About: I have had multiple different pets through my entire life ranging from big to small. I have petsat multiple times throughout my life and in the past six months. I dogsat within the past two months, carrying for an elderly dog that required extra assistance and an adult dog. I’ve owned cats all 20 years of my life. I have a deep and immense passion for caring for them, and showing them attention as well as providing company to them. I live with three cats, ranging from kitten to senior cat, one a rescued stray. I provide them with the best life possible, with love and care. i have had ill pets that required medicine in the past, and administer medicine for my current cats routinely as well as basic care such as feeding, cleaning after, brushing, replacing food and water regularly, clipping their nails, letting them in and out of the house as needed, and bathing if needed. :) Each day I feed my 3 cats of all ages, and place out fresh multiple times throughout the day. I also regularly change the litter box, clip their nails, administer medicine such as flea prevention medication, and show them love and attention when they allow it. One of my cats requires patience and attention as she suffers from anxiety and does not like to be around people as a result. Beyond my 3 years in the grooming salon, I have also volunteered at the local animal shelter and have become a pet sitter for my family and friends. My work schedule is 9AM to 5PM, I can be available before 9AM and after 5PM. I am off work on weekends which gives me plenty of time for weekend walks/visits. I have 20+ years experience working with various species of pets including dogs, cats, birds, mice, rats, fish, snakes, hamsters, gerbils, goats, horses, and donkeys! About: I was a volunteer at a local animal shelter from ages 14 to 18, my experience includes puppies, dogs, senior dogs, kittens, cats, senior cats, and feral cats. Part of my job was to help rescue animals from hoarding situations and socialize them, with proper space and respect of course. It was a very long, yet rewarding process. Unfortunately, I had to leave because I moved to Potsdam for school. I have a love for animals, my pets mean very much to me and I know yours mean a lot to you too. I have two cats at home and one here. I also assist my boyfriends family in caring for their 2 dogs and 5 cats. Pets are part of the family and deserve the best care even when their owners are away.
