About: Dogs are part of our family. I’ve had a pack of small and medium dogs in the house for years. In the last year two passed away and two moved out with my kids. My dog is lonely so what better way to fill in then add new friends. I love little old dogs (I miss my two) and middle size balls of energy. My two cats are dog friendly and even join in the play. I’m afraid I can’t accommodate big dogs at this time. I really prefer dogs 35 pounds and under I don’t take a bunch of dogs at any particular time because I want to have the focus on your baby. I do dog daycare too I have a soft spot for the small breeds, I’ve had plenty of experience to work with anxious dogs, energetic dogs, and elderly dogs. I work from home most days and so my work is very fluid and I can play with the dogs. Let them in and out and give them the attention they need. I occasionally leave the house for meetings and I do crate visitors to keep them safe while I’m out. I do not accept drop offs before 7am or after 8pm. Please check with me if you need times outside those hours. I only accept altered dogs. They need to have been altered at least 4 weeks before their stay. We have a breeding pair and we can’t risk it Thank you!!! I have a fenced yard in the back. It is very dog friendly. There’s lots of grass and places to play. My home has luxury vinyl floor so accidents are easily cleaned up.

About: Cats? I'm your person - I have 9! Concerning Kitties: I have experience with medication and higher-needs care. One of my cats developed neurological FIP, and my partner and I helped care for her throughout treatment, including administering medication and closely monitoring her health. She recovered, and that experience taught me how important patience, consistency, and attention to detail are when caring for an animal. As a full-time student, pet care fits really well into my routine! My schedule gives me flexibility throughout the week, including mornings, evenings, and around my classes. I’m looking to use that flexibility doing something I genuinely enjoy while earning some extra income. I’m happy to work with each owner’s schedule and make sure their pets receive consistent, dependable care while they’re away. I take every pet’s routine seriously and make sure to follow the owner’s instructions closely, especially for animals with specialized needs. With reptiles and amphibians, I understand how important proper temperatures, humidity, feeding schedules, enclosure security, misting, and species-specific care can be. I’m also comfortable with insects, rodents, and other feeding routines that some sitters may not be experienced with.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life, and in recent years, my family and friends have trusted me to take the very best care of their pets. I’m currently a full time student, and I work part time as well. I’m hoping to earn some extra cash by spending time with some fur babies. I’m available Monday/Wednesday evening, Tuesday before 3pm, and all hours Thursday - Sunday! I strive to make sure all pets I take care of are as comfortable as possible. The safety of your pets is my absolute number one priority.

About: I have had dogs since I was young all ranging from puppies to elderly dogs. I enjoy taking them on walks and taking good care of them! I am currently working part time so I have quite a bit of free time to ensure your pets are very well taken care of. I live in an apartment that is very dog friendly. There are 2 fenced in dog parks right outside of my apartment and lots of walking area and parks around me.

About: I've been an animal lover as long as I can remember. When I was 9 years old, my Dad got me my first Golden Retriever for Valentine's Day 1998. Her name was Star. I wanted a Golden because I fell in love with Shadow from "Homeward Bound". Star was my best friend, and we trained together in Canine Good Citizenry and agility. She could jump through hula hoops, over my arm, and she knew all sorts of tricks. I also love horses and used to spend summers and spring breaks on my cousin's farm in Apopka, Florida where she was the Barn Manager for a gal who rode in the Irish Olympics for the Equestrian Team. I had my own horse when I was younger, but we sadly had to sell her when my mother passed away when I was 9 years old. I've had dogs and cats off and on my entire life, but sadly, I just recently moved to Oregon and do not have any pets of my own right now for a few reasons: The first is that I'm working diligently to get established in Oregon and currently have a Mon-Thursday schedule with the City of Salem that requires me to be away from home for over 10 hours a day. Second, my roommate has a sick and aging cat who is not doing well, and we do not want to stress him out by adding pets to the house right now. Hopefully, my roommate will be able to reconsider when things change, but for now, Bok Choy (and his comfort) is our main priority at my house. Third, I'm hoping to move my Dad out to Oregon within the next 3 years, but for now, he is living alone as a retiree in Georgia, where I grew up. He is very attached to our dog Hank, and even though I'm definitely Hank's favorite person, I couldn't stand the thought of separating those two because I felt like my Dad needs Hank more than I do as Hank is his reason to get up in the morning! I miss Hank more than words can express, but I think we made the right call because Hank does not like being alone, and Dad can accommodate this as he is retired whereas I am in the main career years. I have previous dog sitting experience, but sadly, my identity was hacked, and I lost all of my photos on my Facebook account and lost many of my contacts through my old email address that I lost access to. I have also done amateur dog training and hope to get a professional certification in dog training within the next 12 months. I am happy to house sit during my work week if you only have cats that need tending after office hours. I won't be accepting house sitting for dogs unless there is an understanding of my work schedule and the dog has access to a doggy door and a yard or puppy pads are used during the day. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who can be with your dog during the business day instead of requesting me if you have dogs and need assistance during my work week (Mon-Thurs). This is a Side Hustle for me, but it also the more meaningful of my jobs because I love animals more than anything else in this world, and being around them is good for my mental health. I currently work Monday-Thursday until 4:30PM so it will be difficult for me to provide overnight dog sitting until Thursday after 5 PM unless your dog has access to a doggy door or puppy pads. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who does this full time if you need assistance during business hours Monday-Thursday. When I am at your house, your pet is my priority. If they need exercise or stimulation, we will make that happen. I will almost feel guilty for getting paid for it because it will literally be my pleasure. I will ask you to leave detailed instructions that will make my life easier and expect you to extend trust to me to do my job well. I understand it is difficult and that trust is earned and not freely given, but we need to have a clear discussion before you leave about what your expectations are so I can decide If I can meet those in a way that will not cause me undue anxiety. If you need someone after 5PM Mon-Thursday or anytime on the weekends, I am your sitter!

About: I've been around pets my whole life and love animals and I am quite good with them. I've pet sit and walked many times before. I am extremely responsible and currently work another job. I've taken care of farm animals and domesticated and enjoy helping others. I do have a part time job I can work anytime past 230 on weekdays and full time starting as early as ever on weekends. In my home I am in charge of feeding and cleaning after all my pets and making sure they are getting played with enough. My life is quite flexible, so pet care fits easily into my routine. I prefer jobs where I'm able to stay in charge of how the work gets done, since that's when I feel like I can give my best contribution. When I'm caring for a pet in their own environment, I make sure to respect their space and routine completely, from where they're allowed to go to how they're used to being handled.
