Top-rated Limerick dog sitters

“Can’t recommend David any more, any time I have needed him, be it for a night or 7 nights he has always minded my American Staff, a dog who has to be muzzled no matter what vet she goes to, is only friendly with a handful of people and likes to attack anything that moves outside the door, but when she gets out of the car at David’s she knows she’s in for a week at dog spa and runs straight in, that in itself says enough about David. Their whole family has told me story’s that shocked me to show the quality of care giving to these dogs. I would trust them with any animal of mine and you couldn’t meet a nicer family or dog sitter. Thanks very much for all the times David, Ian”

“This is our second time using Ibolya, she took excellent care of our boy Billy and kept us posted on how he was doing throughout the stay. She is so loving and Billy absolutely adores her! I would highly recommend Ibolya to look after your fur baby! ”

“I could not recommend Mags more! From the moment we booked the communication was great. We had never put our dog in with a dog sitter overnight so we were nervous but Mags really put us at ease. From the moment we met her she was so welcoming and so attentive to Bear’s needs. You can really see her love for dogs. She provided us with updates on how he was which we really appreciated. I cannot thank you enough for taking such good care of our dog. We will definitely be rebooking with Mags again. Bear is already looking to coming back for a play date with Freddie! Thanks Mags!”

“Amazing from start to finish, we have a very nervous little dog and Melissa hadn't a bother minding her for us. She sent us pictures every day and reassured us that little bella was in good hands. I wouldnt hesitate for a second to have bella go to melissa again. 10/10 all around, thanks again Melissa”

“Sammy and her partner were very kind and friendly with us since the first contact. My whippet suffers from separation anxiety, which can be quite demanding, but they were very patient with her and for sure met all my expectations. Not to mention Jasper, her dog, he is gorgeous and absolutely adorable.”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sandra and her family! They looked after my dog for one night, and I could tell right away that he was in great hands. Not only did they make him feel at home, he had so much fun playing with their dog Nala – it was like they were best buddies from the start! Sandra sent me regular updates and pictures, which put my mind completely at ease. I loved seeing how happy and comfortable Bear was, and it made me confident that he was getting the best care possible. I’m so grateful for her kindness and care. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving, and attentive pet sitter. Thank you again for everything! ”

“Taylor had the best time with Brendan! His set up is ideal with loads of space, they went on loads of walks and he sent pleanty of updates. Such an ideal location - Taylor came back so happy after her stay. I would highly recommend.”

About: I have 2 dogs of my own. One is rehomed and we are attending training regularly. I love dogs, my uncle for 15 years of my life rehomed dogs and I have helped alongside him since I was a child. I have great experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and attitudes. I love the outdoors. I am from a farming background and a busy life. I want to walk dogs to catch up with myself while also keeping busy and enjoying the company of other dogs as my own. As stated, I have helped alongside my uncle, who worked with rehoming dogs for 15 years. I have no problem in walking your dog in your area, an area nearby, or playing with them. Or a mix of both. I have a car to transport them. Trained my own dog since a pup, rehomed another and taking him to training to work off some bad habits. Have had dogs from Rhodesian Ridgebacks to Retrievers. My dogs sleep in the garage. I have 2 crates and 2 areas under a workbench made into crates. Have a large run outside with 2 kennels in it. A half acre garden out back. I have a river along our road and land on our farm.

About: Hi Folks, do you need a doggy play date or a nice friendly walk - look no further. Winnie the Doberman is full of fun, chasing blowing leafs in the woods or chasing the wind down our cul de sac back road. Your dog will have lots of fun. Are you going on holidays and you don't fancy kennels? I've been there. However, having taken to dog sitting I've noticed the implications it has on owners of over pricing in this industry. I am here to help. Your dog will be safe and secure in our sealed off back yard with access to shelter via a flap door to the garage where it will reside during their stay. They will also have the company of Winnie. If your dog is taking up residence, I ask that all dogs have enough food, a blanket and their favourite toy upon arrival. All dogs must have proof of kennel cough and flea checks.

About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is a lifetime immersed in canine companionship, combined with specialized skills tailored to meet every dog's unique needs. Growing up, I've cared for a diverse range of breeds, from small breeds like pugs and shih tzus to large breeds like St. Bernards, boxers, and Rottweilers, giving me a comprehensive understanding of their varied temperaments and care requirements. Living in Limerick, County Limerick, I offer a local, reliable service deeply rooted in the community. My experience extends beyond basic care; I have experience in puppy training, ensuring that even the youngest pups learn and grow in a positive environment. My approach is simple: to treat every dog as if they were my own, providing not just a safe and comfortable environment, but also engaging activities tailored to their energy levels and preferences. With me, your dog isn't just being watched; they're receiving personalized care from someone who genuinely loves and understands dogs. I am working night shifts no longer than 6 hours long 12pm-6am. But I’m currently looking into dog grooming courses as I’d like to care and love for dogs full time When it comes to caring for your beloved pets, safety, trust, and a nurturing environment are my top priorities. Whether in my home or yours, I create a secure and loving space where your dog can thrive. My commitment to safety includes careful monitoring, secure handling, and a keen awareness of potential hazards. In my home, dogs enjoy the freedom of a fenced back garden perfect for playtime, as well as access to numerous surrounding areas ideal for engaging walks and adventures. I tailor my care to each dog's unique needs, ensuring they receive the exercise, attention, and affection they deserve. I understand the importance of trust, which is why I maintain open communication with pet owners, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly. Additionally, I'm dedicated to creating a positive environment through crate and potty training, offering consistent guidance and support to help your furry friend develop good habits.
