About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my whole life. My mom is a biologist so she taught me from a very young age how every living thing has a soul and a place in this world. She would pick up mice and spiders that got into our home with her hands and take them outside (instead of killing them). Needless to say, I am very comfortable around animals. I’ve had dogs and cats as pets my whole life and I consider myself pretty good with them, even when meeting stray cats or other people’s dogs in the street; I am very patient with them and always let them feel confident with me before I pet them. I have never house-sat for dogs before but I have taken care of roommate’s and friend’s dogs while they are at work or out of town, feeding them, and taking them for walks, etc. I have house-sat for my mom’s cat before (at the end of 2021, actually, for her birthday) which you can read about in my testimonials. Full-disclosure – I’m currently looking for a part-time job so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have a car so I can drive over to you, just let me know what your daily and weekly needs are so we can figure out a schedule :) I’m currently not allowed to have any fur babies at my apartment so I will give your pups all the attention and play-time they want. Like I said above, I’ll let them get comfortable with me at their own pace but, of course, take care of their basic needs like food, water, and walks. Just let me know how they do with other dogs on the street and with other humans – if they’re shy, really energetic, etc.

“Migle is awesome!! Huck immediately loved her from their first meeting. Sent photos of huck before, during, and after the walk which was very much appreciated. Will be booking again!”

“Victoria did a great job of walking Aki and keeping her from feeling restless during the day. It was a huge help to us and we would definitely book with her again. Aki took right to her from their very first meeting!”

“Robin was amazing! My dog, Leo, and I were in town for a work trip. Robin walked Leo while I was in meetings, and I know he had the best time. She took the most amazing pictures of him! I will definitely be using Robin again when we are back in New Orleans!”

“Alexis is the best! Was super attentive and loved on my pup while I was gone to make sure she was let out throughout the day. She gave me updates and kept Miss Mae entertained (and exhausted--a plus). Could not recommend Alexis more!! Will be booking with her again :)”

“Deana was wonderful with Oggi. Had her for a week to help out while I worked & he loved her. Professional, on time, followed all instructions & attentive noticing when he got tired or the heat was a bit much for him. If you want someone who will care for your fur baby I recommend her”

About: As a lifelong dog lover and experienced caregiver, I bring both passion and practical knowledge to every furry friend I meet. I've raised two wonderful dogs—a spirited Jack Russell Terrier and a charming Collie-Chihuahua mix—from playful puppyhood to gentle senior care. This experience has given me insight into the unique needs of various breeds and life stages. My experience as a dog sitter includes working with Golden Retrievers, Great Pyrenees, Collies, and Labs of all ages, including post-surgery care for dogs needing extra attention and love. One of my favorite daily activities is walking 5-6 miles, and I'd love for your pup to join me on these adventures. Whether it’s a gentle stroll or an energetic trot, I tailor walks to your dog's preferences and abilities. Rest assured, your four-legged companion will be in caring, capable hands. I work remotely for a nonprofit, which gives me the flexibility to incorporate pet care into my daily routine. Whether it’s a midday walk, an evening stroll, or weekend adventures, I can adjust my schedule to meet your dog's needs. My goal is to ensure your pet receives the care and attention they deserve, whenever they need it. I am currently not offering pet care in my home, as I’m focused on providing exceptional dog walking services and, secondarily, pet sitting in clients’ homes. My primary goal is to gain experience and build strong relationships as a dog walker before committing to overnight pet sitting or extended stays in clients' homes. For now, I’m dedicated to ensuring your dog gets the exercise, attention, and care they need during our walks.

“Laura was amazing with my anxious boy! She was patient, gentle, encouraging and flexible. She adjusts her approach entirely based on the personality and mood of the dog she works with, and consequently my dog is in love with her!”

About: Hello, my name is Erik. I'm a true dog lover who has been dog walking/pet sitting for over 15 years. I grew up here in New Orleans, and after being gone for several years I have returned home. I have a special connection with dogs and I love spending lots of time with them at the park playing ball, going on long walks, or just laying on the floor with them giving belly rubs . I know dogs are a special part of your family and finding someone who can take care of them is challenging. For that reason, I do my best to make them feel comfortable and treat them as if they were mine. I am a real estate agent here in the greater New Orleans area, and so I am usually out-and-about with clients during the day; for that reason, I am available most any day during the week while you are at work. I can also do afternoon, evening & overnight visits. I also like to spend about 30-45 minutes with each pet, so that they get the exercise they need during the day. I look forward to taking care of you furry baby! :)

About: I truly love getting to know each pet’s unique personality! I’ve cared for my sweet senior dog, Pip, who needed extra TLC, an adorably picky Shih Tzu, and Louise, a high-energy Lab who never runs out of zoomies. I’m all about matching their vibe—long walks and playtime for the energetic pups, cozy snuggles for the laid-back ones, and making sure even the most particular pets feel safe and happy. I’ve also lived with cats who want to cuddle 24/7 and others who are nonstop players, so I’m ready for whatever mood they’re in. My goal is to make every pet feel right at home! I am currently enrolled at Tulane, but I have an open summer to spend lots of time with your furry friend! When school starts, I will be a bit busier but I will have lots of time in the mornings, evenings and weekends to hang out with pets. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping them happy, comfortable, and relaxed in their familiar space. For cats, I follow their usual routines for feeding, playtime, and litter box cleaning, with plenty of patience for shy or special-needs cats like my own three-legged kitty, Sully. I love adapting to each cat’s personality—whether they want constant play, cozy snuggles, or just quiet company. For dogs, I make sure to keep up with their normal schedule for walks, meals, play, and potty breaks. I’m experienced with a wide range of dogs—from senior pups who need extra gentle care to high-energy dogs who love long walks and active play. I always focus on making them feel safe, loved, and entertained while you’re away. And of course, I know how important peace of mind is for you! I’ll send lots of photos and updates during each visit so you always know how your furry friend is doing.

About: I work 100% remotely and love spending time caring for pets. I have experience fostering and raising puppies and enjoy the unique challenges of training. As a sitter, I love to communicate regularly with the pet parents, sending pictures of their furry friend and I. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your beloved pet! - Amanda I work 100% remotely and can be around for your pet whenever, including weekdays and weekends. I am thrilled to have a very flexible schedule to meet your pets needs! I prefer to be in your home and ensure that your pet feels safe and comfortable in its own environment. I communicate regularly and love to send pictures. If you feel it’s best, please inquire about leaving your pet at my house; although the indoor space is relatively small, I have an entirely fenced in, grassy backyard.

“I can't say enough great things about McKenzie! She took such wonderful care of my dog while I was away! You can tell she genuinely loves animals and is incredibly responsible. She sent me regular updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I returned, my dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. It's such a relief to know I have someone I can fully trust with my pup. Highly recommend McKenzie to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter!”

Amanda T.
“Amanda is a diligent, responsible, and qualified pet caregiver with years of experience in both fostering and adopting animals. She is truly love an animal lover to her core, with a sense of loyalty, commitment, and care that is both remarkable and necessary when looking after furry members of the family. I believe her to be incredibly trustworthy, thorough, and thoughtful when it comes to animal care and could not recommend her enough when it comes to taking on this role and responsibility.”

Yona K.
“I have a cat, Luna, and whenever I was on holiday Yona looked after her. She did not only feed her but also made sure to spend quality time with her and give her the attention she deserves as well as playing with her so she doesn’t get bored. I know that Yona was always surrounded by animals and always acted in their best interest. When she moved to a big city she left her cat with her mum because there she had a big garden and woods around it, even tho it broke her heart. I’ve also seen Yona around dogs and I’ve never seen someone more excited about them. I can honestly recommend her and I would trust her with any of my pets all the time. She has such a calm and friendly personality that it is really a joy to be around her and I have yet to meet a pet that doesn’t like her.”
