About: We've had 2 dogs who have unfortunately left us. Mickey was an 80 pound pit bull that I did everything with - walking, running, hiking,sleeping, traveling. I still miss him every day. One year after his passing we adopted a senior (9 yo) pit bull mix, Bella. Shortly after adopting Bella she was found to have heartworm. We were able to nurse her through the treatments back to health. Bella was a lazy girl who didn't have the energy level Mickey did but she was sweet and we spoiled her the 2 years we had her. I miss having a dog but my wife said "no more." Providing a service through Rover will help me get my "dog fix." Although I have used to pronoun "we" in my pet care experience that refers to our past 2 dogs. Going forward I will be the sole provider. I am retired so I have all kinds of free time to provide daily walks and the option for having overnight stays in our home. We have had dogs for 13 or so years and I am very capable in providing the care and attention to safely provide for them.

“So kind! Lisa kept me updated all throughout my cats time there, sending me multiple photos daily. She had fresh litter waiting and plenty of beds for them to lay in. She kept them company and showed them lots of love for me while I was gone. Communication was great and I appreciate all of her help.
