“As always Joyce took really good care of Nala despite Nala’s desire to stay hidden. I appreciate the updates that Joyce provides, she is always good about the communication which is so appreciated when you are away from your animals, especially when they are elderly.”

“Kathryn was awesome with our cattle dogs. Millie has anxiety and can get stressed easily. Kathryn worked with our dogs well, gave Millie her medication and played ball with our dogs daily while we where away 5 days. She checked on our cats and showed up on time everyday, gave us good updates and made sure our house was secured when she left everytime. Kathryn will be our go to person for our next vacation.”

About: Hi there! My name is Bonnie and I have been caring for animals since I was a child. I have experience with all kinds of animals from cats and dogs to horses and dairy goats. Currently, I share a home with two awesome cats named Dillon and Hammy, a dog named Jolene, and some chickens. I have veterinary experience as well. My veterinary career started in 2010 when I worked as a kennel attendant. I worked my way up to becoming a surgical technician before leaving the field to have a family. I can help with pets of all kinds including special needs. Contact me for availability today! I have a child, so my availability depends on childcare. I'll do my best to accommodate client schedules, but my little one takes priority in my life. I will care for animals in your home. For drop in visits, I can let pets out to potty, administer medication, and exercise/play with your pet. For walking, I can walk your leash trained pet in a safe neighborhood or take them to a nearby park.

“Kendra was wonderful and able to step in last minute for me and my girl. She stayed in touch, and my fennie loved her, and I knew that to be true because she doesn’t get comfortable on anyone else but me. Always appreciative for Kendra’s help and will definitely rebook her”

About: This is my first time trying to get into professional pet care, however, I have spent my entire life living with and taking care of pets. There hasn’t been a single moment where I have lived without cats or a dog in my home. I absolutely love getting to spend time with these animals as I find their companionship to be so rewarding. I find many animals seem to enjoy my own company, whether it’s due to my calm nature or inability to refuse petting them if they ask for it! I have no special skills to report, but I will say that I am happy to learn all there is about your furry best friend(s) to make sure you, and more importantly, they, are comfortable and happy. I’m currently available any day of the week to take care of your pets! No time is a bad time for me, unless it is very late in the day. I will care for your pets in your home by following any instructions you have given me for their safety and care and always keep an eye and ear on them. If I am taking your dog on a walk, I will make sure we stay clear of any visible signs of safety hazards and confrontation with other dogs/people.

“Kris is a good sitter. He comes on schedule, communicates well, and treats your home and pets with the care they deserve. He has stepped up for me on short notice, and always does a good job.”

About: Hello! I am Cami, a fishieries technician in the Portland area. I have 3 dogs back home in Alaska (Pongo, Sugar, and Peanut), but currently live in Portland for work. I grew up always having at least 3 dogs in the house and my mom and I have fostered about 45 dogs since I was 14 years old. I am used to the care and attention that goes into watching a dog and making them happy. I love all animals so much and I miss being around my dogs all the time, which is why I joined Rover! I hope to work with animals my entire life and am pursuing a career in either veterinary medicine, wildlife biology, or zoology. If you need help I would love to spend some time with your babies and keep an eye on them whenever! I take my dogs for walks, runs, hikes and to the park all the time when I am back home and it is so fun to me. I just started a full time job so sadly I am not the most available at the moment. Feel free to reach out anyway to see if your needs happen to line up with my free time or if your pups/kitties can be alone for 8 hours! I have taken care of countless dogs throughout my life and am very sure to never be irresponsible when it comes to the safety and care of your pets.

About: Ask for my promo code for $20 off your first booking!! Hello, I am a full time student as well as a momma! I am home every weekend as well as holidays and love animals so this is a perfect fit! I do have the whole summer off as well! All pets are welcome but I do require that they be friendly if they are staying overnight at my home because I have dogs of my own! My hours are very flexible, so please feel free to message me if you have any questions about my schedule! I understand pets are family and I will take care of them and treat them as such! Your little ones will be in great hands with me! Thank you! I go to school online and I work as a preschool teacher so I’m home all summer, holidays and weekends with my pup and kid. All dogs are fed separately to prevent any mishaps! If for any reason I have to leave the pups unsupervised my dogs have kennels that they go in to make sure the pups aren’t unsupervised together.

“This was the first time we had left our kitties alone for the weekend, so it was so reassuring to have Theresa stop in to check in them. We are so glad to have found her and know our kitties are in good hands!”

About: Hi there! I've done dog sitting for friends and family in the past and I always have a great time. I enjoy spending time outside going on walks or runs with pups or staying home to snuggle. I have a 8 to 5 job during the week so I would be available for pet care in the mornings, evenings, and weekends. If your home is nearby, I could potentially stop by during my lunch hour for a mid-day walk, if necessary. I have a car so transportation is not an issue. I am very responsible and would be respectful and caring in your home. I'm doing this for the double benefit of getting some dog-time in my life and extra income to pay off student loans!

“Sharon was so kind and compassionate to our sweet boy, Lestat. It's not easy leaving your blind, seventeen year old fur baby with just anyone. She did everything we asked in regards to his care and gave him lots of Love and attention. He was in good spirits when we picked him up. We don't thank you enough Sharon! We would recommend her to anyone needing care for their fur baby!”

“An absolute life saver! She watched over Nemesis(b+w cat) and Phoenix(b cat) for a little over two weeks and on short notice. She sent me plenty of pictures AND let me come and visit them for a bit while I was in the process of buying a house. She’ll definitely be the first person I call if I need either my dogs or cats watched”

“I've never met anyone quite as good with Dogs as Cami. She has always treats my dog, Sugar, great, and Sug is always so happy to see her. When we were kids traveling in Chile we went to an all you can eat steakhouse. Cami, eight at the time, had been feeding the stray dogs and asked the waiter if she could take some bones out for them. The waiter brought an entire bag which Cami proceeded to hand out to every stray in her path. Her dream is to open an animal shelter later on and she helped foster puppies for years. There is literally no one more uniquely qualified to babysit dogs than her.”
