And he absolutely loves her! Anytime I take him to do pups and play (which he LOVES), he always freaks out when I go to leave and he practically pulls me down in his attempt to escape. So I was in complete shock when I went to drop him off with Brittany (a complete stranger) and he was cool with me leaving. She just has a way with dogs and my dog bonded with her immediately. Thank Goodness! My family and I were getting ready to go on a week long vacation and we were super nervous about leaving our 9 month old puppy w/ANYONE. He’s not a fan of the crate, so we didn’t feel comfortable leaving him at a kennel. At the suggestion of a friend, I went onto rover and found the perfect match for our pup! Brittany was so easy to work with! I wanted to do an overnight trial just to see how Rocko would do and she was more than accommodating. After seeing how well he did and how happy he was with her, all my fears went away. It was such a relief. My family and I were able to enjoy our vacation worry free and it also helped that she would keep us posted with updates how he was doing and sent us pics and videos of our boy having an absolute blast and getting tons of love and attention. I would highly recommend Brittany to anyone who’s looking for someone who will love their pet as much as they do and I definitely plan on having our pup stay with her again.”

About: I’ve had all kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, lizards, hamsters, and more. I’m not allowed to have any pets where I live now, so I have endless patience for everyone else’s pets. I miss having animals in my life so I’m grateful for the chance to keep your pets happy while you’re away! My schedule is very flexible. I work from home so I can go to clients’ homes and stay with pets for a couple hours or stop by a few times a day. I’m also available most weekends. I’m unable to care for pets in my home but at clients’ homes I plan to follow all their rules and spend as much time playing outside with dogs and playing inside with other animals as possible.

About: I've been caring for my pet cats since I was a child. My cat experience ranges from caring for kittens to geriatric animals. My neighbors have hired me to house sit for them and to take care of their dogs numerous times. I am experienced with administering medications, walking dogs and keeping them happy. I have experience with exotic animals and have a degree in Animal husbandry. I have worked in zoos, rescues and conservation environments. I have experience with birds, reptiles, small mammals and even large hoof stock species. I work full time on the night shift, during the hours of 9PM-5AM. During this time my dogs are crated in the house with access to fresh water. They are crated for around eight hours. When I return, the dogs are given access to my one acre fenced backyard and then fed breakfast. After finishing breakfast we go for a long and leisurely leashed walk. Then they are given supervised access to the yard every 1.5-2 hours and we play fetch or they get bathed. Around noon, I go to bed and they are allowed to be in the house uncrated. Your animals would fit well into this schedule and would receive a large amount of time out of the crates. I live in a house with two dogs with a large backyard that is fenced in. I have a male Rottweiler and a female Pit bull for your dogs to play with, providing they get along during introductions. The safety and security of your animal would be my priority. I have high intensity crates that my animals are kept in. Your animals would be crated in the house for a certain amount of the day but would always have access to fresh water and approved snacks.
