Top rated Jay house sitters

“Georgia was superb. She not only took excellent care of our dog and cat, but also of our home. Both of our pets seemed very relaxed upon of our return, and showed no signs of stress at all. This means something, as our dog is getting older and is generally a pretty anxious dog. Georgia seems to have a special touch with animals, and we would love to use her as a sitter again in the future.”

“Jordin is who you want watching your pets. I am a nervous nelly about leaving my pets and having Jordin be our sitter put my mind at ease. First of all, she followed the instructions to a tee, secondly, she went above and beyond to keep our house in exactly the state we left it. I am so impressed with Jordin and the way she cared for our pets. In the photos she sent I could tell that my dogs and cats really love her! I will be using Jordin again every time we go out of town.”

“Ilia is a wonderful sitter. In the single night she spent with our cats, they were clearly happy, content and not missing us at all. It is such a gift to have someone like Ilia care for our beloved animals. Thank you.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Shannon! She followed our directions perfectly, making sure our dog felt comfortable and cared for. She even gave him lots of cuddles, which he loved. We found her to be reliable and trustworthy, and it was great to know our dog was in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up on a farm in Lowell. We always had plenty of cats and dogs to play with. And I have always loved animals. I have experience with watching dogs regularly for a home with 13 dogs so that has been quite the adventure but I love it. I love to give them treats and play with them and just plain spoil them with attention. The owner was concerned about them taking to a new person but they took right to me. Pets do seem to take to me well. And now I am looking for more furry friends so I hope you will contact me! I work from home and I make my own hours. So I am quite flexible. I can do overnights or day visits or walks. I am in Newport Center village but am willing to go within 20 minutes depending on the job. For overnights on a regular basis I may do about 25 minutes away. If you are in Newport Town, Newport City, North Troy, Troy, Jay, Coventry, Irasburg, and Derby these are all well within my area. Others like Brownington, and Barton and Albany and Derby Line and maybe Craftsbury are possible depending on situation. As far as safety, and trust, I mostly do sitting in the client's home so I will do whatever the client wishes, and make sure the pets are safe.

“Maria was terrific. She has a sweet, calm manner and handled the responsibilities perfectly. Her dog and my dog were very compatible. Maria sent updates with photos and texts. The house was just as I left it and my dog had clearly been well cared for. Its so reassuring to know, if I have this need again, I now have a great person I feel I can depend on.”

“Faye was a great dog sitter! She was on time, communicative, and flexible with our changing schedule. Our dog was on medication that prohibited strenuous exercise and Faye was very mindful of taking short and calm walks with our dog. I would definitely use Faye again next time I am in the area.”

“Emily took amazing care of my sweet little pittie! She sent me updates once a day as requested with pictures, and kept her active while I was away. I would definitely book her again and recommend her to friends! Thank you so much Emily ?”

“Brooke was a great sitter for our fur baby! She and Dude bonded at their first meeting. We received pictures and an update daily while we were gone. We would definitely have Brooke stay with Dude again.”

“Steven took great care of my dog while I was away for about a week. It was a last minute trip and Steven was incredibly flexible to help me out in a pinch. He sent updates and pictures throughout the week to let me know that all was well. Thank you!”

About: I’ve had family dogs since I was young, mainly rowdy pitties. Before coming to Camp Lejune, I lived in Durham working at an Animal Hospital. At the animal hospital I was the primary caretaker of boarding pets. Walking them, feeding them, taking them for potty breaks, giving them baths, administering medication, observing and correcting their behavior while they played together, and giving them a million cuddles before bed. My experience and love for hanging out with furry friends made me the designated babysitter for family and friends so I’ve cared for every dog of every breed, size, and temperament. I’m not currently working so I have all day to dedicate to taking care of your pets. In August, when school starts, I’ll do online college but because it’s remote I’ll still have an open schedule. I’m a homebody but love to be active. I spend most of my time outside, in the sun, in the yard, reading or birdwatching with my family dog. The times I do leave the house are to find a nice trail or park to go for a long walk. When in my own home dogs are free to roam and welcome on furniture and will have constant supervision. When staying in a clients home I expect to follow all of their house rules they’ve established and stick the routine their dog is comfortable with to keep being around someone new as stress free as possible.

“Jess watched our dog and cat for the first time over the weekend. She let us know when she arrived and sent a photo. She was responsive to our texts so we felt comfortable being away.”

“Jaime is always so great with our energetic dog and patient with our anxious cat! I’m so grateful she was able to help us out on short notice for an unexpected trip we had to take. Would always recommend!”

I’ll be able to take care of your pet daily and if there is any emergencies or issues, I’ll know how to safely handle them. I’m also comfortable administrating medications. My schedule is pretty consistent each week. Each work day is typically 8 hours long but some days are shorter than others. Depending on location, lunch time breaks are available! My biggest responsibility is safety; keeping your pet safe while happy is my top priority. This goes for while on walks, adventures or even just bathroom breaks. As well as any sickness that may come up while you’re gone. Being a veterinary technician, i can realize a sickness sooner than others and know the right course of action.
