“Jackie always does a fantastic job when watching my dog. There was some bad weather while she had Kiko and she let me know right away that they were all safe and that Kiko was in the basement with them. She sent updates and pictures throughout the weekend, and I always know Kiko is having fun and getting lots of love when he goes to Jackie's!”
“Allyson was amazing!! She sent pictures during our trip and kept us updated on how Pedro was doing! He was so happy and worn out when finally got home. Thank you so much!”
“This was our first time using Rover. Shawn and Melissa were quick to answer any questions, and we immediately felt comfortable leaving our lab with them. They sent pictures of Ruby and she looked like she was taking a wonderful vacation too. When we picked her up she was happy (not stressed like when we would pick her up from boarding places) and immediately got back into her home life. It was really great to see. You are all awesome! We will definitely use again.”
“Cheryl was really responsive and has a super welcoming and calm approach. She was great with my dog who had never been boarded or around other dogs! I’ll use Cheryl again!”
“Kylie & Landon took such great care of my dog, Murphy. They are good at communicating, really cared about making sure Murphy was comfortable, and didn’t get annoyed when I messaged for updates. They didn’t just “board” Murphy, they really got to know her. They noticed when Murphy was playing with dog toys, she usually had at least 2 toys in her mouth, one of her quirks. 😆 Murphy also plays so well with their golden retriever, Moe. We will be using Kylie & Landon again in the future.”
“The absolute best! Danielle kept us updated everyday while we were away, sent us pictures, and was flexible when our flight arrived late at night. Safe to say, Danielle will be our go-to sitter from now on!”
“Jill and family were wonderful hosts for my dog over Christmas. I highly recommend them for your consideration. Communication was prompt and cheerful. My first experience on Rover was a 10/10.”
“Danella was amazing . They took such great care of my pup and updated me every morning and night with photos . He came back happy and tired . Got along great either dogs who were so sweet .”
“Chelsea was amazing, she updated with pics and kept me in the loop on how my dog was doing. She is great I would definitely recommend and would let her watch my dog again!”
“Super nice family and very responsive. A loving vacay for our pup while the humans went on vacation. Would highly recommend having your pup or dog stay with them.”
“Doyle picked up and dropped off Bella at no extra charge; Bella returned happy, healthy, and clean; and Doyle was an expert communicator during the whole experience. I will use Doyle again if I find the need. ”
“Elvis loved his vacation while my partner and I were on ours! I felt he was very well cared for and the whole booking from beginning to end was flawless. Would recommend Sarah and Jason to any pet owner.”
“Derek was amazing with watching our very energetic puppy! She went on several long walks to get her energy out. We got daily photos and updates. It's nice leaving our dog to someone who is so knowledgeable and not worry about her while we were on our trip.”
“Bethany took such great care of my pup, Lucy. Lucy lost her eyesight fairly recently and Bethany made sure Lucy was safe and loved during her stay. We will be using Bethany again!”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NE ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
