About: I’ve had pets all my life. Growing up as a kid, we always had dogs and cats and I was responsible for feeding/watering them. We also had ferrets. I’m a huge animal lover. Im a stay at home mom and my schedule is pretty flexible. I have no issues letting the kids tag along IF your fur baby likes kids. I will make sure your fur baby is comfortable. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs of all sizes of dogs since I was little! Always had dogs growing up, that’s how my parents taught me responsibly! I worked a a dog kennel before and after I had my son. I’m now taking care of my grandfather, and full time mom with time on my hands to take care of your pups! I began training animals and providing pet care professionally in 1998. I have been an animal behaviorist for 5 years and hold a master's degree in clinical animal behavior. Anyone who tells you they can train your dog or fix any issues on just their walks with your pet is pulling your leg. What I can do, is care for your pet in your absence and work with you on any training and behavioral issues your pet may have. I have fairly open availability for drop ins and dog walks. I don't provide overnight care or boarding. Special arrangements can be made if you require training or behavioral assistance. I rely on the pet guardian's guidance in what routine their animals are comfortable with. I relay solely on positive reinforcement based training. I don't work with shock, pinch, prong, spray, or vibrate collars. As a professional in this field for over a decade, I highly recommend against retractable leashes for the mechanical failure and safety issues they cause. Feel free to look up images of the injuries they cause. Be warned, some are fairly graphic.

I have one dog of my own, Theo, who is extremely friendly and playful with other dogs. If your pet needs social time that you can’t always provide, Theo and I are happy to help! If your dog doesn’t do well with other dogs, I’m also happy to come to you instead or keep them separated as needed. I have been around dogs my entire life and used to foster dogs for local shelters as well. I have experience with training and teaching dogs basic tricks and manners. I am accepting of all breeds and sizes, and just ask that your pet is dog-friendly, kid-friendly and potty trained if they are to come over and hangout with us! We get up at 7every morning (after a few snuggles) for breakfast, then we go for a long walk. If we have pent up energy, we will take an extra trip to the dog park for some free running! Most of the day is quiet and includes lots of snuggles and naps. We have dinner around 8pm, after our evening walk. Currently, since I have an 2 year old son and 4 month old daughter, and I’ve chosen to stay home with them. This allows me to have a much more open schedule for pets. My fiancé and I also share the responsibility of pet sitting, so please inquire about specific dates as we may be able to have someone available at all times according to our schedule for those dates. Crates are required for boarding! I realize each pet is different, so I ask the owner help me personalize care for their unique pet! Normally I like to shower pets with love and play, for dogs that are reactive, have resource guarding, anxiety, or special needs, I modify my approach according to the owner’s preference.
