About: I have experience taking care of animals professionally in a boarding setting and within a vet clinic (as a technician, not a doctor). I have experience handling and caring for more ‘opinionated’ patients/animals. From dogs with stranger danger or ‘spicy’ cats. I have experience caring for diabetic and higher needs animals and particularly am rewarded by caring for older fur babies, cat and dog. I have a deep care for all animals and always want to provide the best care possible. I work from home and am able to bring my work wherever I am, so I can stay with animals who cannot be left alone for long periods of time. I take care to build rapport with animals and respect their communication, going slow and reading body language in order to understand their boundaries and provide the best care possible. I am available for drop ins on the weekends (Friday-Monday) and some weekdays depending on my schedule. I can follow medication routines, feeding routines and care needs such as crating, enrichment and training reinforcement (manners, already taught commands etc). I can clean litter boxes once per day.

“Where to begin. Colleen is quite literally the cutest and sweetest person we have ever had the privilege of meeting. We are first time parents to our newly adopted tortie kitten Bootsie. She’s four and half months old and is quite the handful, she’s also very attached to mom and dad. So it goes without saying we were a little nervous about leaving her side. Colleen came in and just blew us away with how patient and courteous she was to our fur baby from the start. We knew instantly we had found the perfect person to watch over her. About: I have worked around animals my who life. I have had dogs and helped raise them through all stages of life. I have my own dogs bear 3 who is a husky German Shepard mix and tank a jack Russell chihuahua mix. I love animals and have always enjoyed helping care for them! About: I’ve taken care of multiple family members cats/dogs while they were away or just at work. I typically stop in take them out, feed them, play with them outside, have stayed to watch them, etc. I currently work part-time so I have plenty of time to stop in at different times of the day or be flexible for different requests I understand that every pet is different so depending on what is preferred, we can discuss what exactly is needed for each visit or walk

I enjoy basic command training (self taught) and giving your pup the extra love and care needed while you're unable to be with them! I’m a professional dog sitter! This is my full time career adventure! Your pup will enjoy leaded walks, controlled environmental play time, and a cozy home (mine or yours) with all the attention your pup could want or need! I do not have a fenced in yard, but your pup will be safely walked with a lead on our two-plus acre lot or on local trails! Controlled environmental play time is offered to pups who are trained to listen off lead!
