As a child I had a myriad of pets (hamsters, dogs, and cats) throughout my lifetime, and for the past 10 years I was the proud owner of 2 of the world's chillest cats. They passed last year. I am a disabled Veteran who is most likely the guy at the party that will hang out with your pet instead of drinking. I’m currently pet sitting while I am transitioning jobs. I usually do remote work so I will still have time to care and attend to any pets in my care. Yes I have a dog on the premises he is big but he is a teddy bear. Other pets must be comfortable with this as well.

I am 100% comfortable with watching older pups too as long as there is no serious health issues. I will provide any exercise or administer any medication (non-injected) as needed 😊 I would love to schedule a meet and greet with you and your pets! In-house sitting is ideal for any pets that have a set schedule and will help keep them comfortable in an environment they are used to. I have a very strict schedule with my dogs at home and am used to following a schedule. There is a possibility I can be gone for 3-5 hours a day if your pets are okay with being alone for that long. I always ask that you leave me detailed instructions on feeding/care guidelines for your pets and we will discuss care during required meet & greet. If your house does not have a fenced in yard, I am fine with walking your dog on a leash. *Warning: I will NOT walk your dog off a leash even if you tell me your dog is well mannered off a leash. You MUST leave me a leash if you do not have a fence.*

About: I am a former police Richmond Police Officer who has worked with and cared for dogs since age 12 in many settings. Aside from my parents and grandparents raising dogs, I worked several hundred hours of community service in a dog boarding and dog training facility in upstate New York prior to them hiring me as a teen to continue there after completing the hours. I trained our own family dogs are well as friend’s dogs even in my teen years. I have raised and shown bulldogs for the last 10 years and my daughter has grown to develop a passion for caring for dogs as well. Rather than having someone who walks your dog with no real concern for bettering the quality of life of the dog in a way their owner can recognize, I would like to provide care with structure and stimulation in a safe environment so dog owners can know their dog thrived and was well exercised and cared for while they were away. Pet care is a main part of every day for me whether it be for our own dogs or dogs of friends. I will be offering my services for weekends and holidays until further changes can be made. We have a few acres and a fenced in area for dogs to run off leash as well. We are currently working on creating a larger fenced yard as well. When I am caring for someone’s pet in my home, they’re are treated as our own loved dog. We have structured days where they are inside hanging out as well as receiving plenty of exercise in the yard. Depending on the client and the dog I enjoy spending time working on manners and walking with a leash while dogs are in my care so owners see the difference. About: I’ve taken care of friends’ and family members dogs since I was young. I have been assisting my girlfriend with her pet care business for the past two years and am looking to expand my services. I have learned a lot from her veterinary experience and have assisted her with nail trims and medication administration as well. I have experience with regular dog walks and boarding. My two most important skills are 1) keeping pups entertained and 2) keeping pups safe. I will pretty much have an open schedule all week. I have a couple scheduled dog walks but am mainly working from home all day. I am home most of the day. I walk my dogs and client dogs every 2-4 hours and make sure everyone gets their energy out before bedtime. On scheduled walks, I typically provide thirty minute walks in my clients’ neighborhoods, making sure my little buddy gets their energy out. Plenty of water and treats are always offered.

I am a “retired” vet assistant, and have been working at animal hospitals for 6 years before starting my own pet care business. I have good experience administering medications as well as handling all sizes and personalities of dogs as well as cats. At our place, your dog will get lots of space to run around and explore on our property. If your dog is off-leash trained, that’s great! If not, they can still enjoy our backyard safely on leash. We have a whole “dog bedroom” full of toys and beds for your pup to relax in and/or play with other guests and my pup during down time. I love cuddles so your fur baby will get tons of attention and love! I can also provide additional services such as baths, nail trims, and other basic grooming needs. I am committed to keeping your pet happy, healthy, and safe! My boyfriend is part of my pet care business as well. Together, our life is almost 99.9% dog and we love it! Pet care is my full time business, so I have a couple hours of walks during the day. Besides that, I am home with my pups and furry guests. My boyfriend is typically home when I am not. Friendly dogs only please! We have a good sized backyard with lots of areas to walk nearby. The pups will get all of their energy out. Safety is my number one concern, while providing an enriching environment open to all of the cuddles!

About: My husband and I have a 7 year old German short haired pointer and a 10 year old Wheaten Terrier/King Charles Spaniel mix. They are both friendly with other dogs. They have free range of the house other than our living room couch. We have an Invisible fence brand around our yard and we live in a cul-da-sac in our neighborhood, which is also great for walks. I have taken care of my parents dogs when they are out of town and have stayed at many client’s homes the past several years to care for their dogs while they are on vacation. I would feed them twice a day and give potty breaks before and after work. Now I am a stay at home mom with my newborn daughter, so my schedule is flexible for walks, potty breaks, etc. I love spending time with dogs, whether it's outside playing or cuddling in the house. I have given my dogs medication to swallow when prescribed by their veterinarian as well as cleaning out their ears every 2-3 times a week for normal hygiene. I will follow all duties assigned to me to care for your pet. I am a stay at home mom with my newborn so my schedule is extremely flexible for feedings, walks, potty breaks, drop-ins, play times, day care, etc I will provide feedings, potty breaks, walks, inside/outside activities as needed/wanted per your request. We live in a cul-de-sac in our neighborhood which is great for walking, plus an Invisible fence around our wooded yard, which is great for playing fetch. Dogs are welcome to freely roam inside the home, other than on the living room couch. We have multiple dog beds, toys/bones, and water bowls around the house, plus two couches upstairs that the dogs are allowed on.
