I’ve dog sat for several families and regularly walk dogs in my neighborhood. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just companionship, I always make sure each dog feels safe, loved, and cared for. About: I lived in the Dominican Republic as a missionary for 4.5 years. I’m the founder of a non-profit called Dogs of the DR. We fostered orphaned puppies, cared for minor wounds, vaccinated dogs and cats, and flew strays to the U.S. for a better life. I’ve worked with veterinarians in the DR and the U.S., so I have medical knowledge in the case of an emergency. I love running, and I take my dog with me every time I go. I have flexible hours. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from 2 weeks-old, to 14 years-old. I own a car, and I’m willing to travel 50 miles to help out. I allow dogs on the furniture, and in bed. I have no allergies that could prevent me from being useful. I work remotely, so I am home throughout the day for potty breaks, playtime, or midday walks. I am to step away periodically throughout my day to tend to your pets' needs. I understand that I am in your pet's space and will respect their routines, rituals and boundaries. I don't mind animals in the bed or on the furniture, and I can let them out as often as needed.

I can be very flexible, all I ask you communicate with me so we can look after your furballs! As much as I would like to have our dogs meet, Slate is starting to get older and less friendly. Ares on the other hand will play all day! I can bring him with me if requested. The only thing I can’t do is bring your doggo in my house or yard.

About: * DUE TO COVID I WILL BE WEARING A MASK AND GLOVES UPON ENTERING THE HOME* I’ve grown up with pets all my life and have a dog and 2 cats of my own. When I first tried Rover I was so nervous but ended up finding someone great it makes sense that if I was cautious to try then other people are too. I’m excited to take care of pets the way I want mine cared for. I believe that pets are family and leaving pets at home can be scary but my dog was so relaxed being able to stay where she is familiar with her surroundings and to just come home and jump back in to routine was a good feeling. It will be my personal goal to provide reassurance to both you and your companion while you’re away. At the beginning of 2022 I decided I wanted to be a dog trainer and am currently trying enrolled with Animal Behavior College to come a certified trainer. With this I've also completed the CPR certification for cats and dogs. My full time job was able to give me Fridays and Saturdays for the more likely chances for myself to give the care to family pets that I want for my animals. With my services I always do a check or other possible dogs around. If I am unable to cross the street of a passerby with a dog and safely I do so because I do not know the other dog well enough to know if it is okay. However if I am in a situation where I do have to pass another dog I speak up and ask if the dog is friendly while also being away of the pet I'm walking and how he or she is approaching.

About: I always thought I grow up to be a dog trainer and even made an obstacle course for my dog at the age of 8. I love all types of dogs and especially high energy pups. I have had a Border Collie, an Aussie, a Labrador and currently have 2 Doberman. We go for several walks through the day and they love to play with other dogs. I work at the fire station for 48 hours on Friday and Saturday. The rest of the week I stay at home and care for my pups, unless I pick up an extra shift. I take the dogs for several walks a day and have a small unfenced yard to let them out on leash. My dogs are crate trained and I have extra crates at my house if your dogs perfers to sleep in a kennel. I also keep a close eye on my dogs because they are known to get into mischief due to their high energy. I keep them busy with mental stimulation toys through out the day so yours will get those also. I also have a separate upstairs area of the house for dogs who want to be away from the energy of the Doberman. But most of all, I am very flexible and can work with you and yours to make it work!

“Nancy was great with my boys. I needed a dog walker in a pinch due to my work schedule so we did a quick meet and greet 2 days earlier. I was at ease knowing that my boys were being walked and given some exercise while I couldn't be around. I would definitely recommend Nancy!”

14. Caroline C.
“Caroline has been my neighbor for 3 years now and is the most reliable dog watcher we have ever had! We have a min-pin and a Manchester terrier, both are rescue pups with anxiety and fear of strangers. Caroline was able to warm right up to them in less than a week! She always pays them attention when she walks in, which calms them down when we are home, and is patient enough to get them outside during the day when we are not home (they often bark like crazy at the person letting them out like they are an intruder). Caroline knows how finicky they can be and always ensure they actually leave our deck to do their business instead of just sniffing around. I no longer have to worry about letting them out or feeding them if I get stuck at work late because I know they will be taken care of the way I would take care of them. I would highly recommend Caroline as she is an avid animal lover, both cats and dogs, and she genuinely cares about any pets well being!”

“Camden regularly walks and watches my dog, Pepsi. She is great with animals and always very responsive to messages. Pepsi absolutely adores her and gets excited whenever she comes by to walk him or check on him. She is also great about sending picture updates. I would definitely recommend Camden to anyone looking for a reliable, competent pet sitter!”
