About: I had the opportunity to repeatedly dog and house sit several dogs - from a small fluff ball, to large, energetic breeds (an Alaskan Malamute, an Akita, and a Husky). I loved getting to know each of these dogs unique personalities! I also gained experience taking dogs to vets, picking up meds and administering them. I especially loved working with one dog over the course of several months as we went on daily walks and reinforced basic training skills - especially reducing leash pulling. I live on an acreage with my two dogs, two outdoor cats, and a flock of ducks and chickens. I spend plenty of time walking and giving my dogs exercise—and I’d love to do the same for yours! I also have experience working on dairy farms, which means I've taken care of calves and lambs, bottle feeding and monitoring health in early life stages. I also ride horses and can handle and care for horses. If you have an unusual pet, I would be happy to see if I might be a good fit for helping care for it.
“Rashad was great! My cat Mao had a great time getting all the cuddles he could while I was away, and Rashad was super patient and accommodating when I had to extend Mao’s stay by a day and a half due to unforeseen travel complications. This was a great boarding experience and I would absolutely book again. 10/10”

“Bridgett was awesome with my girls! They loved playing with her dog Niko (hope I spelled that correctly). I felt so at ease with leaving my girls in her care! We will definitely be using Bridgett again!”

“We can’t say enough good things about Myla and Jordan. They helped care for Rooster for a last minute pinch we were in and reassured us he was in good hands. They truly love animals and are well experienced in providing a safe and caring environment. They hosted our pup for a staycation at their house and we will use them again if Rooster joins us again in Memphis.”

“This was Mia’s second time staying with Kissie and it was great. She stayed for a longer time and she had a blast. Kissie sent regular updates and was super accommodating with my requests. Even when I had to modify my flight, Kissie was super helpful and kept mia for couple of more days. I highly recommend her for all you pets need, they will have a wonderful time with Kissie.”

About: I have 16 years of hands-on experience caring for my family dog from puppyhood through his senior years. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, basic bathing, maintaining a pet’s normal routine, and providing plenty of affection and supervision. As a biomedical PhD student, I’m responsible, observant, organized, and attentive to details. I provide owners with regular updates and photos, and I currently host only one small or medium dog at a time so each pet receives calm, individualized care. I’m a biomedical PhD student with a structured weekday schedule, and I primarily offer boarding on weekends when I can provide more consistent supervision and attention. During a stay, I plan feeding, walks, playtime, and potty breaks around each dog’s usual routine. On weekdays, dogs may need to be comfortable alone for up to 4–8 hours. I live in a clean, smoke-free apartment with no children or resident pets. I host only one small or medium dog at a time so I can provide individualized care in a calm environment. Dogs are taken outside on leash for all walks and potty breaks. I carefully follow feeding, medication, crate, and household instructions, keep unsafe items secured, and provide regular photo and message updates. A meet-and-greet is preferred before the first booking.

95% of sitters in Jericho can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
