She's my go-to person for our pups!”

“My dog, Cocoa just adores Julie. That's no easy fete as Cocoa can be naughty (she's a puppy) from time to time. Julie is reliable and has great communication with me.”

“Kira is awesome! She is kind, communicates in a timely manner, and is great with our pup. We appreciated the photos of Caly, and the screenshot of her walking route. Looking forward to using her services!”

“Needing to find a new dog walker last minute is never ideal, but that is the situation I found myself in recently. Luckily, I found Alexis who has made the transition as seamless and painless as possible! She is very professional, always on time, asks questions about things I forgot to mention, follows instructions, and has quickly developed a bond with my anxious dog. I have the utmost confidence in her and not fretting about whether my dog is okay while I’m away is such a relief.”

“Hannah is fantastic. Low-key loves and her loves her. Excuse me one thing though Loki is an English cream golden retriever. I’m not sure whether it was pilot error on my part when I put in what type of doggie is or not, but if it can be changed. It should be changed to an English cream, golden retriever”

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs, two dogs and 4 cats over my lifetime. Both outdoor indoor pets and I am very active with them. Pets need love and support from us as much as we need it from them. I spent three years volunteering at the Oregon zoo working with animals. I am flexible and creative, easily adapting to pet's needs. I am also patient and calm with them. I have loved animals since I was a kid. I refused to hit a piñata at a party because it was animal shaped. I will love your pets as if they are my own. I am always happiest when I am around pets. I work from home on a salaried basis, so my schedule is flexible. Especially from early morning until 3pm. I can do quick drop ins and/or long stays if they need a little interaction. I pay attention to location of plants, making sure they are out of reach and not a hazard to pets. I make sure all toys left out are safe, not too small to chock on. Making sure toys don't have anything to tangle up with. I'll watch to make sure pets don't eat too fast and get sick.

About: I've had dogs of my own for my whole life so they have always been a big part of who I am. I currently have two dogs of my own, but have plenty of love left to share with your dogs. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I’ve spent two years and over 150 hours volunteering at a dog and cat rescue. I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments by walking, feeding, bathing, training, and administering medications. In addition to dogs, I’ve previously been a pet parent to horses, cats, and bunnies. I currently volunteer at an equine rescue. I used rover as a sitter very briefly in 2017 when I lived in Florida, so I have some old reviews from my previous time on Rover. I am re-establishing my profile and am excited to get to know some wonderful pups and pup parents in Portland. As a pet parent, I know how stressful it is to leave your treasured family member in someone else’s care. That’s why I make sure to text my Rover families plenty of pictures and updates. I want you to feel confident that your pet is safe and happy so you can enjoy your time away with less stress. I’m also happy to support any training goals you are currently working on. I work a full time job in healthcare quality assurance, but have flexible work hours and a hybrid schedule. I’ll be able to accommodate recurring weekly walks or drop-ins as well as one-time bookings. I’m excited to offer dog walking and drop-in visits. During walks I will ensure your dog remains leashed with the collar and leash set up of your choice. If you’re working on loose leash walking, I can support that training on my walks with your pups. I’ll ensure your pet has food, water, medication (as needed), and will let you know immediately if I see any health or safety concerns.

“Our dog doesn't have a lot of experience with sitters, and Allison knew just how to patiently interact with her as she warmed up to her new friend. We're also going through a house move, so our pup and cats are going through lots of change. It feels good to know that Allison brings the experience we need as an animal lover.”

“Roxie has been great for Ms. Henny. Henny loves to see her and Harmony. They brighten her lonely day with their presence. Having new best friends makes the day easier to get thru.”

“We've been using Christine for semi-regular walks for our very nervous-yet-twerpy lab for the last few weeks, and have been absolutely thrilled to have her! Her communication is fast, thorough and reassuring, she's been super patient with our girl getting to know her, and it seems like they've been having some fun saunters through the neighborhood. Thanks so much Christine!!”

I have a 750 sqft apartment and the backyard is not fenced in but there are many fenced in parks that I take my friends pets to so they can run out their energy safely l. My cat has have had all his shots up to date and he is usually very relaxed and keeps to himself so no worries about having other pets around. I take my fur baby on walks on his harness and in their stroller daily! I’ve trained my cat to sit and shake and do a few other basic commands! He’s food motivated and if you have a food motivated pet, we could definitely work on that command! I make sure to keep up daily schedules for the pets that have them and ensure they get their medication or vitamins.

I love giving daily updates with photos so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. I work full-time Monday through Friday, but I work remotely from home which give me a flexible schedule and the ability to step away as needed for walks, potty breaks, drop-ins, or playtime. Because I’m home all day, I’m able to provide consistent attention, companionship, and care - perfect for pets who need a little extra love or have someone nearby! My cat, Mr. Charlie, is wary of other pets, so to preserve his comfort and safety I am only offering care for pets in your home currently.
