About: My work with animals started when I was just 10 years old, volunteering at a family friend’s dog daycare. What began as a childhood passion turned into over 15 years of hands-on experience working with animals of all shapes, sizes, breeds, and temperaments! Over the years, I’ve worked at several dog daycares, volunteered with shelters and rescue organizations, completed an internship at a nonprofit feline shelter and spay/neuter clinic, and worked as an Animal Control Officer. I also have experience in animal behavior and training, with a particular interest in behavioral rehabilitation, socialization, and working with dogs who need a little extra patience or understanding. I remain heavily involved in animal rescue, particularly with Belgian Malinois and German Shepherds, and regularly help foster, evaluate, and rehabilitate dogs in need. At home, my husband and I have quite the little zoo! Our family includes five large dogs (four Belgian Malinois and a German Shepherd), five cats, and some exotic pets. Having such a diverse household has given me extensive experience with different species, personalities, care requirements, and the importance of safely managing a multi-animal home. I’m also trained in pet CPR and first aid, have experience with pet nutrition, and offer basic grooming care, including bathing, nail trims, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning. I’m comfortable administering medications, caring for senior animals, and accommodating pets with special needs or behavioral quirks. I understand that every animal is an individual. Some want to spend the day playing, exploring, and staying active, while others would much rather curl up on the couch and enjoy some company. My goal is to make your pets feel as comfortable, safe, and loved as possible while you’re away. Whether that means extra exercise, enrichment activities, maintaining their usual routine, or making room for one more in bed, I’m happy to accommodate! I know how difficult it can be to trust someone else with your animals, especially when they have unique needs. As someone with a houseful of my own, I completely understand. I treat every animal in my care with the same patience, attention, and affection I give my own. A little note for fellow pet professionals: I’m always open to discussing reciprocal pet care arrangements with other experienced, qualified, and trustworthy sitters. Sometimes the best support system is another animal person who understands exactly what goes into caring for our four-legged (and occasionally eight-legged!) family members. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! 🐾 I’m fortunate to work from home while continuing my education and pursuing a career in nursing! I work on-call, after-hours shifts in healthcare, which allows me to remain home for the majority of my workday. Occasionally, I need to step out briefly to see a patient, but these visits are typically short, and pets are rarely left alone for more than a couple of hours. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m able to spend plenty of time with the animals in my care, providing regular potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, playtime, and lots of attention. Caring for animals is already a huge part of my everyday life, so welcoming a few extra furry friends fits naturally into our routine! Safety is always my number one priority when caring for animals! With my background in Animal Control, animal behavior, training, and rescue, I’ve learned just how important it is to provide a safe, structured, and comfortable environment for every pet, regardless of their personality or needs. Our home has a fully fenced yard with plenty of room to run, play, and explore. We also have spare bedrooms, extra crates and kennels, baby gates, and designated spaces that allow us to accommodate different personalities, routines, and comfort levels. Whether your pet enjoys socializing with other animals or would prefer their own quiet space, we’re happy to make accommodations! We’re very intentional about preventing accidents. Food, medications, cleaning supplies, and other potentially hazardous items are kept securely stored to prevent accidental ingestion. Pets are supervised during outdoor activities and interactions with other animals, and we never force introductions or allow unsupervised interactions between resident pets and guests. Our own dogs are crate-trained, which allows us to safely separate everyone whenever necessary. One of the biggest benefits of our household is that someone is almost always home! On the rare occasion we both need to step out, we make sure every animal is safely secured in an appropriate space. I’m also happy to accommodate crate routines, feeding schedules, medications, and any special instructions your pet may have. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I take the same approach while respecting their established routines and environment. I make sure doors and gates are secured, food and medications are handled appropriately, and pets receive the attention, exercise, and supervision they’re accustomed to. I understand that trusting someone with your pets is a big deal. As someone with a houseful of animals myself, I know how much peace of mind comes from knowing they’re safe. My goal is to provide the same level of care, patience, and attention to detail that I expect for my own animals, while keeping you updated with photos and messages along the way!

About: Love all animals I’ve had cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, birds and raised pigs. I am at home part time for all your fur babies needs and my husband is home multiple times throughout the day I work part time my husband is home all throughout the day until I get home. I have a very flexible schedule and available weekdays and weekends I have a very large, fenced backyard and a fun and friendly little guy Bingo who loves to play, sunbathe and go on walks daily

About: I began dogsitting for close friends last year before deciding to make profile on Rover. I’ve had dogs and cats for most of my life. I currently have dogs of my own, and caring for them is part of my everyday life. I have experience with dogs of all ages, including senior dogs. I can give them plenty of love and attention, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and treated like part of the family. Taking care of animals is second nature to me. I have open availability for boarding and can house up to four dogs. I will follow dietary instructions and feeding schedules given. I have a fenced backyard for your dogs to run around and play in, I can feed your dogs separately from mine, and watch them closely.

About: I was raised on a ranch with numerous pets, including many dogs from a young age. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in training puppies and caring for senior dogs. I have a genuine passion for puppy training and continuously seek out new methods to effectively teach them. Additionally, I am well-versed in giving medication to dogs when they require it. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as a stay-at-home mom with a 1-year-old while also attending school. Most of the care happens throughout the day alongside my normal responsibilities at home. I make time for feeding, letting the pet outside or going on walks, cleaning up after them, and making sure they get attention and exercise. Since I am home most of the day, I am able to monitor their needs and keep a consistent schedule. I usually plan pet care around my child’s routine and my schoolwork, such as feeding in the morning and evening and taking care of walks or playtime during breaks or nap times. Being home gives me the flexibility to balance caring for both my child and my pet while staying organized with school responsibilities. I have a secure, fenced patio and two friendly dogs to keep your pups company. If necessary, I can separate them. My dogs and I take daily walks, and we would be thrilled to have your furry friend join us. Visits to the dog park are also on the agenda if it's an activity your pup enjoys!

About: Hey dog lovers, My name is Alexis. I started walking dogs when I was 12 for the elderly and I loved it because I was helping people who are not able to walk or people who don't have time. Around the same age, I did volunteer work at the SPCA. I don't have the time to have a dog of my own full time (let's face it, they are like kids). I was raised around dogs in my youth and took care of them all my life, so i have plenty of experience. I also have been walking for WAG for 4 years and have a 5 star rating. As well as references and reviews! They will be treated like my own fur babies. I provide a doggy bed and treats. I’m available anytime now. I’m a full time student and this is going to be my priority until I finish schooling. I will have plenty of time for your pup! I have a house that I own in a very great community! The community I live in has a field for dogs and lots of places to walk. I do have a backyard but it has not been fenced in yet.

About: I've taken care of pets about half my life and always clicked with all kinds pets and relied on for many pet needs of the family. I have a pretty open schedule so it fits just fine in my routine and daily life caring for pets of all kind. It works great I tend to the needs and necessary care of the pet or pets rather it be my home or clients. Everything will be taken cared of and pets leaving happy.

I grew up with 2 dogs and 1 cat that I loved the most. I cannot wait to meet all your fur babies! I work a full time job currently working from home. I love my job, but I have a strong passion for taking care of animals. I dogsit/catsit every chance I get. I'm everyone's go to person when they need someone to take care of their pet. I'm reliable and have had 10+ years of experience with dogsitting and catsitting I live in SF in a dog friendly home/neighborhood. On the weekends, I'm usually out and about exploring SF! :) I work from home so it’s easy for me to take the dog out! I can easily accommodate your schedule and instructions. Each dog is different so happy to be flexible I live in a dog friendly neighborhood! I usually spend my days indoor or going in hikes. I have a pretty big room/living room for them to run around.

About: I grew up in a big family with a bunch of pets. We had dogs, cats, chickens, even bunnies. I’ve taken care of fur babies up until they were grown 🐕 Your babies are safe with me🐶 I have had way too much free time lately, I thought what better way to occupy it than with a fur baby by my side I live in a gated apartment neighborhood. I can provide frequent potty breaks, walks, as well as time outside if preferred. I do have a safe and minimalist home with everything your fur baby would need. Extra bowls, toys, etc.
