“Shayna continues to be absolutely amazing with our high-spirited Jack Russell!! It’s such a wonderful feeling to know that we can go on a long trip and know that our dog is in excellent hands!!”

“Emma was great! Responsive, responsible, and great with my pup! I'm a sitter myself on Rover, so my bar is pretty high and I'm quite picky with who I let into my hope and who I ask to watch my dog. Emma was all green flags right away. She made it easy to set up a meet-and-greet. Came over and let me take the time to go over all the particulaties of the space (there were many) -- I've recently moved into my Grandma's home, as she died a few months back. Her keepsakes and belongings are still everywhere in the space, And I thought it would be nerve-wracking to let someone into that space with so many priceless (to me) items were still all over the place. Emma heard me out and made me feel confident that she understood where I was coming from and how special the space was to me. After an hour with Emma, I was totally at ease. My dog took to her right away, and I'm sure yours will too! Book Emma while you still can! As a sitter myself, I finally have another person to refer my clients to when I'm not available (it took years to find someone I'd trust with my clients). Emma will be my go-to when I'm out of town, and she should be yours too.”

“Meaghan was amazing! She stayed in our home while we were away. She fed and walked our dog each day, even picked up our mail, put our garbage can on the street for us, and even started washing the sheets and towels she had used. Very reliable. I only wish we would have had more updates. Usually Rover hires log walks and send images. I had to ask in order to get status updates. No biggie, just would have been ideal.”

About: Hi there! I’m Alisa, a dedicated and compassionate pet sitter who adores spending time with dogs and cats. I specialize in making pets feel at ease and comfortable, no matter their temperament or needs. With my gentle approach and keen attention to detail, I ensure your furry friend feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Whether it’s playtime, feeding, cuddles, or a walk in the park, I’m here to provide excellent care tailored to your pet’s unique personality. I understand how important your pets are to you, and you can trust that I’ll treat them like they’re my own. Let’s work together to make sure your best friend has a positive and stress-free experience while in my care! Feel free to reach out with any questions—I’d love to learn more about your pet and their needs! I work remotely and therefore can spend time with your pets at your home. This provides a steady presence for your precious animal(s) while you're away, and also ensures ongoing time to feed, walk, play, and cuddle with your pets. I am a trusted housesitter, having cared for many animals over the years (both my own and others).

About: I started taking care of friends' and neighbors' dogs after retiring in 2024. My lifelong love for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes is now my daily passion! As an active retiree, I don't have any pets currently, and the house is empty and waiting for my next furry friend! I've cared for everything from dachshunds to a Bernese Mountain Dog. I love cats, but I want to watch them in your home, not mine. Happy to house-sit, work overnight shifts, and care for senior dogs and puppies. Although I don't have a fenced yard, I do have miles of walking trails and parks in the community, as well as an electronic fence for any dogs that need unrestricted access to a yard. I am fully retired and spend my days caring for your pets. Rarely will your important pet be left alone, if at all. I used Rover with my senior dog, Tucker, for over 5 years and met some wonderful people. It was a relief to me when I traveled, knowing my best friend was also enjoying his time in a safe, loving home. Now I meet new animal friends every week, and it feeds my soul and theirs. Your fur baby will have a dedicated sleeping space, feeding space, and unlimited access to our yard, depending on your needs. Full access to the entire house. I encourage you to bring toys, pet beds, crates, and any other items that will make your cherished pet comfortable. We are comfortable giving medication to older dogs, working with young puppies, and customizing our days to fit your pet's regular routines (such as walks, feeding, medication, and brushing). We have access to a private dog park, but we only go there after discussing it with you in advance. Note: we have an unfenced yard but use sound/ vibration to alert your pup if s/he is trying to escape. No electricity involved, just moderate stimulation. Most dogs learn the boundaries very quickly and without any discomfort.

About: I’ve grown up primarily with large dogs, those dogs smaller alongside feline friends as cared for by my grandfather and I before his passing. Educating and reinforcing the significance of proper animal care in my calling to love on these furry friends with responsibility and compassion! I’m very flexible, just communicate your preferences and needs as I’ll happily make them happen in order to properly provide service to our furry friends! Providing service at the clients home looks like keeping up with a clean environment, annual check ups via phone with the owner while always remaining alert to the animal’s needs.

“Dayton is the dog sitter and person we have been hoping for and waiting for. She arrived right on time, and immediately connected with Tuli our German Shepherd. IYKYK how loud and scary a German Shepherd's bark can be when someone new arrives in her/our domain. Dayton was nonplussed, and Tuli felt totally comfortable with her instantaneously. Additionally, Dayton is a very kind, caring person and someone we will from now on ask to care for Tuli.”

“Simone had great communication and was amazingly flexible with our timing needs - during a holiday weekend on top of that! Having peace of mind while away was much appreciated. She was respectful and easy going. Would definitely have her back to watch my mischievous pittie anytime!”

“Majesty was fantastic. Professional, respectful, reliable, accomodating. I felt totally relaxed and confident Jake was in good hands. Majesty sent updates and photos frequently and followed food and medication instructions perfectly. Highly recommended!!”

“Alex is trustworthy, kind and thorough. She took excellent care of my two dogs, including my high maintenance 14 year old. I’m so happy I found her on Rover! Thank you Alex and thank you River.”

Alisa S.
“I met Alisa several years ago through a spiritual community we both attended, and has since become a good friend. She has taken care of both my home and my sweet Goldendoodle dog, Goldy, on several occasions, and sometimes for stays of up to 1 week long. Alisa takes the dog/house sitting job very seriously, and I know once she commits I can totally depend on her. She always follows all my instructions for both the dog and house care perfectly, and I can always tell once we get back home that Goldy has been well taken care of. I love that she loves to get out and exercise, so it's very easy for her to take Goldy on long walks everyday. And she's very caring of Goldy's need for companionship, to the point she'll actually take her places with her to make sure she's not left alone too much while in her care. I trust her 100% with my dog, and my home.”

Lisa L.
“Lisa was so caring and attentive to my Jagger. He loved hanging out with her and going for walks. She even worked on his commands.”
