“We hired Danae for a few days of drop-in visits to take care of our cat. She’s great and a definite pro. She showed up on time for her visits and sent us lengthy and descriptive reports each time, along with well shot photos. Our cat seemed to like her as well! Recommended!”

About: I have several years of experience dog-sitting in a variety of settings. I’ve helped run flyball shows, which gave me hands-on experience with high energy dogs in fast paced environments. I’ve also done long term overnight dogsitting for families who were out of town for multiple weeks, making sure their pets were safe, comfortable, and well cared for. In addition, I regularly do daily drop-ins for dogs in my neighborhood and for families I used to babysit for, building strong and trusted relationships with both pets and their owners. Right now, I’m working a full-time job Monday through Friday, so my availability is limited to weekends for drop-in visits (not overnight stays). Starting in early August, my schedule will open up, and I’ll be more flexible and available for a wider range of dog-sitting services. My dog-sitting style is all about making each dog feel like they’re with family. Whether it’s my own pets or dogs I’m caring for, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible—feeding times, walks, playtime, and even their favorite spots to nap. I make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable by giving them plenty of attention, treats (if allowed), affection, and exercise. My goal is always to make them feel just as happy and cared for as they do when their family is home.

About: I have a lifetime of experience living with and loving animals! I have always had a dog and a cat in my family, sometimes more than one of each. Because of this I bring a deep understanding of animal behavior to every pet care experience. Personalized care tailored to your furry family member is my utmost priority. You can depend on a calm, happy, and fun time with me! My schedule is open and I am willing to accommodate to any specific needs in order to make sure their furry family member is well taken care of. Any pet I take into my home will need to follow the basic rules I have for all animals that come here. I also understand varying needs client by client and will easily adjust as necessary. Once an acceptable agreement is reached, I will honor that absolutely and totally.

About: I’m a recent college graduate, excited to spend time with some wonderful doggies! I have cared for my family dog, Buddha for nine years. I have also helped family members and friends with house sitting, walk schedules, and doggy play dates! I am attentive to detail, capable of executing complex instructions, and treating your dog as if they were my own! I am a recent graduate from UCLA and working part time. I have a flexible schedule and am able to work around your pup’s specific needs! I will prioritize holistic care for your dog. In addition to quality time, I am able to complete complex instructions, walk schedules, housing needs, and more. I believe that my passion for dogs will ensure that you can maintain peace of mind away from your doggy.

“Danielle did a great job communicating with me and taking care of my dog. Buttercup had a medical issue come up last week and it didn’t seem to phase Danielle. This was my first time using Rover and I was very happy with the service I received. I will definitely see if Danielle is available the next time I need help with Buttercup.”

About: I've been caring for animals my entire adult life and after changing careers I decided to pursue something that makes me enjoy my work. I spent several years volunteering for a local shelter dealing with situations that included large and small breed dogs. Recently (the last 4 years) I've opened my home mostly to short term fosters that need a temporary place before finding forever families. This process has given my ample experience in home settings where I'm now extremely comfortable interacting with animals unfamiliar with me or a new environment. I can provide Play Time, Walking, Park Trips, Long Distance Day Trips, Feeding, and even Poo Removal. I'm new to Rover but you won't find someone with more practical experience and passion than myself so please get in contact if you would like to meet ! Currently I'm working part-time so my schedule is typically open 5 days a week but I'm sure arrangements can be made depending on the situation. I have a large fenced yard and three friendly dogs of my own to keep visitors company. If you require in home care I will treat your property as if it was my own.

About: I've cherished animals my whole life, caring for a diverse range including dogs, cats, birds, livestock, and reptiles. With extensive experience in training dogs, I consider all our pets as beloved members of the family. With my own business, I often work from home, and my husband, currently transitioning careers, attends college part-time. One of us is typically home, complemented by our part-time groundskeeper who tends to our animals and builds structures for them on weekdays. Additionally, we have a weekly gardener and housekeeper to maintain our home and garden. Our expansive backyard, nearly a full acre, is fully enclosed by a chain-link privacy fence. It features a spacious grassy area, automatic water systems for the dogs, and ample shade on the porch equipped with fans. For added security, we have commercial-grade cameras surveilling the property 24/7.

“We lost our Sitter of five years to her going off to college. We were very hesitant to use Rover or any online programs. We were shockingly pleased by Victoria. Her prices were fair.Victoria was amazing. She followed instructions to the tee. All my dogs loved her. She worked well, even with my timid bull boxer. She did so well with the dogs during the holidays that we had her come by two more days. We will be definitely using her again. Highly recommend her to anyone that needs a sitter.”

“Alexis continues to come through even when I have last minute requests. She is highly reliable and my dogs absolutely adore her. She pays attention to the smallest of details which gives me comfort. I will absolutely continue to use Alexis for the care of my pets. Thanks again Aleix!!”

Mayra Z.

“Mayra is always our first choice. She has taken care of our girl for the last three years when we go on vacation. She always goes above and beyond and is the absolute best!”

Michael T.

Eric H.

“Eric Hals has lived with pets, especially dogs, all of his life. He is loving, responsible, and knowledgeable about dog care and maintenance. He has always had dogs in his home, except for his college dorm rooms. He has raised dogs from puppyhood to their senior years. The dogs have all been friendly, well-socialized, and obedient. My dogs have been happy to socialize with his dogs. I recommend that Eric be included in your program. He would be an excellent asset.”

cali n.
“Cali cared for my late Pekingese, Pomerian mix, Fluffy. She lived a long life, until age 14. In her later years, she was partially blind and deaf. Cali was always accommodating, spending close physical time with Fluffy and adjusting to her downtime. Although Fluffy couldn’t always see Cali walking through the door, her scent was enough to send her straight to the door in excitement.”

This was my first time using Rover and I was very happy with the service I received. I will definitely see if Danielle is available the next time I need help with Buttercup.”

“Another great job!”

Derek W.
“Derek has been wonderful with my timid dogs. He's able to convince them to go on walks and enjoy some treats. He's one of the most animal savvy persons I know. My dogs have a high prey drive which Derek recognizes and can redirect them away from trouble. With my sweetest dogs, Derek cuddles up they feel very comfortable and safe with him. I love watching their tails wag and hearing their excited noises whenever they see him”

Rebecca K.
“This family did an amazing job watching our 4 dogs. They came back with shiny coats and lots of energy. The family seemed to keep them active most of the day, whereas when we’ve used boarding centers they only come out of the crates x2 a day and that’s it. This was a much better experience.”

Victoria B.

Bowen L.
“Bowen is an incredibly attentive and kind caregiver! You can tell that dogs adore him just as much as he adores them. He's great at keeping them entertained/active, plus out of mischief. He's also very knowledgeable about how to keep dogs healthy- physically, mentally, the works! He once took in a poor stray and got that puppy healthy and well-trained in a matter of no time. I'm always impressed by how even the rowdiest dogs listen to him!!”

Diana M.
“Diana has cared for my 7 cats and 1 dog many times over the years. She is always willing to go above and beyond to care for them. She loves all animals as if they are her own. It is beyond a relief to not worry when I’m away because I know my babies are safe and taken care of. I can’t recommend her enough and anyone would be beyond lucky to have her in your pets lives.”
