About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life, from my first Jack Russell Terrier to a sweet (and feisty) Chihuahua and a lovable Morkie. All of my pets (except for my current Maltese-Yorkie mix, Dolly) have been rescues, so I’m well-versed in understanding the different needs of dogs from all walks of life. Growing up, I also took care of my neighbors’, friends, and family’s cats and dogs, which gave me even more hands-on experience with a variety of animals. “Everything about Joey and Zuzu's stay was PERFECT! We've only had Zuzu (rescued) for a few weeks; he has some "quirks", had no idea how he'd do, but Joey put us at ease during the meet & greet - he has a wonderful demeanor, his philosophy on having/treating/educating dogs is the same as ours, his place is great (lots of space, personal attention, socialization, etc etc). Communication was great, we were accommodated when drop-off time changed last minute, received pics/videos during Zuzu's stay, and received very helpful feedback on Zuzu when we picked him up. I’m also available for walks and enrichment activities during drop in visits. My schedule is varied but I I’m available up to five days a week and can accept last minute bookings! I know how stressful it is to find reliable, safe pet care and my flexible schedule allows me to be there to help others. Our dogs are all crate trained and have access to lots of in home enrichment opportunities. I have a large unfenced yard for overnight boarding, and have two very friendly female dogs who enjoy meeting new friends. I’m available for walks and drop in visits.
