About: Hi! I currently have a boxer/shiba Inu and a rescue puppy. My boxer/shiba went through an intensive training program where I was taught how to train a dog as well so I’m great with dogs. I love dogs (maybe more than people lol) and whenever there’s a dog around me my heart melts and I just want to play with them and take care of all the pups!! I am currently a teacher and work Monday-Friday. I walk and/ or feed the pets I’m worked with before work and then again after work as well as play time. In the weekends I’m home all day long as well as in the summer months. I care for all animals as if they were my own. All animal get attention, scheduled meals, and exercise. I also have gates to separate animals if necessary.

About: I've been caring for animals since I was 7 years old, and my love for pets has only grown over the years. As an adult, I worked at an animal shelter, where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, needs, and backgrounds. I have also adopted and cared for three dogs of my own throughout every stage of their lives, from energetic puppies to senior dogs requiring extra patience, attention, and specialized care. This experience has given me a strong understanding of daily pet care, administering medications, recognizing changes in behavior, and providing the love and comfort pets need to feel safe and happy. I am currently in between jobs, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to provide your pets with the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. As a lifelong pet owner with experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, I understand how important it is to ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. From energetic puppies and playful kittens to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care, I am committed to treating every animal as if they were my own. I have a fully fenced backyard with a 5-foot chain-link fence, providing a safe and secure space for your pet to play, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. I do not have neighbors directly adjacent to my yard, so there is minimal concern about pets being distracted or stressed by animals on the other side of the fence. I am a lifelong animal lover and currently share my home with a senior dog, whom I've raised since she was 8 weeks old, and a young cat who has been part of our family since he was 8 weeks old as well. Having cared for pets through every stage of life—from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets requiring extra attention—I understand that every animal has unique needs and routines. When your pet stays with me, they will be treated like a member of the family. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where they can feel at home while you're away. I personally allow my pets on the furniture, but I fully respect each owner's preferences. If your pet has specific rules, routines, feeding schedules, medication needs, or restrictions, just let me know and I will be happy to follow them to ensure consistency and comfort during their stay. I believe communication is important, so I am also happy to provide updates, photos, and messages while your pet is in my care, giving you peace of mind knowing they are safe, happy, and well loved.

About: I am open to caring for any and all pets. As someone who currently has 3 Great Pyrenees, an Austrian Kelpie puppy, and other pets, I am experienced in all areas and types. I have open availability to care for pets. I work for myself so build my schedule around jobs and appointments as needed. I am very flexible with accommodations so please reach out if you have any questions. I do not offer overnight in home care at the moment due to all of my pets at home but will gladly stay at your home with your pet. I can send pictures and videos of your pet to you and don't mind cameras in the home so you can drop in any time and see your fur and/or scaly baby.

About: I have experience with all animal types including dogs, cats, horses, livestock, birds, pocket pets and some reptiles. I am a licensed vet tech so I am also comfortable medicating animals that need it. I have 7 dogs and 3 cats, all of which are friendly with other animals. I will treat your pets as if they are my own no matter if they are being boarded or just going for a walk. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding your pets and their needs while you are working, vacationing, etc. I can care for pets early before work, mid-day and late after work. On weekends my schedule can be more flexible depending on what activities I have going on. Any dogs that come into my home will be treated as if they were my own. I have a fenced backyard for the dogs to play in. Boarding dogs will have their own room to hang out in.

About: I grew up in a family of animal lovers and have been surrounded by them ever since! I affectionately call my dog and cat "the boys" and am always working to make sure they have the best life possible. I was a dog walker in Richmond and worked with many different types of dogs and temperament's. From French Bulldogs who hate skateboards to a Great Pyrenes mix who just wanted to cuddle. I cared for my childhood dog when he had cancer and have had my current dog since he was a puppy, giving me experiences in the many stages of life and health. I've worked with a trainer and am familiar with best leash walking practices and reading dog body language. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am able to spend much of my time on pet care and services. I am happy to take your pets on "field trips" to my favorite local trails if that is something you're interested in. Safety is of upmost concern for me. Your dog will always be on a lead or in a fenced in backyard. I have experience with leash aggression so I will also prioritize avoiding other dogs on walks when necessary.

I am attending VCU for my MSW M-F from 8-4, so I have limited availability for midday potty breaks/check-ins during the week, but I have open availability most evenings and weekends. For boarding requests, my partner works from my home and is available to offer potty breaks/check-ins for pets while I’m at school. I’m happy with staying overnight for housesitting or sharing my home for boarding! I have the utmost care and respect for my clients pets and homes and treat them as if they were my own. About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals cats, dogs, fish, and even plants! I love to help my friends, family, and more with walking their dog, feeding their cat, or watering plants! I work only a few days a week because I’m a stay at home mother so I would give your pup all my love. I’m available during the week from 11am - 8pm. I take my dogs on walks as well as play fetch at least once a day! I feed them twice a day and let them out every 2-3 hours. If i dog/cat sit for someone I go to their house 2 times a day to feed, walk, or whatever else I’m instructed to do.

About: Hi my name is Joyce and I love working with animals as I have many animals of my own. I have a pup, a baby hamster, a turtle and 2 fish. I love animals and I treat them like they are my children. My skills are walking my pup (this includes a nice walk, and picking up their feces with a plastic bag), bathing them when needed, feeding them and playing with them. I make sure my fish and turtle are fed and their tanks are cleaned and up to date. I also make sure my hamster is fed and his cage is cleaned and up to date. All other animals are treated the same with lots of loyalty, much respect and lots of love. I Have two friendly pups that will keep your fur baby company! But if your dog don’t get along with other dogs I can keep them separated to make your fur baby is more comfortable. She’s very playful and If needed I can easily crate her.
