to make them feel right at home.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your furry family members. I’m here to give your pets the same love, attention, and respect they get at home. From long walks to quiet cuddle time, I follow your routine to keep them comfortable and content. I have had my own pets for 15+ years plus, different kinds of them. You can count on me for consistent, reliable, and loving care. I understand the trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s hands, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’ll keep you updated with photos and notes, so you always know how your pet is doing. Safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I always provide a calm, secure, and loving environment where pets can feel relaxed and at home. I take time to learn each animal’s personality, routines, and any special needs they have whether it’s dietary restrictions, medications, or just needing extra cuddles and patience. I’m gentle, attentive, and always go at your pet’s pace, especially if they’re shy, anxious, or adjusting to a new situation. Clean water, a safe space, plenty of playtime, and lots of affection are always part of my care. I also give regular updates with photos and messages so you feel connected and reassured while you’re away. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel confident, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way.

“Monica was awesome! She took care of our anxious puppies and regularly update me with pictures. Im glad to have chosen her to temporarily take care of our pets. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Indy quickly became comfortable and followed Jennifer's son around for 3 straight days, even feeling comfortable sleeping next to him (which he let her do!). Jennifer was quick to respond and update when I needed it, and the neighborhood couldn't have been better (big lots, no traffic). 5 stars.”

About: Hi, I’m Christina. Animals have been the center of my world for as long as I can remember. I’m the Director of an animal shelter, certified in pet CPR and animal control, and I also work in a spay/neuter clinic — but more than anything, I truly love what I do. Every animal deserves patience, compassion, and comfort, and I make sure each pet in my care feels safe, understood, and deeply loved. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or needs a little extra TLC, I’ll care for them like family — because to me, they are. My life revolves around animals—it's not just what I do, it's who I am. I work full-time as the Director of an animal shelter, where I advocate for the voiceless and fight daily to give each animal a second chance. Once a week, I assist at a spay/neuter clinic, helping control the pet population and improve community health. I also serve as animal control, responding with compassion and care to animals in need. At home, I’m surrounded by love in the form of three very different (and very spoiled) dogs: a loyal Rottweiler, a sassy wiener dog, and a curious little beagle puppy. My experience doesn’t stop at domestic animals—I’ve also raised and cared for wildlife like raccoons, possums, and squirrels. Each animal, no matter how big, small, wild, or misunderstood, holds a special place in my heart. This isn’t just a job—it’s a life I’ve built around empathy, dedication, and an unshakable bond with animals. All my animals get along with other pets, I prefer to go to pet owners homes or go walk them at our city park / dog park.

About: I have taken care of pets since the age of 11, with experience of working at a spay and neuter clinic and a humane society. I am available almost any day of the week any time! I have two little kids, so any pets would need to be ok with kids. I have a nice big yard, and one medium sized dog. He is always happy to make new friends. He is fully vaccinated. I also have one cat who is friendly with dogs and other cats.

“Francesca was amazing. My puppers was well taken care of while I was away. Recieved cute good morning pictures and I was kept up to date of any changes. Will definitely use Francesca again for our next trip! Highly recommend!!”

About: Not only am I a pet owner myself, but I have cared for many friends' and family members' pets over the years. I currently have a dog and two cats. I work full-time for the school system, but am off during the summers, which gives me ample flexibility. During the school year, I still maintain home-work life balance as I am home by 4:00 p.m. I do not have a fenced in yard, however I own my house which houses one dog and two cats. My dog is crate and leash trained.

“Ana is honestly amazing. From the very first message, I could tell she genuinely care about animals. She took the time to ask about my dog’s habits, quirks, and favorite things, which meant a lot to me. While I was away, she kept me in the loop with sweet updates and pictures and it really helped ease my anxiety. When I came back, my dog was calm, happy, and clearly bonded with her. Taylor & Joseph L.
“For as long as I've known Taylor, she has always shown a great deal of love and care for MANY different animals. She even used to watch my puppy Titus for me, she worked with the local Humane Society and have cared for many animals, especially ones who needed special care. Not to mention her own personal little zoo that I have seen of a VARIETY of pets, it's amazing to see someone who cares so much about the different animals in the world, especially for the ones who would otherwise not survive on their own.”
