Erica took her time with Leo, doing a meet and greet and test walk before and was patient in allowing him to gain trust in her. He’s making such great progress with Erica and it’s so nice to have found someone who is so sweet and loving towards him and who can be trusted. Erica is very reliable, coming at the scheduled time each day and even willing to make last minute adjustments when needed. About: Animal Care Technician with extensive experience with dogs, cats and rodents. Cannot train but am trained on proper handling, walking and administering oral medication. 19 years of experience with dogs from pup to elder (including dogs with medical issues) and 5 years experience with cats from kitten to elder (including cats with medical issues). I am currently not working and have a flexible schedule for anyone looking for booking! I will not be allowing boading or doggy day care at this time due to remodeling but I am willing to house sit, do scheduled drop in's and dog walking. My current schedule includes every day except for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings due to current client bookings. I do not currently house any pets but I have owned dogs and cats for years before and have extensive experience caring for pets of family and friends.

I am new to rover and still figuring out what works best but am always willing to work with clients on what works best for them and their pets. Animals are my first priority but I also believe homes and personal spaces are sacred and I will always treat them with respect and attention. All animals are different so its important to use to always be aware of anything potentially unsafe. Our home is for animals first and there is nowhere they aren't allowed although animal guests and clients are always fully supervised to make sure they are safe and comfortable. Our home is very easy going and has a lot of space for different needs and comforts. In your home, I will defer to your personal preferences always.

About: I am a service dog handler for the past 7 years. I have been training and caring for dogs for over 10 years. I'm the go to person in my friends and family for training and care advice of animals big and small. I have owned and cared for everything from small snakes to rodents and horses. I have worked as a dog trainer, a horse trainer, a groom, and I have worked on dairy farms since I was 14. Every morning starts out with letting the dogs out and farm chores. Followed by breakfast for the dogs. After breakfast we do 30 minutes of rest in kennels while I feed the family. The rest of the day is spent with enrichment toys and puzzle games. Training is spaced out throughtout the day in 10-15 minute sessions. At 8pm the dogs are let out on last time then kennel and dinner time for the night. Our dogs are friendly and out going. We live in a very rural area on 81 acres of hiking trails and farm land to explore. The dogs are always watched when outside. We do have a wireless fence system for dogs that are trained on the e collar and long lines for dogs that are not off leash trained. We have experience crate and rotating dogs with aggression/reactivity problems. I have rehabilitated and socialized dogs with traumatic past.

About: I’ve had pets all my life – cats and dogs. I can’t imagine having a home without animals. Currently, I have 2 very loving German Shepherds and a cat. I’ve used Rover for years to find sitters for my own pets and now that I’m retired I’m excited to fill some of my time looking after other people’s babies. Since I’m retired, I’m open to a variety of schedules. Ideally I would like to avoid night visits but am happy to drop in anytime during the day. I believe all pets should be spoiled and loved unconditionally. My first job was at a local, family owned pet store when I was 14. I’ve been caring for animals for 20 years and hope to continue to do so for years to come. I live in a quiet neighborhood away from the main road and traffic. I have a large, unfenched backyard surrounded by woods at the edge of the property.
