About: I have been around animals my entire life and grew up caring for dogs, cats, fish, chickens, goats, and horses. My family has always had dogs, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Before focusing on college softball, I trained and showed dogs as well as competing in Western Pleasure and barrel racing with horses. These experiences taught me responsibility, patience, and how to confidently care for animals. I will treat your pets like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. Pet care fits very easily into my weekly routine since I’m currently home for the summer and have a very flexible schedule. I’m taking online summer classes, but I’m able to adjust my study times and work around pet care needs, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Almost any time of day works for me, and I’m very open to compromising and coordinating with clients to fit their schedule. I’m used to managing busy routines, so I stay organized, communicate clearly, and am reliable with consistent pet care times. I prioritize safety, consistency, and respect for every pet’s environment. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, horses, and more, and I’ve also helped train and handle dogs in different settings. I pay close attention to behavior and body language, use secure leash handling, and follow any owner instructions carefully.

About: I have taken care of a wide range of animals. I have experience with “bully” breeds, puppies/kittens, seniors, medical needs pets, and very large and very small breeds. I previously volunteered at the humane society. I personally have had dogs, cats, and many other types of animals. I am available to care for your pets in the mornings, afternoon, and evenings Monday-Sunday. I do have a family and other employment but I balance my schedules well. To me pet care is more of a fun thing to do that happens to be a way of supporting my family than a job. During visits I typically feed, let outside or walk pets, clean litter boxes if need be, and play/cuddle with pets. I care for pets as if they are my own, always looking out for their needs, and communicating with my clients as I would want to be communicated with. I understand and know how to navigate animals’ boundaries to make pet care fun and safe for your pets, as well as safe for myself. I will treat your home with the utmost respect. Your pets will be safe with me!

About: Hi! My name is Jasmine, and I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was surrounded by both large dogs and cats, which helped me become comfortable caring for pets of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Over the years, I’ve also cared for the pets of family, friends, and neighbors, providing feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and plenty of love and attention. I am a responsible, dependable, and compassionate caregiver who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. My experience growing up with big dogs taught me how to confidently handle larger breeds, while living with and caring for cats has helped me understand the importance of patience and respecting each pet’s unique personality. I know that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience for both you and your pet, along with regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! 🐾💕 As I work toward my goal of becoming a nail technician, I have the flexibility to provide attentive and dependable pet care. I’ve always loved animals, and pet sitting is a rewarding way for me to spend my time while building my career. I make it a priority to keep pets on their regular routines and give them plenty of attention, companionship, and care. I provide loving, reliable care tailored to each pet’s routine and personality. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home, hosting them overnight in my home, stopping by for drop-in visits, or taking them on walks, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. For boarding and overnight stays in my home, pets will have a clean, pet-friendly environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise. My apartment community includes a dog park and a dog washing station, which are great amenities for active dogs. I also have two cats, so any pets staying with me should be comfortable around cats. For drop-in visits and house sitting, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, potty breaks, litter box cleaning, playtime, medications (if needed), and lots of affection. I understand how important consistency is for pets, especially when their owners are away. I also provide regular photo and message updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and receiving the care they deserve. I treat every pet like family and strive to make their time with me a positive experience.

I injured my knee so taking the dogs on a walk during lunch is impossible at the moment. Natalie was super helpful and communicative so I'm very happy with her, and the dogs were super happy and tired (thankfully) after their walk! I know my two younger dogs can get a little crazy but she didn't seem to mind at all. I definitely recommend Natalie.

About: I’ve really been taking care of dogs since I was just a kid. From our own family giant schnauzer Max, to watching neighbors dogs while they went out of town including a yorkie named Bo and two corgis Hoover and Jersey. I’m comfortable around all sizes and personalities of dogs! I also have two kitties of my own that I love dearly. A 9 year old love bug orange girl, and a spunky 3 year old girl tabby. My 9 year old has a heart condition and needs extra care and daily medicine, so I am well versed in administering special medications and adhering to any special needs/care. So I have all the freedom to be available for all your fur babies needs. When caring for your babies in your own home, my too priority is keeping their routine and environment as consistent and stress-free as possible. I’ll make sure to follow your feeding, walking, and playtime schedule exactly as you describe, and I’m happy to handle specific needs like litter box cleaning and fresh water throughout the day. I have experience giving my own cat her pills every night, so I’m comfortable and confident administering oral medications on schedule. For overnight stays, I’ll keep your fur baby company through the evening and night so they never feel alone. I always make sure doors, gates, and windows are secure, keep an eye out for any hazards, and lock up when I come and go. About: Hi there! I’ve spent my life surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes, from energetic pups and cuddly cats to chatty parakeets and even a hedgehog or two! I’ve personally cared for 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 parakeets, providing each with a loving, attentive home. Over the years, I’ve also looked after countless pets for friends and family, always making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. Whether your pet is furry, feathered, or something in between, you can count on me to treat them like one of my own. I specialize in multi-pet households and understand how to balance different needs, personalities, and routines. Whether it’s a walk around the block, some playtime in the yard, or just keeping your pets company while you’re away, I’m committed to making sure each one feels safe, seen, and loved. With me, your pets get a caregiver who’s full of positive energy, patience, and a whole lot of heart. As someone who works part-time, I have the flexibility to dedicate a large portion of my day to pet care. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime, I can easily fit your pet’s routine into my own. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life, and I always make sure each pet gets the attention, love, and activity they need to feel happy and comfortable. Please note: During house sits, I spend the majority of my time at your home, making sure your pets receive plenty of attention, companionship, and care. The only exception is that Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays I am typically away for work from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Outside of those hours, I'm dedicated to spending quality time with your pets and keeping their routine as consistent as possible. If your booking is made more than a week in advance (or with at least one week's notice), I may be able to adjust my work schedule to provide even more availability. Feel free to ask, and I'll do my best to accommodate your needs! When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat them like family. I always take time to get to know each pet’s personality, routine, and preferences so I can provide the most comfortable and familiar environment possible. In the client’s home, I stick closely to your instructions and your pet’s usual schedule, whether that means feeding, walking, administering medication, or just spending quality time with them. I’m respectful of your space, clean up after myself (and your pets), and make sure everything is just as you left it.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Ingle. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Ingle.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Ingle. On Rover:

  • 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 99% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
